Poetic Justice 170 October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 So, yea. The title pretty much says it all. However, I have a pretty bad habit of doing stuff like this on a whim and regretting it down the road. So, here is where I am at right now-- I have a PC. It is a powerful PC. I game 99% of the time on my PC. The only game I play on my PS4 is Destiny, and even then, it's only on Saturdays so I can help with the events. The only game I am really looking forward to on the PS4 is The Order 1886, besides that, every game I want is also coming out for PC, and I do have the hardware to run it. And at the end of the day, if I really want to play a PS4 game, I have friends who own the PS4, and I could simply go to their house and game there. Really, the only thing stopping me is the fact that my job allows me to check out games for 3 days for the systems. For obvious reasons, I cannot do that for PC. What do you guys think? Should I hold onto my PS4 for a little while longer, or jump ship now and get the money from my PS4 to upgrade my PC.

A Black Circle 1,586 October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 In time the PS4 will be great. Check my blogpost. Dunno if sarcasm but it is my favorite console it wasnt. its my favorite (though over time the original xbox is coming close) Yea. By next year, 4k will be standard resolutions. The PS4 and Xbox One will never have that happen. yeah, they didn't build these machines to last (because AAA's are asshats) and nintendo knew that if your plan is to make good games, things will work out. I think there might be a 8 1/2 generation with the PS4.5 and the Xbox One and a half 1 Biscuit.

Klobb 1 October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 I say keep it. If you have a bad habit of doing this stuff then regretting it later, I suggest you don't make the same mistake again. You'll get good games eventually anyway!

DaReaper 1,944 October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 I don't buy into console wars or pc masterrace. I look at it this way, if there are gonna be games for it , like order 1886 and others(i personaly love the infamous series)i say keep it. But if it's gonna collect dust and you're not gonna miss it, sell it now while the asking price is high. ^^ avatar and sig by me Want a Reaper made Sig?Go here http://mlpforums.com/topic/75308-sigs-i-made-to-share-with-everyone/?p=1907748 Voted best Scootaloo fan

I looked into exclusives coming out. All the ones that I wanna see are just rumored. Sly Cooper-Rumor Ratchet and Clank-Rumor

I don't really find much of a point in investing into something for just one or two games, doesn't really seem like a good use of money to me regardless of it's a PC or not.
Bright Honor 2,671 October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 To be honest I've been thinking of trading in my ps4 and vita to get an Xbox One. Tired of PSN going down every week. PS Plus is a joke. And like the Wii U which I own, Xbox One seems to be getting better exclusives.

The PS4 seems to be the better of the 2 at the moment but even then its limited by the xbone unless the game is exclusive. Currently the wii U seems to be the best overall Games that are fun and run well haha! Have ANY questions about Christianity? INBOX ME!

IronPonyApplejack 318 October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 I consider myself to be a fairly neutral gamer in terms of Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo/PC, so I'll weigh in. The reason to own any piece of entertainment equipment is what it can do for you. The PS4 can do many things, but everything it does outside of gaming can be done by dozens upon dozens of other products, so gaming's what to focus on. The reason to have, say, a Playstation instead of an Xbox, or a PC, is what you can play on it. If you have a PC, you have access to almost everything out there. And in terms of "exclusives", PC wins. No questions asked. The PC has WAY more games that you can't get on console than the other way around. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to do their research. That being said, quality over quantity, yes? Having exclusives only matters if they're exclusives YOU want to play. You want to play The Order: 1886. And Playstation exclusives have a history of not getting ported to anything else ever. So. How much do you want to play it? Does that outweigh the benefit you gain from selling your PS4 right now? Currently, the release date for The Order is set for less than 3 months from now. Is waiting until then, playing it, THEN selling your PS4 an option you'd consider? If there's nothing you see past The Order that's been confirmed that you want to play, the question I'd be asking myself is this. "What are the odds that something else I'll want to play will be coming along?" If the answer is not good, sell it. If the odds are at least decent, I'd suggest you keep it. That's my two cents. 1 If you're at all familiar with #Twitterponies, you can find me there! SUPERFOX5 387 October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 (edited) I don't own a PS4 yet, but I will say that every console has their exclusives, so you should probably hold on to it for a while. Time will come and good games come with time as well. The new Silent Hill game will apparently be a PS4 exclusive, if you are into that. I WILL also agree however, that the PC is the master race after all, look at how good Steam is doing!
