((I really am sorry for holding this up. ;-;))
Aonani continued smiling. [It's alright,] she replied. [I don't mind helping you both. I'm not sure if I will be a very good teacher, but I'm willing to try and help.]
"Dunno what Aonani said, but I do agree that it was pretty lucky for Aonani to get a roommate who knows sign language," Sanuye added.
"Anyhow, I'm ready to start learning whenever. We could start tomorrow or even today after this assembly - and after we're all unpacked, of course."

@@Dji,

Saito nodded and sat down in the teacher's section. He had to admit, he was interested to see how this would go. The Headmaster was still something of a mystery to him, to be honest.

@@Mint Drop,

While it wasn't quite as fascinating as chemistry, the chance to learn something new was always exciting for Tehret. He grinned at the two of them as they arrived in the auditorium and took their seats. "Sure. We can start as soon as you guys are both ready. I'm always ready to learn." He chose to sit in the middle between the two girls. It would be easier for him to interpret for Sanuye that way.

Vi looked around at the students and tried to a find a couple of empty seats. Spotting a couple, she grabbed Sha's hand and dragged him over to the empty chairs. "I'm going to have a guess and say that most of these students are the special kind of bender." Vi said. She put a finger to her chin and was about to ask something else when she was interrupted by the principal.

@@Mint Drop, @@Alex Kennedy, @@Zhooves

Clapping his hands, Zhi called the auditorium to attention. "Now, now students. Settle down. I know that it's your first day and all and that it's all very exciting but, I want to say a few notices. First off, welcome to the Bending Academy! My name is Zhi Tun and I am you're principal." Zhi looks at where he is standing and laughs to himself. "I may not look it, but I am very short. In light of the recent discoveries of dual benders, I decided to build this school in hopes of accommodating the correct education for these people. As having this much power is a bit of a hazard if they can't control it well.

Second, some extra-curricular activities. In addition to the usual subjects, History, Mathematics and whatnot, I have decided to bring in pro-bending and the Agni Kai from the Fire Nation. For those that don't know, Pro-bending is a type of sport where three benders, well, in the case of this school, four, face against each other. After three rounds, a victorious team will emerge. The rules will be explained further by our pro-bending instructor.

Agni Kai is duel between two people. This is usually for two fire benders for the right of their honour but in this case, it will be a test taken every few weeks or so to see how you have grown.

Thirdly, I hope you enjoy your stay here at the Bending Academy. You may go back to whatever you were doing. Oh yeah, one final thing. The dorms you are in are equipped to suit all four of the elements as well as each sub-element discovered so far. Thank you for listening." Zhi finished and stepped back from the podium by lowering the earth he was standing on. He walked around the side of the podium and it turned out he was about half the height of the podium.

After the speech appeared to end, Tehret looked to each of the girls in turn. " Well that was... brief. What do you guys make of it? I'm kind of nervous about the Agni Kai thing, myself."

Yuji Mototoe hurried down the halls and made it to the auditorium just as the speech appeared to be over. He was late. Of course. Just his luck that he'd have to beat up two idiots who tried to mug him on the way here and end up being late because of it. But then, luck had never been on his side and he'd always managed before. He'd just go back to his room and try to figure out what he missed later. At least they'd let him in despite his late arrival. He sighed and headed back to where he'd been told his dorm was.  Sitting down on one of the beds, he unpacked his few possessions while he waited for his roomate to return from the auditorium.

Sha was suprised by the sudden jerk but kept being dragged around before sitting down. The principal interupted what he was about to say with his short speech but as soon as it was over he turned to Vi. "I mean I kind of knew this was a school that taught dual benders but a school just for dual benders? Are we suposse to be here?" He thinks for a moment. "Not a lot of students here... maybe that's why my dad could afford for me to attend this place... I wonder if its through some strange discount travel agency that he found this acadamy..."

"Ah, Mah. Glad to see you joined the assembly." Zhi said happily once he noticed the couple of teachers and his assistant.

"Figured I would show Mr. Kobayashi to where the auditorium was. I just happened to be around when it started." Mah replied simply and without so much as a wave, turned to head back to the receptionist desk. There was a small room in the back of the desk where she lived.

Zhi smiled at Mah's retreating form and turned to the other teachers. "You two know what you're doing tomorrow? I hope you have got both your classrooms set up because you're going to help me run the Agni Kai. I want to know what those students are capable of." Zhi said in a serious tone.

"I don't think I will be terribly good at the Agni Kai, if it ever comes up." Vi muttered and looked around at the other students, judging whether they were good at whatever bending they did or not. "That would be helpful, Mr. Zoho. Also, if you two don't mind, I want the both of you to open up the Agni Kai with a duel between yourselves to see what the students could possibly achieve if they used their full potential." Both girls walked with Tehret back to the dorm. When they reached their room, Sanuye dragged her suitcase, which she had left in the middle of the floor, to the last unoccupied bed. She turned to her roommates.
"I dunno if you guys wanna start working on sign language today or not, but if you both do, I'll be ready once I'm done unpacking."
