The original idea was that cloudmetal was used to reinforce the city allowing non pegasi to walk within the city. However only those who are pegasi or Griffins can use the cloud councils.

 

Well you could theoretically use the same idea only over the ruins of a regular city just with a "cloud council" hovering over it. It would just have to be a small one, consisting of, at most, three or four pegasi. Again, Dashites are a major minority. Sad as it is, in the canon, most pegasi drink the cool aid or whatever the expression is.

Ok got an idea. New Cloudsdayle is an airship that was decomitioned by the enclave before it's fall and the Dashites got it to be fully functional again and that became what is now New Cloudsdayle.

 

What do you think?

 

They'd have to be flying pretty low to avoid the Enclave's radar, since I'm sure they'd take interest in a reconstructed airship

I like the idea of the repurposed airship but even with a cloaking system the ship would up on energy scans revealing it to the enclave. I personally don't want to speak against Dashia being able to return to Cloudsdale, just a lot is going against the idea of Dashite returning to anywhere above the clouds and the airship is probable but there are still variants that work against it

I for one like the idea of the air ship but it is up to defender. I as a DM try to look at every angle to make something viable and the airship only has a few issues against it

because an airship would be easier to maintain then a whole city for the few dashites that there are

Considering a stealth buck provides visiblity to a single pony for a short amount of time I would really doubt they could replicate that on a flying fortress. In the avengers the ship had self-sustaining energy or something along those lines.

 

I don't think I would have an issue with them using a shot-down airship and grounded airship as their base, of course it would be more remote than your typical town to stay out of Enclave radar range.

Well a pipbuck is Stable-Tech technology. The Enclave have something similar because Calamity has an E.F.S. in his helmet but it's not the exact same thing.

 

If I may offer a compromise, perhaps a small group of Dashites make their home in a crashed ship! It's large enough to house a small community, so they'd be serving their purpose in protecting surface dwellers, but also something the Enclave would likely assume was completely destroyed so it has deniability!

Although there is another element you could do to keep your original idea mostly intact. Make her a spy! She secrets herself to the surface without the Enclave knowing.

 

That way she not only has a reason to return once in a while to maintain her cover, but she also doesn't run into the "problems" of being a Dashite that we've been listing.

Yea she has a 7 cha but not many points have been put to those skills. Also her perks Wouldn't add up.

The Rainbow Dash part of her cutiemark stands for her Virtue of loyalty. The silver wrench stands for her special purpose.

The downed ship idea is good. I will go with that.
