His touch made her shudder But not wake. A slight gasp escapes her lips. She is definitely warm but not in an unpleasant way. "Chip...not yet...too much to do." She mumbles in her sleep. She seems to be having a dream. Her smile becomes a stupid grin. Seems her dream is a pleasant one.

Chip continued sitting at Dashia's side looking through the darkness while listening for anything that sounded like footsteps. When suddenly Dashia spoke in her sleep saying something about him. He raised his brow at her comment curious what she was dreaming about that would cause her to make such a comment.

Chip disregarded her sleep talking and brushed her mane with his hoof trying to make sure she remained comfortable.

Dashia stiffins slightly and let's out a gasp and a squeak at his movements. She relaxes but is slightly panting. She looks to be holding her hind leggs tighter to her then normal. As he is stroking her mane she lets of a purr of some kind and wraps her fore hooves around that limb turning to him. She however remains asleep.

(Oh boy trapped hoof now.)

As Chip was brushing her mane he found his hoof grabbed by Dashia who clamped her forelegs around his hoof, he let out a silent grunt from the surprise of being suddenly grabbed. He didn't attempt to pull himself free otherwise he'd wake her, Chip allowed her to keep his hoof in her possession. Chip was becoming curious about the different body language she was showing, it seemed something was bugging her even in her sleep.

(well yay for unicorn can still use a two handed weapon... but yeah he is trapped now lol... Damn it I forgot to detect traps :P)

Crackshot stared as the beans cooked slowly and pathetically in the fog.

"We should be near Manehattan now," he informed the others, keeping his ears open for any potential attackers, "usually gets pretty foggy around the outskirts. We'll camp out here till it's clearer, I'll keep watch."

He had Persuasion levitated in his magic, which he swung around to aim at the nothingness at every howl of the dangerous wildlife.

"Nopony should go anywhere alone in this weather. If you got a problem with pissing in public, you'll have to deal with it."

Ezekiel meditated for a good long while, laying out his cloak and sitting on it in a lotus stance. After he was done he joined Crackshot on the watch.

"Do you mind if I join you as you keep your vigil? Two sets of eyes will make it more simple." Ezekiel said as he faced in the opposite direction but still stood next to Crackshot.

Aile

"The beans look rather sad, anypony know a spell to make this fire a little more lively?" Aile asked to Crackshot and Ezekiel.

"I can't help but think we're awfully close to where we need to go, we followed the merchant's directions. it's a shame that the fog is making it impossible to locate the place." She sighed and moved closer to the fire-pit to get warmer, the weather was much too cold than what she was use to, and that was surprising even to her as she was a seasoned 'prospector'.

Four shadowy figures appeared off in the distance, only one of them bearing resemblance to a pony, brief and sudden roaring and exchange of gunfire could be heard, bright flashes accompanying the shots as the four fought in intense combat. The pony looking one dodged backwards and fired at one of the creatures and then charged forward to slash at the other two with what looked like an axe. The three creatures remained on the floor without moving, condensed and loud bellowing could be heard much closer now and the shadowy pony began running towards the encampment.

Crackshot perked up as Ezekiel emerged from his peculiar position. One that he seemed to enjoy adopting in a moment's peace and quiet. Some kind of ritual, maybe?

"Sure, knock yourself out," he shrugged. He would have preferred a night alone with his thoughts, but that's not to say he wouldn't enjoy the company. Plus, he felt like the two of them were really hitting it off.

He glanced over to Aile, and lifted Persuasion to point it at the fire. "I could shoot at it, see what that does." He suggested.

He lit up to alert at the all-too-familiar sound of gunfire, and watched as the silhouettes in the distance did battle. A lone pony one against a much more imposing beastly one.

And the pony won.

"That guy's doing alright for himself," he commented.

However, once he saw the silhouette was quickly closing in, he got to his hooves and pointed the shotgun in its direction.

Fog is the perfect cover for an assassin.

Dashia settles down but she doesn't let go for a while his hoove. She does let it go when she falls into a deep sleep. She looks like she can be woken. She does however look cute when she is asleep though. (charisma 7) She will sleep for 8 hours or until somepony wakes her.

Chip felt as his hoof released by Dashia and he pulled it back making sure he didn't wake Dashia. He looked down at the sleeping mare that was by his side. "She is really cute when she's sleeping, she has a sense of innocence about her that you don't see much when she's awake." He thought to himself returning his attention to the darkness of the cave.

Ezekiel pulled out Khalid, which quickly alighted in flames. He took a ready stance a little aways from Crackshot, not wanting to be in his way should he choose to fire nor so he himself would accidentally hit his friend should it come to violence.

"I don't like the sound of those creatures, they seem pissed that he killed their friends." Aile remarked as the roaring of the creatures intensified. She retreated from her side of the encampment, abandoning the pot of beans and sleeping materials to take her spot beside Ezekiel. She readied the shotgun she looted from the tank commander, unfortunately she only had two clips worth of shells and hoped she would make them count.

The figure closed in on the encampment, seven more creatures in pursuit behind it and enraged. The pony stood for a moment at the edge of the encampment, staring at Crackshot, Aile and Ezekiel with cybernetic eyes, its horn glowed momentarily and the fire went out, leaving only the light from Ezekiel's pendant to illuminate several feet in front of him.

"I think now's a good time to run?" Aile suggested with a tint of fear in her voice as the roaring of the creatures grew louder, their figures closing in on the encampment.

Crackshot narrowed his eyes as the figure approached the camp, staring back into its cybernetic eyes.

...was that-?

The fire suddenly went out, causing everypony to jump. His ears flicked as the roars of the beasts got closer.

"Everypony stay close to Ezekiel!" He ordered, glancing around and trying to listen for steps or breaths.

Ezekiel's talisman shone bright and Khalid's flame added to the glow.

"Be weary but sure my friends. As long as we stick together, we can defend. For though the night is dark and full of terrors, it is the demons who prey on us that are the errors. Mistakes, wretches, damned are those who oppose the righteous. We as friends are blessed by the Goddesses brightness!" Ezekiel spoke uncannily clear through the hilt of his weapon and the talisman shone like a star, with different hues of gold glow to blinding white.

Ezekiel's little speech had a big impact on Aile's morale and with the light of the talisman shining more brightly she stood resolutely, her magic firmly planted on the shotgun.

The creatures stood at the edge of the encampment, where the light shone least brightest but enough to illuminate their mutated and corrupted bodies. They hissed and clawed at the air, not really wanting to advance any further.

"Yeah, that's right you cowards! You ain't got crap on us!" Aile shouted at the creatures, which she could now identify as Radhogs, but something was amiss, they were much more...mutated and large than normal.

Larger hoofsteps coming from behind the seven medium-sized radhogs could be heard. An enourmous figure, almost three times as large as the radhogs appeared behind them, roaring loudly and almost directly at Aile. Her ears lowered at the roar, but stood firmly in place near Ezekiel, running was the last thing she wanted to do if she wanted to live another day.

Crackshot felt really empowered by Ezekiel's speech, and he cocked Persuasion as he readied for whatever was coming.

He didn't care what it was, he could take it on, right now, single-hoofed.

Which made him a little disappointed as the Radhogs began to scamper away from Ezekiel's talisman lighting up the area around them.

They did look larger than usual, though.

He kept his hooves firmly in place as the gigantic Radhog approached the trio, and he pointed his shotgun at it as he narrowed his eyes at its.

"You're a big motherfucker, aren't you?" He growled, "We're eating radhog tonight, it seems."

Ezekiel planted Khalid into the dirt and lowered his friend's weapon.

"Don't be so eager to spill blood Crackshot, we thought our enemy was mindful and foul, these creatures are not. Our faith and courage has been rewarded, now, let's see if I can't get this all sorted."

The shaman approached the boar slowly, crouching low as to appear unthreatening.

"I can hear and smell you here presence of nature, I'm glad to see those of your kind still here despite damage to the world so major."

"Are you mad Ezekiel?!" Aile exclaimed softly as he dug his weapon into the dirt and approached the creatures so casually and crouched to them. She fell silent and lowered her weapon as she felt the presence of a powerful spirit.

"Ahh, It is not often in which I am detected, however, your trespass displeases me so, Ambassador." The ancient spirit spoke slowly and directly at Ezekiel. The boars remained almost in a stasis, their angered expressions still stricken across their faces, however, they did not move at all.

"Why is it that you travel with hunters of my kin, is thou trying to test my resolve? It wasn't long ago when the lands burned and our creations corrupted. The spirit spoke with a troubled and angered voice, almost as if it was trying to convey the sorrow of all the nature spirits in the wasteland.

"They would only fight to defend themselves, my lord. My friends would rather spare blood than shed it, you have my word." Ezekiel genuflected before the herd. "To answer, Great One, your inquiry, we seek an end to those that kill and torture indiscriminately. Our foe commands a hex so vile in it's power, it causes spirits of venom to cower."

Crackshot lowered his shotgun, and watched as Ezekiel went to work. He remained aware, and sceptical, as the zebra began to talk to the giant radhog.

And then he started acting like it was talking back.

What the fuck.

He kept blinking between Ezekiel and the radhog, before eventually leaning toward Aile and whispering, "Is he alright? Need me to hit him?"

"Shh, he's communicating with a nature spirit.." Aile whispered in response to crackshot.

"It is good to hear that you and your hunters wish not to spill blood of my kin, however, we wish to not be involved with those you seek out, enough damage has been done to us." The spirit spoke with a tinge of fear in its voice, the virus had killed off much of the natural plant life and transformed it into something lifeless, not lifeless in the literal sense but in the spiritual sense.

(Group 2)

A pony wearing mostly tattered cloth and a broken set of goggles approached from behind Chip and Dashia and cocked his shotgun, pointing it at Chip's head, three more ponies stood behind him, two had what looked like kitchen knives and the other a near broken 9mm pistol.

"Can't you read the sign posted at the entrance? This is our home, I ain't afraid to blast your head clean off buster, wouldn't be the first time I killed some intruders!"  The pony with the shotgun spoke, just from his voice one would assume, and rightly so, he was much older than your normal wastelander and seemed to be the leader of the group of ponies and was just about done with ponies trespassing into his cave.

Dashia woke and attempts to whack the shotgun away from Chip with her tail blade. "Well Excuse me Mr. One, there was no sign. Two, don't point a gun at the friend of a mare going into her heat. You know as well as I do, she can get moody. Three, If you guys were smart you would have brought better weapons."

Dashia stands between the 4 and her friend. Her recharger riffle aimed for the leader. "I am one mare you don't wish to anger right now." She looks grouchy and grumpy at the moment.

(Group 2)

A little blue filly appeared behind the 4 ponies, she was wearing her biker goggles and looked at the newcomers with excitement. She wanted to jump up and down, but she realized the air was a bit tense and doing so might just begin a shooting party. So she approached slowly and silently, but remained behind the other ponies, she slowly removed her goggles from her eyes, revealing her emerald colored eyes. She looked like a little curios filly who knew nothing of what was going on.

After the shotgun was pulled from chips head he stood up and as soon as he was on all four hooves Dashia was already between him and the group of ponies. He drew his magnum ready to fire at any pony that made the wrong move. "We were merely seeking shelter from the storm outside." He said keeping his pistol fixed on the leader.

Chip then saw a pony walking through the group toward Dashia and he fixed his aim on the one approaching. "No sudden moves." He said using his magic to also take his goggles that had slid down his face in the chaos.

Crackshot blinked at Aile's response, and looked at Ezekiel sceptically.

His ears flicked as he did indeed hear something.

A voice out of nowhere. A peaceful, if fearful one.

Maybe the zebra's onto something.

He decided to keep quiet and allow Ezekiel to continue doing his thing. Hopefully, with some luck, they could get this 'spirit' as an ally of some kind.

The filly stopped as Chip aimed his pistol at her. She looked at him with tired eyes. She stood there still, not moving, waiting for the heat to die down or for all hell to break loose. She was used to standing still, even though she loved moving around. Working on a rockfarm had helped with that.
