Look at this and tell me they didn't buck this up one bit, its depressing and really kills the emotion when they remade this. If you're going to remake a game like this, don't half ass it, you complete the whole damn thing, including the facial expressions. When i look at this, i see no determination on Yuna's face whatsoever; its like looking at a doll! This is lazy and not very well done, the music was fine as it was and didn't need to be changed. The only thing animated is the eyes, "THE EYES"! 

 

I've had to point this out to many who argued the original sucked, well it doesn't; it had far more potential than this half done game. I'd know better than to leave a job half finished and just release it without fully examining it.

I personally enjoyed the ps3 remake of the game. I spent around 120 hours in it and had a blast fighting dark aeons that we couldn't do before. FFX is the only FF game I've ever played with voice acting and facial emotions so I never really paid attention to that aspect. Except that laughing scene really bugged the hell out of me, thank god for mute...

If you can look past it, then go ahead. Not saying you shouldn't get it, just might want to pay attention to what they did wrong.

I haven't actually played this game yet because my PS2 copy got stolen a long time ago, this is a first time playthrough for me.

 

I will have a look at it again.

I personally like the game, but in reality the only reason I played the remastered version is because I wanted sharper screencaps of the aeons' summoning circles so I could make them on photoshop; which worked really well for me.
