A twirl and twist in the nether.

One shining prick of darkness.

The reflected image of a soul.

Untouched by light and shadow.

A grey existence among us.

Walking slowly at the edge.

 

Teardrops running down.

Streaking the cheek in light.

Enchanting the darkness as well.

A pearl falls on one side.

As it tips the scales of death.

Moan and sigh you silent one.

 

Another step in darkness.

Seeking an end to it all.

Finding an embrace of warmth.

From something unknown and sad.

A hug and a kiss of bloody red.

Another tear for the other side.

 

A rainbow in black and white.

Spectrum in all kinds of grey.

From a pool to another of dry blood.

Ashes raining upon the face.

The innocent walks another step.

In seconds, an eternity have passed.
