So I also added us to the map to give everyone our relative size compared to the map. Judging on the size of the yellow circles when only seven dogs are in the group

 

Our formation fits inside the red circle and each blue dot is our relative size to the dungeon.

So I'm thinking when we cut down the bigger monstrosity that is heading for us, his explosion will be more intense and because of blizzard becoming fatigued his ice dome will shatter from the explosion sending chunks of ice flying everywhere
