The Idea Machine

I've only been here for just a bit, but I want to give back. SInce my machine took it last gasp I can't do animation until a new one is built. So, failing that, what I can do is this.

 

The Idea Machine

 

Ever had an idea, had it fleshed out..so to speak.. and just couldn't do anything with it, give it to someone who can!

Just post your ideas here, any ideas, work on them, bring them to life, folks can drop in here for inspiration, maybe somehting to do or make, all I'd ask of those creators, give credit where credit is due, please

 

Rules :

 

1. No half ideas, have something in mind when doing this, don't just give a one liner.

 

I'll even start it off, and hopefully it goes somewhere!

 

 

Description : A Luna Video, possibly SFM or Animation.

 

Story :  Imagine being immortal, 1000 years into your life, and see the faces of friends, loved ones, guardsmen, all you have known, passing into the pages of history, how would you feel? This could be a gutpunch of a video if done right.

 

Song Used : Far From Home by Five Finger Deathpunch

 

Lyrics and descriptions :

 

Opening: black, then a quote "For all we have are the memories we keep."

                 Fade In

                We see Luna walk out on a balcony in Canterlot, it's quiet, the night is deep, and we see her look into her sky, the moon is full, and a tear in her eye.

                 The music begins with a quiet guitar....

                  Scene : She wanders the hallways, it's quiet, the world is silent as she reflects on her life, looking at the windows showing scenes from ages 

              ago, the people she has known, loved and took to her heart.

               Scene during above lyrics: She stops outside on the walkway, staring as almost into nothing, as if seeing ages past, maybe realizing

                                                          everything she knows or ever has known will just be dust in her mouth, nothing more..

                 Scene during above refrain: She gets a stubborn look on her face, the old her coming back with resolve, she will NOT be brought down by

                                                         this! She is a princess of Canterlot! And she takes to the air! She lands on a hill above Ponyville and glares down

                                                         at the town, this will not rule her! She stamps her hoof in anger!

All the places I've been and things I've seen
A million stories that made up a million shattered dreams
The faces of people I'll never see again
And I can't seem to find my way home

 

                  Scene for above Lyrics : The fire glows from her eyes, she is more than this! More than memories and despair! She will get past this as she

                                                          has so many other things, she is Luna, Princess of this night and more! They are memories and nothing more! She

                                                          stares down at the Ponyville ponies, seeing them as nothing more than a passing fancy!

                                                          But a soft touch on her hoof makes her startle for a moment, looking down......

                  Scene for above lyrics : She looks down startled, surprised shows in her face as it's Snowdrop, or the ghost of Snowdrop, looking up and

                                                         smiling at her as the music fades to the background. She points away from her, causing Luna to raise her head and

                                                         look away from Ponyville..
[Guitar Solo]

 

                  The solo plays in the background as she sees a myriad of ponies, ghostly ones at that, smiling and waving at the Princess they so

                   loved.

                      Scene for above lyrics : The music plays in the background, as an afterthought, as she walks among those who smile and bow, the shades

                                                           of ponies past, happy, loving and loved, smiling at seeing her.

 

                                                            Luna :" How can this be?!"

                                                            Snowdrop : "As long as someone remembers us, we never die. And we so love you Princess Luna, we

                                                                                 remember you!"

 

                                                              And with that, they fade away with waves, smiles, laughter.. Leaving Luna alone on the hilltop. She looks towards

                                                              the town, and with a smile, walks down, to make new memories.
