Tyra cocked her head at Spellbind's question, thinking if she'd heard that before.

 

"I believe I overheard gossip about it once," she answered with a nod, tapping her hoof against her head in thought, "that pony sounds like he does not have the greatest sense in fashion, though."

Rave was silent as he listened. He did not like talking about Canterlot, however, he was always ready to listen to any news from it. "A burglar in Canterlot? Why does that not surprise me. It is where most of the rich pompous ponies live.... including my sister" he thought.

violet was confident in rave's recovery. so she stayed, and ate her fill. "where is wilhelm? i made him some tea! i burned myself!" she looked at the mark on her foreleg. "'imma go look for him," she ate her last apple, and flew over the island, looking for wilhelm. a glint of sun  flashed in her eyes, and she flew down. she saw an idol with wilhelm's glasses on it. "what the...?" she also saw the chasm in front of her. she put two and two together. looking into the chasm, she called out "wilhelm? ya in there?"

Wilhelm sat up, rubbing the top of his head. He had a pounding headache, and he was bleeding slightly; he must have gotten hit when he fell down. "Yeah, I..I'm fine. Just a really.. bad headache." He forced a smile. "Though I can't see a foot in front of my own damn muzzle without my glasses...."

"When you're burgling a house, you can't really afford to be all flashy," stated Spellbind.

 

"Dusk had a good sense of fashion though," she said. "I'm not really one for fashion, but boy, did he look good in that suit..." She smiled and blushed as her gaze wandered aimlessly.

A smile started to creep up Rave's face. "I guess some pony has a crush for another pony. So, who is this Dusk?" he asked rather interested. "Must be a rather exiting pony" he offered. He started thinking of a pony working as a fashioner, wearing a top hat. He sniggered.

Tyra cocked her head, listening to the duo's conversation. Whoever this 'Dusk' pony was, he sounded rather charismatic, since Spellbind seemed completely smitten with the thought of him.

 

Which made her smirk.

"Oh yes, tell us about him," she added, raising an eyebrow.

Spellbind sighed in Rave's direction. "When you're me, you'll get little crushes on anypony. Not a burnign desire to be with them forever, just small likings. One pony, then the next."

 

"I do mean anypony," she said. "You see... I'm bisexual. I can like both mares and stallions."

Wilhelm snatched the idol back, furious. "That's a priceless artifact, no doubt! How could you possibly dream of..wait, thinking like an archaeologist, not a pirate." He took a closer look at the statue, analyzing its shape, forms, and the symbols carved on its surface. "With the right marketing, 3.5k bits. And I don't know where I am, but to get out, we'll need to go thataway." Wilhelm gestured with one hoof down the dark, moss-encrusted hallway ahead of the two.

Caramel was a bit bored since nopony was around. She decided to take a swim in the water. She stood on the edge of the ship and jumped with a big splash. She immediately regretted her decision since the water was ice cold. She kept swimming and eventually got used to the cold water. It has been a while since she swam, well besides trying to escape from the monster but she didn't think that one counted. The last time swam was probably with her sister and that was years ago.

"alright, but cant we just, i don't know, fly out?" she asked. she attempted it, but a force field knocked her back to the ground. she tried again, this time trying to break the force field with a punch. it hesitated, but then knocked her back, again. "welp, i guess we're going this way!" she said, walking down the hallway, hovering with her wings to avoid the tripwires on the ground. "ya coming, wilhelm?"

Tyra nodded, understanding Spellbind's situation. Bisexuality was a common thing back home, and it was not frowned upon to have same-gender relationships. She told the two exactly that.

 

She glanced around the room as she and Rave talked, realising that Caramel was not there.

"I shall go see where Caramel has gone," she grinned, making her leave and letting the two carry on.

 

She trotted out to the deck, ears perking up as she heard splashing from over the side. She glanced down and spotted Caramel in the water. She would go for help, but the pegasus did not look distressed. She was simply swimming.

 

"Hello, captain!" She called down to her, grinning with a wave, "May I join you?!"

Without even waiting for an answer, she removed her harness, vest and helmet, piling them up on the deck. With a joyful yell, she leapt over the rail and positioned herself for a dive near Caramel.

Rave looked at Tyra excusing herself from the conversation and then looked back at Spellbind. "Well then, I guess it is just you and me then. I do know many bisexual ponies, not friends though, I don't make a lot of those. So, how are you doing? Been feeling great?".

Rave didn't make a lot of friends. There was something they had in common to be friends. But thats just paradoxical...

 

Rave asked if she was feeling great. "Well, if great is meaning how I usually feel, then yeah," she replied, thinking of joining the other ponies for a swim. It must be a safe area if they were in it and still safe.

Rave noticed the look on Spellbind. "You should join them, have fun. Don't let boring old me keep you away from having fun. I will be fine". He fetched his black book with his magic and started reading. He looked up from the book at Spellbind and gave her a friendly blink of 'Go have fun'.

Spellbind felt a negative twinge upon Rave knowing what she was thinking. She felt bad when she offended or imposed upon somepony.

 

Still, she got up. "See ya later," she told him as she went off.

Spellbind looked over the deck to see the ponies below her. "How's the water down there?"

Tyra hit the water with a splash, re-emerging a few seconds later and shaking water off her face and mane.

"Ahh, much cooler than the water back home!" She laughed to Caramel, "Less ice, as well!"

 

She glanced up at the ship upon hearing Spellbind, and waved a hoof at her.

"It is comfortable!" She called back to her, "Why don't you join us!"

Spellbind moved over to a place where she would not hurt anypony by jumping in. "Stay clear," she warned nonetheless. She hesitated, but hen decided where else would she get an opportunity such as this? She jumped in...

 

It had been pretty warm, and the sudden coldness of the water had an odd but pleasant sensation from the sudden transition from hot to cold.

 

But of course...

 

"OHHH! OH DEAR GOSH! IT'S FREEZING! SAVE ME!" she screamed.

Tyra watched with a grin as Spellbind hopped into the water, and let out a laugh as she began splashing around and screaming at how cold the water was.

 

"Do not fret, my friend!" She called over, wondering if she'd hear her over her splashing, "Your body will get used to it quickly! It is really quite pleasant!"

Caramel gave a smile and laughed as both Tyra and Spellblind joined her in the water. "How nice for you to join me. The water feels great, don't ye think." she said as she dove underwater with her head. It was very refreshing. She opened her eyes as she looked at the beautiful underwater world. She swam back up for air.

"Well... a bit," replied Spellbind. She did still feel slightly uncomfortably chilly, but not nearly as much as when she had initially got in. It was easy to override the uncomfortable chilliness by focusing on what was comfortable. She watched Caramel go under.

Rave kept on reading. He was sad that he was no longer of any use to the others. "Did I not tell you that you are alone? What I have said is true. Everything I have said is true. You are alone in the nothingness". He sighed and started inspecting his crystals. He levitated a purple one. "A memory one..." he mumbled. He didn't know which memory it was, but he decided to check it out. He used his magic and his eyes went wide as he was completely still.

"Aye, 'tis!" Tyra practically yelled, nodding with a wide grin as she floated on the surface and began a little doggy paddle. She watched as Caramel submerged for a few moments, then reappeared.

 

She glanced over to Spellbind, still grinning. "You seem much more comfortable now! You get used to it rather quickly, don't you?"

Spellbind smiled. "Yeah..." she said. "Swimming pools are more appealing to me when it comes to swimming, but there's one thing the sea has that a swimming pool doesn't - a hugely expansive size."

 

She snickered, then some bubbles rippled directly behind her with a small rumbling sound...
