gaming Paper Mario 5?

So, been seeing a lot everywhere that there is going to be a Paper Mario 5 for the Wii-U. The rumor seems real, but who knows. There has been many rumors that seem so real. I have been seeing it everywhere and people has been sharing it and whatnot.

 

 

So, what is your thoughts on it? If they did make a Paper Mario for the Wii-U however. The rumor did not say any release dates, obviously, but its possible. I mean, right now Nintendo is releasing Majora's Mask  for the 3DS, Star Fox Wii-U is going to be coming soon, and then a brand new Legend of Zelda game for the Wii-U. Maybe after those it could be possible?

 

Majora's Mask remake was floating around as a rumor for awhile there, they never even confirmed it until...like a month ago. So yeah. my thoughts on a new Paper Mario is, if its gonna happen, I really hope its better than Sticker star.... because Sticker star was SUCH a let down. I mean, I kinda see it as a "spin-off" but....I really didn't like it. If this is gonna happen, I hope it'll be good.

I've heard nothing of this rumor. Though If a new Paper Mario was to be made, put it back to the turn style it was known for. Allot of this new Paper Mario stuff is annoying. Super Paper Mario was decent at least.

This is the first I've heard of it, but I'd be so glad if it was true! It'd make sense if these rumours were true, considering each console since the N64 has gotten a Paper Mario game so far aside from the Wii U.

 

Honestly, I'd probably be content with whatever type of game it would turn out to be, considering how I found even Sticker Star very enjoyable to play. Really though, a return to the mechanics of TTYD would be brilliant, maybe with some of the features from SPM mixed into it (multiple playable characters, Catch Cards, for instance). I liked the idea of Super Flag achievements in Sticker Star (not so much the execution- seeing all 8 flags up in the credits didn't exactly justify the hundreds of otherwise unnecessary battles needed to get there...  ), so something similar with less repetition and more reward would be lovely to see.

 

And, as much as I love Bowser, it'd be nice to have someone else as the final boss this time around. He was fine in the first PM because, honestly, the fact that he WON for once easily justified his return to final boss status. In SS, his character was paper-thin removed almost entirely, neither threatening or particularly humorous. He could take a break for once- let some other new menace take the stage already!  Some sort of X-Naut organization perhaps, with an evil creature that resembles Mario for a final boss.

I think it's pretty likely a new Paper Mario will happen again sometime. Dunno if we'll ever get another one like PM1/TTYD, but I really hope so because they're what Paper Mario always should be. Need more of those dense Zelda-like environments with the turn-based action command combat...

I think a Paper Mario for Wii U is a possibility.  Since the first game on Nintendo 64 (something of a spiritual successor to Super Mario RPG), there has been a Paper Mario game each gen / home console.  And I enjoyed Sticker Star.  Some complained that they had difficulty figuring out what to do, but I don't remember getting stuck anywhere for very long.  Stuck...  Sticker...  Yeah, you get it.  Adhesive jokes are always good for a laugh.  People take issue with the similarity of one Mario series...  And then fault another for doing something different.  Stop comparing every subsequent title in a series to your absolute of-all-time favorite. xD  Try to enjoy games for what they are; rather than criticizing them for what they aren't (and weren't necessarily meant to be).
