It is a dark night (in your house in whatever town/city) you have just finished another honest days worth of work but little did you know that was the last honest bit of work you will ever do. You heard a lot of rumors about a great mercenary group starting to crumble. You are great at your talents and everyone seems to notice, but your fellow townsfolk aren't the only ones who notice...

Alamo had just finished fixing a house in Ponyville, in which he had made his temporary home since he moved from the South. "Alright, its finished, took me a little bit but they'll like it, I hope." Alamo says sweating and breathing heavily, Alamo then starts walking towards into town to get his payment for fixing the houses. "Its not as hot but its just as hard working as the none the less."

After moving the clouds around his house above Canterlot castle so he could catch the last rays if sunlight, the silver winged Pegasus returns his clouds layering a set of storm clouds to hide his house again. Mirrorwing had kept to his routine of hiding from the public for a long time, almost to the point where he has forgotten what it is like to be around normal ponies. The only ones he ever spoke with were just as old as he was and definitely didn't qualify as normal. The guard of Celestia had lived first centuries but managed time grow bored of his life and had heard rumors of something that could use his particular talents again, but was waiting to be recruited. To be a soldier again, to be surrounded by ponies where he would be able to stand next to and finally do what he does, rather than just watching everything that happens around him like a simple spectator. Watching the moon, he settles in again, hidden from all but two ponies, as far as he knew Anyways.

Rave had returned home after having scouted the mountains near the Crystal Empire. "Ah how lovely to be home. When traveling, one hears a lot of rumors. Perhaps this particular one could be worthwhile". Rave put down his traveling saddlebag. He levitated his mapping orb and a black shard. "Another dark artifact. Wonderful".

"Alright Red. I'll take it from here." Captain Shining Star had come to relieve me of watch duty. "Thank Celestia. If you hadn't shown up any sooner I would've fallen asleep."Alright you head off now. Go get some sleep." I saluted him and walked off to the building that housed Celestia's guards. I quitely slipped in and went to my room. I stripped the issued armor off and sat down at my desk. I pulled out a book, the one my mother had sent me recently, and started to read it.

Snowflake watches the Earth Pony finish up what he is doing this gives him an idea... Snowflake quickly runs towards Alamo panting "mister please I need your help, my friend got dragged into that alley by some thugs I...I...I tried to help but I'm only a scholar not a fighter please mister she needs your help!"

MaskedMystery stands just outside Mirrorwing's house and waits for him to open the door (MaskedMystery is dressed in a full Plague Doctors outfit his face or body is never shown) "good afternoon my name is MaskedMystery.... by the look on your face your probably wondering... how did an Earth Pony get up here... Well you see I am the greatest doctor and alchemist in all of Equestria. I have potions that can make me walk on clouds, potions that can make me quicker and stronger and I cure you of any disease. Today is your lucky day sir I have just finished a new potion that makes one of your wishes come true and I will give it to you absolutely free... there is no risk and no catch so here have a sip and let your dreams come true"

I looked up at the lieutenant. I couldn't believe what I had just heard. I had just gotten relieved of guard duty and now I'm being sent right back out. This was complete bullshit. "Yes sir." I said, hiding the tiredness in my voice. I put my guard armor back on and followed the lieutenant outside. "Permission to speak sir?"

Alamo looks at the the pony who needed help, "Alright I'll guess I could help, Alamo brings up his hammer in a pose for striking apon sight, Alamo begans to wonder what his troubles will become that night, but he has an hour to help so, he begin moving into the allyway

Rave begins testing the shard. He links himself with it using his magic. The room goes dark, the light from the candles not seeming to be able to penetrate the darkness. Then light returned. "It worked, it filled me with power" he chuckled. "This will be useful". He checked his mapping orb and started to search for a new area to investigate for dark artifacts. When he saw his own house, a smile crept up his face. "I guess I am not alone in here. Come along, show yourself, step out into the light".

"Looking at the earth pony, Mirror Wing isn't as concerned with How the pony is on the clouds, but more with How he managed to find his house and get past the storm clouds with his notice. "How did you get here? And a potion? I am not sure if you know this, but I don't have a habit of accepting strange potions. Maybe if you explain about How you know I was up here, and what you know about my wish, I'll accept. Don't blame me for being doubtful, but with Age comes experience, and that, I have plenty of."

Frostbyte knowing he has been spotted comes out slowly "well played, I underestimated you. since I know tricking you or sneaking up on you isn't going to do anything I won't sugarcoat why I'm here. I have been sent by my master to find you for our... organization. don't worry we aren't a cult of chaos worshipers. I was sent across the lands of Equestria to gather you in specific no one else just you and I'm not leaving empty hooved so take anything you need before we leave once your ready put this bag over your head and pretend to be out cold.... I don't want to look bad in front of my master... trust me if I wanted to kill you I would of had 3 others helping me, there is no way I could take you on by myself so hurry up and lets go"

*Alamo fall the ground out cold but in mind* "Well my honor, gets me, what I get for working late should have went home but when my body fixes itself i'm heading for the guard barrack to have this pony arrested, He, ain't gonna be able to take much but my hammer, and maybe some spare bits, but who ever wake me up will get a hoof to the face."

"Hey! What the-" I was unable to finish as a wave of sleepiness came over me, making me feel like I was about to pass out. "What are-what are you doin?" I managed to sound out, mumbling the last few words. I started to feel more and more sleepy until the wave of sleepiness changed to a state of unconsciousness and the last I remembered before slipping into it was being released and falling to the ground.

Standing, he turns to the earth pony. "Not once in my life I was dumb enough to fall for that. I'll give you credit for tricking me, but you most certainly won't enjoy your reward." Turning to the first pony, he looks down at him. "You had better have a Damn good reason for this, because I would prefer to only kill him for now. You don't look like you would be worth it." He says, stomping a hoof angrily. "Why gather a bunch of ponies?"

"What?" I said, starting to wake up. "What's goin on? Where am I? What do you want with me?" I asked. "Somepony better start explaining some shit to me right now." I looked at the lieutenant from earlier, the one that foalnapped me. "Lieutenant what's going on. Why'd you bring me here?"

Rave looked at the other ones and laughed as he got up. "Well, I guess I am the only one that got the VIP treatment" he laughed again. "So, I don't think I am the only one wondering what is going on here. What is the reason that we are all being brought here? What is your interest in us?".

"ah good your all awake now don't fear we aren't going to kill you but we have been watching all of you for weeks now you all are talented in your own ways that would be a great benefit to us, now we trust you enough to take your bags off but can we trust you won't try to murder us if we untie you? well then I will explain what this place is and who you are talking to, we are the first unit of the Shadow Bolts and this is our headquarters.... now I know you have heard the rumors that we are crumbling well those they are true only because the....th..." "its alright you don't have to say it I can take it from here.... sorry he has a hard time talking about the second unit they.... they didn't make it, his sister was part of the second unit he just hasn't been the same ever since... anyways the reason we foalnapped you all is because we would be honored if you four would be apart of the third unit... if you refuse we will take you back to your home and you will forget everything that happened (that also eliminates you from the RP so don't do it) so what do you say? will you join us?" "we will answer any questions you may have if you join us"

"we are mercenaries we do what ever we need to so long as it involves bits but more commonly we are foalnappers, thieves, heroes, spies, and sometimes assassins as for whats in it for you we receive contracts by random individuals you fulfill the contract you keep the money minus a cut for the Shadow Bolt treasury, also don't worry about having to share everyone gets paid equally lets say someone is paying 5k bits to do something and two mercenaries were involved you both would be getting paid 5k bits minus the cut for the treasury as for how much of a cut its a 25% cut for our treasury"

I had to think a moment before deciding. This group did seem interesting to me but I didn't know much about them, and I didn't want to make the wrong decision. "Alright . I guess I'll join your group." I said, deciding. "But if it turns out all you are is just a bunch of evil doers. You can count me out. Now could you please untie me."
