Simple, those two were a good team before so Crackshot would more than likely bring him along in case dung hits the fan, plus he strikes me as being rather perceptive

Part of Ezekiel's character flaws is that he's rather "innocent." That and he doesn't understand sarcasm or double speak. He'll buy almost any lie he doesn't know for a fact is untrue. When it comes to regular ponies, he's a very literal and surface level thinker.

Not exactly what I meant. Ezekiel won't stand for dirty tactics. Dishonorable action, especially done in the name of "pragmatism", is a personal berserk button. (e.g. Shooting an unarmed foe, striking an unready opponent, dirt throwing, deception, etc.)

If Crackshot's face to face with a raider or slaver or someone like Ricto, he wouldn't exactly be above such tactics

Because more than likely offing the boss would cause the entire town to light up, and the less fire on their asses, the better
