I found the mane six rainbow designs gaudy and jarring at first, but the more I look at them, the more I don't despise/kind of like them. That being said, I still liked the look better on the humane six because the whole over the top, too many colours thing seems more fitting for a rock band.

I'd have to say Twilight Sparkle.  If all alicorns end up looking like Celestia and Luna after living long enough (with the flowy manes and all that), then there will come a time when Twilight looks the way she does with the Rainbow Powers permenently.  And it will be awsome.

I found this rather good video on Youtube. It's Shine Like Rainbows but with ponies...

 

 

The only thing I dislike about it is that Sunset Shimmer sings in the song, but doesn't get to appear in the video. Fair enough, there's not much footage of Sunny as a pony, but still. Made me sad.

As much as I despised the rainbow designs for the Mane Six, the humans' designs were worse. I mean, come on, Rarity! You've designed things way better than that! What happened to your sense of style?
