Ezekiel came to and stretched with a smile on his face. "I needed that night of rest, now my abilities will now be at their best!"

Ezekiel strapped on Khalid and turned to their host. "I don't suppose their is time for me to meditate? If not, I can be a day or two late."

Chip listened to the griffin and then looked to the Griffin with a gaze of disapproval. "Well aren't you ray of sunshine?" He said clearly upset at the comment as his gaze drifted up to the sky as he still had his goggles over his eyes from the baby delivery. "Granted it's not the best place to live but it's all we got. Should we deny new life or refuse to protect it just because we live in a shit world? I for one say no, we should cherish it otherwise we're no better then many of the shit head raiders in the wastes... although then again you were a past slaver, so I guess I shouldn't expect you to feel the same."

Chip tightened up what he had loosened on his gun. "I'll give you that you're right, I almost forgot. It's just how I deal with stress and delivering a new born is certainly stressful." He said  as he put his rifle to his back.

"Well if you really are curious, I'll give you the short version. I was raised in an engineering lab with my father, learned weapons manufacturing as well as technological engineering. A year ago my father was kill by the raider boss in ponyville which I ended up living in ponyville as a weapons expert. Later I got involved with this group because of a group of soldiers that rolled through with a tank spewing a heinous virus though its exhaust. We dealt with them and now we are trying to figure out and stop this group." He explained looking to the ground.

Dashia worked quickly to make sure Anna and the baby survived. When done she curled up just inside the sky wagon and took a light nap. She knows it won't reduce the fatigue but it would help some. She listened with half awake ears and no sight. Should anything attack while they are here she will be ready.

She also motions to Dyna before curling up. Hopefully Dyna knew that it ment for her to rest with Dashia.

"I wasn't trying to start shit but if you assume my little enjoy what good you can do in the wasteland comment was a testament to my opinion about life in the wasteland you got another thing coming." I stated as I tightened my gas mask on my face, tucking it snuggle underneath my helmet. "I never said I didn't cherish life and protecting it is the responsibility of those who own it. So don't go comparing struggling survivors with crazed murder rapist just yet."

"Being a slaver has taught me to cherish life more then anything so cross that out of your checklist unicorn. If being a slaver means my family can arm and feed themselves I'm all for it. Besides Red eye is the only pony out there with a big plan for the wasteland so is it really a surprise many ponies join up with him."Chip lived in ponyville rather hostile place for a pony of his morals.

"Rather interesting background yourself Chip. Arming and equipping raiders with weaponry to do the things they do was probably another part of your plan to make the wasteland a better place right?" I stated jokingly. "So this group hit ponyville huh? If so I'm glad they cleared that fucking shit hole of a town. But other then that this virus of theirs is gonna cause problems for every wastelander out there. Red eye included, so these fuckers should watch what there doing or risk the wrath of hundreds of rifles being pointed at them."

"Thanks." Aile smiled softly as her head finally came through the barding, with the help of Crackshot's magic of course. She then turned to face Xerath who was now standing outside the front door with his hoodie pulled over his cybernetic head. "I suppose the answer to your question was no Ezekiel!" Aile shouted to her Zebra friend before stepping out and waiting for Xerath to direct them where to go.

Xerath spared not one more minute and began walking through the city, which was largely still asleep. "We like to allow our citizens to sleep in, plenty of hard work went into this city and plenty of hard work is still happening to improve the quality of life here." He commented as Aile and the rest followed behind him, however, the rest of the way proved to be silent as they moved through the more residential portion of the city. Finally, they had made it to the large steel doors of the city, with a simple gesture from Xerath's hoof, the doors groaned as the ponies responsible, yet out of view began working the mechanisms to open the door. Xerath stepped towards the door as it opened, nothing but darkness was there to greet the cyberpony as he traversed the nothingness. "Are you coming or not?" He asked to Aile and the group.

Dashia unfurled herself and torts over to them. "I couldn't help but over hear you. This virus wiped out an innocent town about a 3 hour flight from ponyville. It was a small town. This group of fanatics, wearing the armor of the steel rangers, wiped out every last stallion, mare, filly, colt and foal with that Virus. They didn't care who they hit as long as they did their job. I'd say they would face red eye and they would let their virus wipe him out for them. We don't even know if the unity alicorns or the ghouls are immune to it."

She sits with them her power armor more then able to handle the acid rain.

"Alright calm down, your comment made it sound like you expected this life to flame out rather quickly and that I don't much approve of." He said looking to the griffin who had tightened his gas mask back on his face. "I'm not saying struggling ponies are similar to raiders only if they choose to turn their back on those who could use protection and care."

"Well at least you had a good reason for your past but there are other ways instead of taking another pony's freedom." He growled obviously not approving of the slaver profession in general. "There are other ways to make money... mercenary work or a bounty hunter. Although I'm doubtful about what beneficial "plans" a head slaver would have for the wastes."

"I only did it because Ponyville was the closest settlement to my father's lab and I knew I wouldn't last long alone in the wastes, I can admit that. Honestly I only repaired their weapons, Ricto their leader was intercepting my supply routes to arm his men for free and sell the extras for more profit. So the guns in my shop were shit and I didn't have the parts to improve them, the laser rifle I use is the best I could scrounge up from the lack of supplies." Chip argued not all that annoyed at the comment. Actually the virus only took down a few dozen of the raiders, after we took down the tank and I refurbished the tank cannon into a weapon we returned to Ponyville... which I killed Ricto, after I learned he killed my father, before leaving Ponyville. which I also caught fire to my shop so all of ponyville is probably ash now."

"What Dashia says is correct, they did also use the virus on actual innocents rather then just raiders. The virus is horrifying, it thins the blood to beyond a normal level to the point where the blood begins to pour from every orifice." Chip shuddered at the memory when he remembered he made the dispersion unit for the virus, he put his hoof to his head looking slightly horrified.

Dashia pats chip on the back. "Remember you didn't know. Don't beat yourself up about it."

She then nussles the back of his neck and heads back to the sky waggon. She motions again for Dyna and sits near Anna. "So how are you and the foal holding up? I know we didn't have everything to guarantee survival but it looks like we had enough."

"She didn't have to yell, it was a simple question." Ezekiel thought to himself. He followed as he was bidden and listened to their hosts. He took a step forward in front of his friends as the gates opened before them all. He turned to them, smiled, and raised his hoof in a "come on" gesture.

Anna still didn't look very good, but she'd been through a lot. At least she seemed a lot happier, now that the pregnancy was over. The now mother laid under a blanket to keep warm, protected from the rain, and anything else outside. It had beena pretty long day, and she really wanted to sleep but... Anna didn't mind a vistor. She actually somewhat wished some of the other people in their group would come to see the foal, since it was a big thing. Anna was happy she was alive, birth complications were easily one of the worst ways to go. The idea of dying when you just brought a pony into the world who needed you.

The foal was laying against Anna's side on the blanket. So small, so fragile. From the shape of it's muzzle, it was a little colt, with little wings. He was nice and clean now, with a diaper on, and a blue pacifier he was suckling on. It seemed Anna had plenty of supplies she had gathered from her long travels. The foal was a shade of grey, with a full head of brown hair, and the smallest little wings on his back. Everything about him was small, he looked smaller than the typical infant, and a little scrawny. Who could blame him since his mother was malnourished herself.

"Okay, I guess..." Anna said with her head laid down next to the baby, her muzzle just gently touching his. He was sleeping, of course, but when Anna nuzzled him, he seemed to squint his eyes at her. Ocean blue eyes, just like mommy. She looked directly back at him, their eyes meeting for the first time. To her he was beautiful.

"I think I'll name him Zeus" Anna said

Aile groaned as Ezekiel motioned for them to follow him and the cyberpony into the darkness, however, there was no point in protesting as this was the only exit, at least it seemed that way. "You still have that light pendant of yours, right?" She asks Ezekiel in a hopeful voice as she followed behind him into the darkness.

"Like you need to ask." He tapped it and it flashed faintly. "Just that you keep in mind, I would never leave this holy talisman behind." In the darkness, the talisman gave off a faint and warm glow even when not bidden such was it's nature. It would not let the shadows got near it's vessel or chosen bearer.

"Right cause their obligated to help random strangers with the resources they risked their lives for," I said rolling my eyes. Dashia walked on by to explain her cut of the cake. Her take was more or less the same despite being horrifyingly insulting to Redeye. Before I could state an arguement she left to go talk to Anna. "There are a lovely amount of variables to talk about when it comes to slavery, so I'll cut that short so I don't end up angering myself and killing all of you." I sighed as I changed the subject. "Virus huh, what you described sounds like some of the pre war biochemical stuff used for war. If these assholes are as advanced as you say they are the steelrangers won't be too happy about it, or worse the dead boys." These new villains of ours sounded like some retarded comic book bad guy. But hey more money for me if I manage to loot them. Chip was naive but he stuck to his morals, I can respect a guy like that. His story is a bit unbelievable, but hey red eye got alicorns so what the hay.

Crackshot followed the cyberpony toward the large doors, which slowly opened to reveal nothing but darkness. He wasn't that fazed; he'd been in dark places before. Stables, subway tunnels, pre-war buildings. But this one seemed...off. It unnerved him a bit, but not enough to show.

He followed Ezekiel upon seeing his gesture, lowering his head and keeping his ears erect for any sudden movements.

The zebra truly did come prepared, his talisman acting as a good flashlight.

All this fancy technology and they couldn't be fucked putting lights in here, he snarked internally.

Chip looked to the griffin when he changed the subject back to the virus. "Yeah it's a spore based plant matter that causes the effects." He said glancing back to Dashia and back to the griffin. "Dashia actually has a sample that we were hoping to get analyzed when we go to her home so we could find out more of it."

Chip looked back to Dashia and Anna, he decided he had calmed down enough and walked over to the three. He sat himself next to Dashia and put his hoof around Dashia's shoulders and looked to Anna. "I'm glad to see you two are looking well." He said gently smiling to Anna.

"A handsome name for a cute foal. May I be his godmother? Also if you ever need anything. Mom and Dad will be happy to help. Mom can't have foals anymore. So having him around will help you because he will stay safe and you can get well." Dashia says with a smile.

@Chip Circuit

When chip puts his arm around Dashia, She nussles him. "I am glad to see you have calmed down. When we finally move out, I must warn yall home's security is active on lockdown and well we will need to regain control before everyone dies. Home is all i have beyond you guys. Please help me keep it safe." Dashia looks sad now that the foal thing is over. She looks worried for her family.

Dyna did not understand anything that was going on. She was a bit confused. She had decided to follow Chip when the events with the baby was taking place. Now that it was born, she decided to give everypony some space. She left the current area and was outside, playing with rocks. She was tossing them and watching them roll.

Spore based infection huh, so a decent bit of fire might be able to help with that I assume. Any mother fucker smart enough to survive in the waste has their own oxygen mask. This evil plan of theirs might be a short term thing to distract us from a bigger plan they got, considering any body with half a brain can trace these guys if the're riding around in high tech vehicles. I followed Chip into the skywagon after he explained the virus to me. Chip and Dashia showed a brief but not subtle amount of affection.Guess there together, I might be able to use that as leverage if the need arises.

Anna was snuggled up in a blanket with her new baby foal, Red eye would have payed a fortune for these two. But mothers got plans that I would prefer not crossing. Dashia even offered to be the godmother of the little foal, for pete sake she only met Anna for a couple of hours at best. I guess I could understand pegasus underneath the skies wanting to stick together. What peaked my interest however was Dashia mentioned there was security issues with her home, I wouldn't think much of it if her home wasn't a thunderhead. "I guess we gotta find a way to solve this security problem if your family is gonna study our little virus. I suggest Chip stay while you and me go solved the problem." I said checking my guns current condition, armor piercing rounds are gonna be necessary if we're dealing with state of the art turrets. I walked out back into the stupid rain, I noticed Dyna playing with rocks. Guess she ain't got anything better to do down here.

(Group 1)

"Are you coming along or not?" Xerath said to the group as he waited at the intersection of darkness and mist, his cybernetic design wasn't the best, however, he could see that Ezekiel and the rest were lagging a little, unlike them, his ability, or rather his cybernetics allowed him to map out the landscape through a form of echolocation. Darkness was the least of his concerns as it did not interrupt or scramble his systems.

Releasing Holding Bays (5)

"Hostiles detected!(3)" The ultra sentinel rolled out of its holding bay and activated its prismatic core, a faint glow radiated from the sentry as it pointed its main weapons at the few rats that lingered near the metal bay and opened fired, two of the rats instantly being vaporized, the ground hissed as it burned black. As for the other rat, the sentry's shoulder area opened up with an array of rockets and promptly fired two at the poor miscreant, there was nothing left of the rat, needless to say. The Sentry's red light turned green "No Hostiles Detected!" It boomed triumphantly and rolled around a little, scanning the area and mapping it out for its own intelligence. (The Sentry is in the portion of the ship that is dug into the ground, which would be farthest from the cockpit, where most of the population of the ship is at. The group would have easily heard the sentinel's weapons being discharged, and so would the pegasai of the ship.)

Dashia looks the direction of the sounds. "Buck me. The ship's ultra sentry just came online. that isn't good. Its friend/foe protocols were never finished. That isn't good for us."

Dashia looks worried. She knows that it can demolish smaller life forms like rats. But without a friend/foe system it is a very warranted enemy.

"I might be able to make a friend/foe code for it but need time we don't have." Dashia says as she is typing something on a key pad for her pipbuck.

"Hey bud, the three of us aren't exactly as blessed as you," Crackshot snarked, sarcasm practically pouring from his mouth like a waterfall of grump, "Would it have killed you guys to install some lights or something, I can't see shit."

He kept close to Ezekiel, whose talisman provided an aura of light that could keep the trio from tripping over any loose wires or floor panels. He was still wary about the darkness around him, and was prepared to whip out a weapon at a moment's notice.

"I am forever in your debt for bringing my son into this world, and if I'm to leave it and we're still on good terms with no other worthy candidates, I would trust you with him then as I do now" Anna says to Dashia with a smile.

Anna sighed and looked at... Zeus. That was a name now, and it would take some getting use to calling him that instead of 'the foal'. He still looked at her, and he didn't seem so happy. Maybe it was because he seemed a little... sickly. Seeing as Anna was falling apart up to this point, and was pretty sick herself, it seemed it passed onto the little guy. He was going to need to have a close eye on him, regular feedings to get his weight up, and to make him stronger. There was the advantage of him being so small, all Anna needed to do was nurse him. There was no need to search for food for the baby, she just needed to keep herself in good health so that she could produce milk, and make sure there was no enemies lurking about when he was hungry since it was a pretty lengthy process.

"How much trouble can such a little pony cause? I'm sure I'll have no problem with him... I've seen plenty of mother's and their infants in the vault" Anna says. "And now I think I'm going to feed him. Why don't you guys go... I kinda want some privacy... and in a little bit I'll be ready to continue on. I'm feeling much, much better"

Dashia nods. "I will be right outside. If you need anything, I might be able to help."

Dashia let's chip go. She then taps the two and motions out side. She knows Anna needs to be alone with the foal.

She says, "Sorry but this is a personal matter for her. Let's give her some space."

Dashia posts up by the opening, using her wings to block as much view as she can.

From the texts Chip had read, well from what pages weren't missing he had an idea what Anna wanted privacy for. He nodded to the mare and left the sky wagon which Dashia then blocked the sight of Anna with her wings.

Chip wasn't sure what their next move would be and he wasn't sure what to do while Anna fed the foal. He looked to Dyna and saw she was playing with rocks, he smiled and walked up beside her and sat down. "So having fun?" He teased picking up a rock with his magic and tossing it in front of them.

Dyna was actually angry. She was tossing rocks out of anger and looked away from Chip. She turned away from him, tossing in another direction. "Nothing but rocks. Useless rocks. They are of no use, they only bring pain and suffering, they are hard and hurt you the first chance they get" she thought of her time on the rockfarm, with her family.
