Fiesta Flare is past generation MLP's Derpy?

So after deciding to kill boredom by going back a few generations and watching MLP episodes I haven't yet tackled, I started with what seems to be the most hated of the generations....g3

 

WAIT! COME BACK! D:

 

Honestly, it's not ......SO.....bad.....(not as bad as 3.5, anyway. And for the record, a few likeable characters (Toola Roola, Whimsy Weatherbe, and Star Catcher came from that gen)), and what I started with was an episode called "Pinkie Pie and the Ladybug Jamboree". Interestingly enough, while there seemed to be a pony who looked similar to Derpy in the crowd of other ponies, there was a character pony that was given a Spanish accent, and was called "Fiesta Flare", (

) with her cutie mark being a pair of maracas. Right off the bat, I liked her name.

 

However, upon digging around for further information about her, it seems like she was the Derpy of G3; her voice might've caused controversy, after she was shown in the episode. However, unlike Derpy, no toys of Fiesta Flare were ever made. ):

I dunno. She seems like a character I could get behind learning more about, and liking, if she had the opportunity to be given more personality, and showed up in G4. Thoughts? Think DHX should try bringing Fiesta to G4 for a brief cameo; accent and all?

Oh! I've never seen her before! She's really cute. Without having seen most of G3, I dunno how she could be considered a Pre-Derpy, but then again 53 seconds isn't enough to get a feel for her character. I don't recall seeing a toy of her on strawberryreef, wish they would've made her.

I really don't see any Derp-ish activity there, at all. I don't think there WAS a Derpy equivalent in any of the other gens. I'm not an expert on ponies, though, so I can't be sure.
