Not to be rude, but wouldn't it make sense for the DM to write up a paragraph of what character they intend to play? From one DM to another, it helps to set the bar in what you expect in an app!

Long ago, when Discord was still at the peak of his chaotic reign, before the Royal Sister's intervention, an extremely powerful unicorn resided in the land of Equestria. His name was Zealos, and he held the title of the Archmage. Being well-informed about the unicorn’s unmatched powers, Discord sought to use him in the creation of a very important item. Against his will, Zealos began working on a project known as the Void Stone: an artifact capable of nullifying every single known spell in the universe – even the Elements of Harmony. With this stone in his possession, Discord planned on becoming invincible, and his evil empire would be sure to last forever.

 

However, Zealos did not plan on assisting the wicked king. Although he did complete the Void Stone, the Archmage presented Discord with a mere copy; a fake one. Believing he held the spell shield needed to confront Celestia and Luna, Discord was ultimately defeated by the Elements of Harmony and peace returned to Equestria.

 

As the tale goes, Zealos hid the real Void Stone somewhere deep inside the Everfree Forest, in a place nopony would ever be able to find. It’s believed that whoever manages to find this artifact will be provided with 6 wishes, each one representing the 6 different elements of harmony. The endless possibilities promised by these wishes have sent many brave adventures after the Void Stone, with no success until now.

 

Well, I've managed to come up with this thing... This would be the premise of an adventure-focused RP I had in mind, where the Mane 6 are ordered by Celestia to go after this artifact before it falls into the wrong hooves.

Although, tbh, the thing about getting six wishes seems out of place. I mean, it's a good motive, but I don't see how this artefact would grant such a thing. Maybe we could change that a bit (via PM so we don't spoil it for everyone else).

I guess we could just disregard it completely. I added that part in just for a story-telling kind of effect, you know. "Oh, they say that if you get to the end of the rainbow you get a pot of gold", this urban legend type of stuff~ I'd say that being able to protect oneself from all sorts of powerful magic spells is already a good enough reason to go look for it.

 

Perhaps we could add that there has been recent reports of instabilities in the Everfree Forest, and that's why only now Celestia got worried about the possibility of the stone's existence and thus, summoned the Six.

We could say that the Void Stone grants the user incredible magic for a time, much like the Alicorn Amulet, but the user need not be a Unicorn...

Pinkie Pie jumped up and down, her puffy pink mane gleaming in the morning sunlight.  "I wonder what fun things there are to do today!" She said to herself in her cheerful tone.

 

As she was passing Twilight's house, she decided to ask Twilight if there was anything fun planned for today.

 

She skipped over to the door and knocked on it three times, smiling big.  Twilight opened the door, rubbing her eyes and yawning.

 

"Oh, Pinkie!" Twilight said as she reopened her eyes. "What can I do for you?"

 

"Do you have anything fun planned for today?" Pinkie said, leaning it excitedly.

 

"Actually, I'm planning on going on a trip to the Two Sisters Castle later." Twilight replied, stretching her wings.

 

"That sounds like LOADS of fun!" Pinkie pie exclaimed, jumping up and down once more. "I'll meet you there later, then!" with that, Pinkie trotted back to Sugarcube Corner.

 

"Maybe I should bake some cupcakes to bring!" Pinkie said to herself.  "Gee, I should really stop talking to myself!" She giggled.

Pinkie started mixing ingredients into a large bowl, planning out the design for the cupcakes in her head excitedly.

Hmm... In order to keep everything running smoothly, perhaps we should set a schedule type of thing? I don't know, maybe like, one post of each player per day/per two days or so. Actually, I'm not sure if we should wait for Rainbow Dash to make her introduction or not before continuing any further (even though I just did)...

 

In any case, I still have some more ideas for the RP that I'll be organizing tonight and then I'll PM @AmberDust about them.
