If you go on my steam account, PinkMedicGaming, you will see ALOT of anti brony Shiz (I don't want to say the actual word). I'm sorry for that! All of that stuff is my old anti brony stuff from when I was a anti brony (I'm not one anymore). But I'm trying to blend in so they don't attack me with hate! I can't delete them because I have actually fooled 2 anti bronies (Fans always win!). If I did, I would blow my cover. I'm sorry for all of the anti brony stuff. I will never fall for their stupid tricks to try and pull me in to the dark side. I will always be a brony!

Why don't you just not mention ponies or bronies at all on your Steam profile then? Are they going to assume you've become a brony since you don't bother to mention how much you hate bronies?

I think you shouldn't be sorry for being anti-brony, because this is just an opinion. The thing you should really be sorry for, is being a hypocrite, since you consciously pretend someone you aren't. Is your reputation really worth of it? Isn't it better to be true with yourself and others? Then you wouldn't have to be sorry about anything, or apologize for who you really are. I', for one, I'm proud of who I am, no matter what it is, and if someone is not OK with it, it's his/her problem, not mine.

It's a waste of time to hide the fact that you're a brony. If the worst insult that people can come up with is "you're gay" then I think you can live with it considering there's nothing to be offended about even if it were true.

 

Why put so much effort into it? It's Steam, just talk about games. Kinda what it's there for. Even if MLP comes up in conversation why would you even bother to lie about it? What's the point?

I'd say more:

Since you've been an anti-brony, and now you're a brony, you have a comparison, which they don't. You have experience they don't. So you have something to share with the world. I see it as a great opportunity: You can explain on your channel what circumstances influenced you to do such a pole shift. You have a common ground between both camps, so instead of apologize, maybe it's worth to think about how can you exploit this advantage to show those anti-bronies why did you change you mind and how it feels like to be a brony?

In my opinion, this would be a better thing you can do than just apologize.

Just don't even mention it at all. Whether you hate it or like it. I like MLP, obviously, but I have heaps of internet friends that are adamant anti-bronies, but they don't care about it, they never bring up how much they hate the show, but if it is brought up by anyone they will show obvious disapproval. It's just there's no reason to bring it up unless someone else does.

@PinkSlothBrony, while this is an interesting personal anecdote, the preferred platform for these stories are using the built in Blog system we have.
