Any Pro-Wrestling Fans Around?

You know, i always get that moaning from those "old school wrestling fans" who say that indie wrestlers are nothing more then "vanilla midgets" and they miss larger then life characters.

 

These people never even tried to watch an episode of ROH and saw Dalton Castle:

It's just that people don't realize, that wrestling is changing. They long for things like a second attitude era, eventhough they don't realize, that the attitude era was just a product of the time and wouldn't work these days.

 

Kevin Steen/Owens is a phenomenal wrestler and was part in probably the best Rivalry in ROH history. Mainstream wrestling fans just can't appreciate that.

Again, Romans train has been gone ever since the worst Royal Rumble in the history of Wrestling. Which also makes me wonder, how long he can take it, considering we know what kinda stuff he takes.

I am also saying flair, considering he always comes out with a new robe every match. (fun fact, his one at his last WWE Match, was the most expansive of his career)

 

Jushin Liger is also special from every other wrestler i have seen, since he looks like an Anime Super Hero.

 

Shinsuke Nakamura, with his extravagant vest and pants.

 

Goldust, which transexual outfit was panned when he debuted in 1995, but became kind of a favorite.

Big Kev is very underrated in my opinion. True, he wasn't always the best wrestler ever and we certainly like to make Quad jokes. But this guy is incredibly smart, when it comes to making money in wrestling.

I agree on all points.

 

Nash is a funny guy from what I've seen and is also very intelligent as you said both about wrestling and making money.

 

He is also a great athlete considering he's 6'9" and over 300 pounds.

 

And while we may make jokes about his Quad from time to time, I'm sure most of us (Fans) say it in a kidding manner,

I like it when wrestlers deviate from the standard trunks & speedos. Or as an old forum colleague of mien called them 'man panties.' So guys like Ambrose, Raven, Cena, half the ECW roster, whoever would wrestle in street clothes, I found to be a refreshing change in pace.

 

I think Punk's ROH attire was cool.  MMA liek shorts w/ the straight edge X's on them. I'd wear them.
