iceestarz 5,764 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 (edited) I've had some good teachers and some bad. My favorite is my culinary teacher this year. I love her so much. She's so funny, tells really great stories and acts like the class is just one big family. We had to write notes in my English class to a member of the staff so I wrote a note to her saying why I was thankful to have her as a teacher. I had her the day she got the note and she told me she got all teary eyed reading it Though I really love my English teacher as well. Both of their classes have the same atmosphere, so its been a pretty great senior year because of them. My least favorite...ugh. My pre-cal teacher from last year. He was a major thorn in my side. I've slightly disliked some teachers, but he was the icing on the cake. I started out being okay with him, then he got annoying so I disliked his class. After a while I plain out hated him. He never really taught us anything so I did awful in his class; I had jaw surgery and fell behind even more to the point of failing because I was at home for 3 weeks for recovery. So I dropped the class and I'm retaking the whole year again this year. And, I'm doing a hell of a lot better with my teacher now. 碇 シンジン 27,431 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 (edited) I liked my one teacher. She always had only one assignment for 1 day and if you did it you were free to go home . And she copypasted those assignments from Google. I didn't learn much but it was pretty laid back and fun. I don't like teachers who force the students to speak and are tough on them. One my math teacher always laughed when someone didnt know the answer and then he put pressure on me. I didn't like that. I also like teachers who are good at teaching because I like to learn and that laid back style is good but I don't learn much So I prefer bit more strict but not too strict style!! Megas 27,555 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 Favorite - My High school calculus teacher. He acted like us students, and we could literally call him a dick and he'd embrace it. Also he was really good at teaching calculus Least favorite - either my Spanish II teacher who taught Spanish that actually makes Peggy Hill look competent, and made our work more complicated for the sake of it, or my Human anatomy Teacher, Mr. write down 30 facts from the text book and then work on this worksheet and then we'll have a test(ugh)

Twisted Cyclone 🚓 6,257 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 Favorite teacher: My U.S. history teacher would have to be my favorite. She was real chilled with the class and she even said in front of everyone that I was her favorite. lol She was really tolerable with a lot of things. She believed in showing movies in class for educational purposes and I tell ya, we watched a LOT of movies. The best part, she didn't believe in homework. Least favorite teacher: My kindergarten teacher. I was pretty much blamed for everything in that class even if I didn't do anything. The student next to me can do something and I would be the blame for it. It was a really aggravating school year for me. Plus she said that she hated me once 1 Country and Rock fan | Car fan (especially police cars) | Weather Pony | YouTube | Twitter | DeviantART
Fricklefrackle 184 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 (edited) Favorite: That really needs to be either my French teacher or Biology, they're both so young and awesome! They always get the cool stuff, fun to laugh with, know how kids feel, we always give too many time away with the classes because of talking, it's hilarious! They also don't give a crap if someone says something bad about them, they're just like ''Sorry, couldn't hear it over the many fucks I give''.. And they're really chillaxed.. Least: That really needs to be my music teacher, she's such a bitch. She closes the door if she THINKS you're late, even though the bell didn't ring >>i came 'late' last time<<, if you come late to class, you have to wait outside, and she doesn't listen to you if she thinks you're ''ruining the whole class'' even though nobody really cares.. She always thinks we people are genuis and can play a song in 3 lessons and she doesn't remember names, ever. And she has poodle hair, so we call her behind her back >>EVERYBODY, BUT I MEAN EVERYBODY CALLS HER THAT<< ''Mrs. Poodlehair'' She's such an annoying teacher.. long gone 8,929 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 Favorite teacher: Lee, one of my IT teachers at New England Tech. She is really clear and concise and has a lot of real-world experience to back up her courses. She also laughs a lot and tells us stories about when she worked as an IT administrator, which to me gives her more character than just being someone who tells you about Windows 7/Server administration. Least favorite teacher: Beryl, one of my "teachers" back at the League School. Abusive, practically doesn't like anything, barely taught me anything worth anything, whenever I did something wrong she kept asking me if I thought I was "special" (among other things that should get her fired if the school she taught at didn't suck), I could go on and on about how bad she is until I've written a short novel. So I won't.
Neutral 1,185 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 My favourite teacher: drama Because my drama teacher actually pushes you to try your best but also to be creative and be comedic if there is a good line in there that could be used like that. He was also very understanding and caring as well, he really made you listen and think and he was very funny but could be scary at times. My least favourite teacher: food tech Just talking about the teacher gives me nightmares, she had a bad reputation for ripping up people's work, and for being such a btch at you. She also made it extremely strict like Gordon ramseys kitchen. She made it difficult for you to cook when you were being observed every 5 mins and couldn't concentrate. She shouted you if you didn't do anything when even showing proof you didn't need you were still given a shouting. Oh and she was that bad 2 students from the school I was at go expelled for assaulting her. One of them slapped her continually before intervention from teaching assistants and the other full on k.o her ass. 2 Credit to Rainbowdash72 for sig credit to Ivory for the amazing avatar credit to couleur for the wallpaper if your in hell keep going

Overdrive 5,366 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 There is one that comes to mind. In high school, I was a band kid. I played the sax. My band instructor was probably the most unprofessional, unstable, and irritable person you could ever come across. He was the kind of person that you would give anything to punch in the face. 2 "I'd rather trust and regret, than doubt and regret."

LZRD WZRD 1,929 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 Best would be a tie between my 11th and 12th grade English teachers. Both are so down to earth and really great guys. They each had a ton to say about the books we read and were fun to talk to outside of class. And they had a great sense of humor and understanding of teenagers. Worst would be my 10th grade English teacher. She was an insufferable old hag who made the most impossible tests imaginable (the high grade on our MacBeth test was 73%!!!). That was the only English class I ever got B's in and was a place I dreaded to go every day. She was a horrible, biased grader and a clueless, yet condescending witch, who still gives me nightmares 2 Check out my channel for awesome video reviews and analysis! https://www.youtube.com/c/LZRDWZRD

My least favorite teacher was my PE teacher's assistant. She HATED everyone, and treated ALL of us like we were mentally disabled because we were special ed. NEWS FLASH: SPECIAL ED DOES NOT ALWAYS EQUAL "RETARDED". Oh and another thing, she tried to get EVERYONE to "spread the word to end the word" AKA stop saying things like "gay" and "retarded" because it would be offensive. SparklingSquirrels 21,311 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 (edited) It changes every year... I don't really remember any really great or really horrible teachers from other years in school. This year, my French teacher is my least favorite teacher.. I love the class since I love languages, but this teacher is too old to still be teaching. -_- She's really boring and doesn't make the class any fun. My favorite teachers are usually my English teachers, and that's the same for this year, since we've done a lot of neat stuff in class. I like my history teacher too; he's so funny Edited November 27, 2014 by SparklingSwirls 1 ֍֎֍֎

Movealge 104 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 My favourite is my History teacher. He is the reason History is my second favourite subject, (First being Art ). He is a great teacher. He is one of the few teachers at my school who actually cares about his students. Before I had him as my teacher, I did terribly at History. I would get C's and D's in my exams and I just didn't have an interest in the subject. But now I am getting A's and B's in them. He teaches it so well and now I am much more interested in learning about the history of the world. My least favourite has got to be my Geography teacher. I like the subject but my teacher makes me dread coming into his class. He only likes the people who get perfect grades in his class . When he gives us homework, if someone doesn't answer even one question or the answer is too short, he gives us an A4 sanction sheet to write out why it is important to finish your homework. I can understand where he is coming from but I think sometimes he is too harsh.
Invincible 2,091 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 (edited) One of my teachers, the professor who taught us infinitesimal calculus was an absolute hard-ass. He had a very demanding and imposing presence; be late for a lecture and you can't take part in it until recess. Miss one altogether and your mark goes down. No one dared talk during his lectures, and albeit he was almost scary, i think he's probably one of the best teachers iv'e seen. It's easy to tell he actually cared about his students because he took the time to answer all our questions, even during his own free time. He wanted us to make it, and that's why i feel he earned my respect, and was definitely my favorite. On the other end of the spectrum, the professor delivering lectures on switching theory was very nice, but not very practical. Her lectures seemed less organized and more spontaneous, and i had troubles following up most of her course. She was probably my least favorite. I personally think that teaching, as a skill, doesn't necessarily depend on how nice you are towards your students or your ability to bond with them. It's your ability to deliver information in a way that's clear enough for your target students to acquire, you know? DATA EXPUNGED 324 November 28, 2014 Share November 28, 2014 (edited) My favourite? Probably my Chem teacher during my senior year of highschool. Taught me how to make 1,2,3-Trinitroxypropane (aka nitroglycerin or C3H5N3O9) and Cyanide (in near undetectable amounts). My least favourite teacher however, was defiantly my Calculus teacher. not only was she barely competent enough to teach basic arithmetic, but she never let us use graphing calculators even when the text specifically stated we had to. duidamasterXD 9,627 November 28, 2014 Share November 28, 2014 Favorite and best is my high school calculus teacher. In addition to being a fun, competent (I'm pretty sure he had some kind of award stating he was objectively the best teacher in the state, and rightfully so) and understanding guy, he was also very encouraging and always willing to work with anybody for as long as they needed it. He believed in me after I'd stopped believing in myself long ago, and helped me through material that made my brain feel like a mushy pile of scrambled eggs. I think that's the mark of an amazing teacher. However far you wanted to go, he'd help you get there. And my least favorite was a college English professor. I'm lucky enough to have never had a horrid, abusive or otherwise disgraceful teacher like some of the people in here have. This dude was just bland. I got absolutely nothing out of that class, and I'm pretty sure nobody else did either. And his attendance policies were absurdly strict, to the point where I'd attend his classes with either no sleep beforehand or headsplitting migraines, out of fear of getting dropped a letter grade. He really didn't want people to cut class. Which is nice, but I have enough of a work ethic not to do that anyway and sometimes it's nice to know you can miss a period or two without your grade being on the chopping block.
Gernia 691 November 28, 2014 Share November 28, 2014 Favorite - This is tough. For college so far I would say the one I had for Managerial Accounting. She was nice and did a pretty good job with lectures. She gave out a lot of extra credit and she did a great job with covering what we had to practice for exams. I also liked being able to go into her office for help in class. I interviewed her for a class I had the next semester and learned some other interesting things about her. Least Favorite - Again, I'll go with college. I could not stand the one I had for Macroeconomics. She could not lecture well at all. They were boring and uninformative, and I never learned anything from her. She was nice as a person, but she simply could not teach, which is more important to me than being nice (usually). 2 Signature by Kyoshi Hymenoptera is the most superior order of insects. | I'm the best Street Fighter player ever... in my hometown.
