Chronos walked through the door and looked at Celestia. He smiled at her. He looked at the courtyard and walked to Celestia's side. He set his helmet down somewhere he could find it later so he wouldn't have to carry it around everywhere, when marching or fighting, fine. But when not at war, it had no real use to him.

"Oh!" She realizes "I don't want to leave. I just need to do some research tonight for the war. There might be more in my home. That and Quill could have sent something to me" she still is a bit shocked "I don't want to leave the war, I just need to do some studies and I need somepony there to make sure I'm not up for days on end and miss dinner or training. It'll be until tonight. I can also bring books back as well"

Celestia smiled, walking through the beautiful courtyard. She bent down and sniffed a punk lily, smiling. "I love lilies," she mused, giggling.

 

Luna thought for a moment. "Fine. Go ahead." She looked at Seth. "You too. Abd take Steel." And with that, she walked out.

 

Seth blinked, watching her go.

Chronos looked at the lilies, they were his wife's favorite flower. "I enjoy them also but I have always been more of a Rose stallion myself." He said before looking at the lilies closer, he could hear some birds. It was such a change of pace from what happened earlier, He liked it. He rarely got time to relax, mostly because of the stress of being an only parent.

Novel looked confused for a moment "o-okay" she turned to Seth as her ears lower, feeling awful about asking now. Novel looks at the ground and keeps her head low. She begins to walk out the door. She felt like Luna is angry with her for asking and feels awful

All this time while everything's going on lightning flair has been training he has not left the training court for anything as he pants he used up a lot of magic. He grabs his sword. "Again!" He shouts as he disappears determined to be ready for anything

Seth blinked, following her. He nuzzled her, trying to cheer her up. "I-I'm sure she's not upset, sweetheart," he said, kissing her cheek.

 

Luna sighed, walking down the hall. -Now starts everypony leaving...- she thought, sighing.

 

Lunar smiled. "I have to get back to training. I'll talk to you later," she said to Flux, then trotted off. She wondered where Flair was, looking around.

 

Celestia smiled. "We have some really pretty roses over that way," she said as she pointed a hoof over to a beautiful rose garden.

Flair was panting now he has destroyed this dummy over numerous of times but he always used magic to fix it up again just for it to get destroyed, He falls back, taking a break he wipes the sweat with his hoof. "Geez its been a long time" He says chuckling.

Chronos walked over to the roses and looked at them. Roses reminded him of his wife, Beautiful but can hurt you if your not careful. He smile and chuckled quietly. He smelled the roses and looked at Celestia, "How long did it take to get such a large collection of flowers?" He asked

Novel still looks somber "well I guess we need to find Steel" she sighs "any ideas as to where he could be?" She looks around, puzzled "I have not seen him since breakfast, I do not want to waste any time, and I do not want to disobey her orders" her face turns red "I just fear he won't like my home"

"Sure, catch up with you later. Concentrate on your training." Flux waved as she went to sit in a corner on her lazy flank. She watched as they honed their skills. She could see a dummy on the other side of the court. Sighing, she set it ablaze, hoping she hadn't acidentally killed some hard working pony. "Bored, bored, bored!" She groaned as she watched them.

Grell nodddd "eventually but it depends on how quickly you can get over your fears I wish I could help with this part but I can't however I will be right here next to you" grell said wrappinh his forelegs around her nuzzling Her as well

Steel was up on the tallest tower sill napping away soaking up the sun shine

Midnight nodded, sighing. She closed her eyes, snuggling up next to him.

 

Seth thought for a moment. "Probably up on the roof taking a nap. I'll go get him," he said, opening his wings.

 

Celestia smiled, walking over to him. "A pretty long time. Although, there are a few new flower bundles here I haven't seen before," she noticed, not knowing of Flair's burnout in the courtyard.

 

Lunar walked over to him, smiling. "Hey, big bro. What's up?" she asked, nudging him.

Novel nods, looking at Seth "I'll be in my room" novel sighs and begins to walk off, keeping her head low. This is why she never asks favors of other ponies ever. She sighs as she makes her way to her room, at least she can read her journals while she waits for the others.

Chronos looked at the flowers, "maybe somepony planted them without you knowing..." He said before looking back to the roses. This was not a normal rose garden with just red roses, this one seemed to have many types of roses.

 

(If it is the castle courtyard, I'm guessing it would have a wide array of rose colors... maybe even blue. Okay maybe not blue since those have to be generically engineered or dyed.)

Seth nodded, opening his wings and flying out of the castle. He flew up and began searching for Steel.

 

Celestia blinked, looking at him. "Who would ave done that?" She thought for a moment. "Wait a second... Flair had said something about burning the courtyard... Did he do this???" she asked out loud, tilting her head.

He pants realizing lunar was with him now, "Oh hey" He says as he was pretty sweaty as he didnt even have enough magic to keep his sword with him as he chuckles, he throws his sword up in the air, it vaporizes and sends itself back into the sky. as he wipes the sweat off his forehead again.,

"I don't know? If he did he could have done it when he left during dinner last night, Or right before it..." Chronos said, as he turned to look at her. Chronos looked at the courtyard floor, he thought about how just a few hours ago, last night, the ground was scorched like if a jar of Naphtha went off.

(Sorry about my replying being so slow everypony. Been spending my Valentine's Day weekend with Dashian, so haven't had much time to post ^^; )

 

Celestia smiled, shaking her head. "That poor stallion... His mother is going to kill him one of these days..." she muses, giggling a little. She could just imagine him, fixing the courtyard by hoof, apologizing nonstop.

 

Lunar smiled, nuzzling him. "I'm hungry. Can we go get some lunch?" she asked, her ear twitching.

 

Seth blinked, noticing him. He swooped down and landing by him. "Steel, Luna wants you to go with me and Novel somewhere," he says, hoping he could here him. He was honestly too afraid to touch Steel. He just looked like the type of pony to slit throats first and ask questions later.

His stomach rumbles making him realized he was hungry he blushes and chuckles. "Sure lets go grab a bite" He agrees as he gets up, and starts heading back towards the castle, his crown was his still on his head, he seriously hates wearing it but hey what can you do in war

Steels eyes snapped open and he had a dagger in hoof as Seth landed by him once Seth spoke he put the dagger away standing up "oh okay" steel said "so where is novel" steel asked

Grell closed his eyes pulling her close "goodnight midnight" grell said (you'll control the nightmare)

Midnight fell asleep, but as soon as she was good and asleep, the nightmares started.

 

A filly Midnight was running around and playing outside; she was having a blast. Suddenly, a stallion was racing towards her. "Hurry! You're house!" he hollered, motioning her over. She blinked, dropping her toy and racing past him. When she saw her house, she froze in her tracks; it was ablazed with fire! Her eyes welled up with tears and she raced inside, fighting the flames. "MOTHER! FATHER!" she screamed, coughing from all the smoke. She heard a loud crack and dodged out of the way just as a giant beam fell where she was once standing. She jumped over the beam, racing trough the house. She saw two familiar ponies, trapped under a beam. She screamed out, racing over. She had to buck the beam quite a few times before it finally broke, and she was able to get it off them. She grabbed both of their tails in her mouth and began dragging them out. She got them out the front door and drug them to the yard. She was crying like a baby and coughing hard; her tail and mane were singed and blackened with soot and smoke. "Mother! Father! Please wake up!" she cried, shaking them roughly. Soon, firefighters and paramedics were on the scene. They had to peel her off the burnt bodies as she kicked and screamed. "NO!!! MOTHER!!! FATHER!!!"

 

Midnight jerked awake. "NO!" she yelled, sitting up. Tears were pouring down her face.

 

Seth smiled. "She's in her room getting ready. Let's go get her." He opened his wings and flew down.

 

Lunar began walking to the castle, banishing her armor.

Grell had fallen asleep and was sleeping quirky when midnight woke up screaming he pulled her close suhing her and wiping her tears "remember midnight it's made to make you face your fears so you gotta face is head on" grell said wiping the tears away

Steel nodded and took flight following him

Novel waited for the others, all ready to go. She paces back and forth in her room, a million thoughts going through her mind. Oh she hopes she cleaned or that her place was clean enough for company. What if he thinks she is insane? She is going to battle with Steel and doesn't want him to see her as a loon

Seth landed at the doors then walked in, trotting down the hall. His armor clanked a little as he trotted.

 

Midnight was crying and shaking, unable to catch her breath; she was having a panic attack. She kept mumbling "no" over and over again, clinging to Grell for dear life.
