Rave was not entirely happy with Scarlett's help. He had been wanting the captain to help him to his bed since he wanted to talk more with her. Get to know some things. However, that didn't seem like a possibility right now. "Thank you very much, I will see myself to bed then" he said with a slightly annoyed look. He started walking away.

Noticing Raves look, she understood what he wanted. Looking over to Caramel "Go with him, my magics a little worn down after all this so he might need your help."

 

She weakens her levitation spell a little to make Rave stumble a little to prove to Caramel that he needs help. "I'll be up here if you need me. Once you get back I have some questions."

Rave fell down. He knew in fact that Scarlett had done this since he was all too familiar with magic. "She did not just.... she just did!!!!" he thought a bit annoyed. He was already lying on the ground since the stumble had been unexpected. He stood up again, with more difficulty than before.

Tyra snickered at what took place, and trotted over to Rave to help him back onto his hooves.

"Are you well, friend?" She grinned up at him, "How are you faring?"

 

She made sure he was rightly balanced and set before moving away from him and letting him go on his way.

Rave started to move again on his own. "I can do this, I can make my own way" he said with a red face, still a bit annoyed at Scarlett for helping and then not helping, which was kinda making him confused. He entered his own room and lied into his bed. He felt the pain coming again. "Guess I am alone again" he chuckled to himself and then coughed a little bit.

"Well alone I wouldn't say." Caramel said smirking at Rave. She had followed him below deck but he didnt notice it, it seemed. "If ye wanna be alone, I can go. I mean I got some other stuff to do around the ship anyways... I mean I can stay if you would like." Caramel smiled, getting confused by herself.

Rave noticed she was in his room. "I wouldn't want to be detaining you or be a bother.... but please stay..." he blushed. Had he really just asked the captain to do that? Rave couldn't really believe himself. He got a headache again and closed his eyes a bit in pain.

"Then I will stay." Caramel said smiling. She sat down next to the bed. She saw Rave closing his eyes. Not knowing if it was a good sign or not. "How are ye feeling? Ye still don't look so good, ." Caramel said as she laid her hoof on hi's. She felt worried, the effects of the poison should have worn off already.

"I sometimes feel better and sometimes feel worse. I guess not all of the poison has been drawn out of me, so it still holds effects on my body. If we had an antidote, this could be fixed in a few moments, but since we don't.... however, I feel better when--when---.... you are close" he said the last words a bit nervously and blushing. Another wave of pain struck Rave and he held Caramel's hoof with his own.

violet had stayed for a couple minutes, looking for something valuable, but upon finding nothing, flew back to the ship.

 

"what'd i miss?" she called out, "and hows rave doing? should i make another antidote?" she asked, "or is he doing okay...?"

Tyra decided it would be best to leave Rave and Caramel to themselves, so she departed from the room without a word.

She was certainly happy that there was some romance amongst the crew, and it involved the captain of all ponies!

 

She made her way up to the deck and leaned over the rail, staring over to the island. The ruins were on her mind.

More specifically, the bad feeling it gave her. It was like no other bad feeling she'd had before; it was actually bothering her.

 

Half of her wanted to go back and investigate the cause, the other half warned her to stay far away, since she knew what magic would do to her, especially dark magic.

"Maybe when we get back to shore, we can try to find an antidote. But for now there is not much I can do." Caramel said as she stood up. She slowly climbed into Rave's bed, so she laid next to him. "I hope this is close enough." Caramel said hugging Rave.

Rave was nodding, agreeing with her about the antidote, with his eyes closed when he felt a shift in the bed and hooves wrapped around him, hugging him. He opened his eyes and noticed Caramel lying next to him, hugging him. He blushed, feeling like a volcano, but smiled. "Yes, I think that will do" he smiled nervously, hugging her back. 

 

(Alrighty then).

Wilhelm whistled softly. "At last, they get a room." He smiled, and turned back to Scarlett. "Really? I would assume that that would require a precision magical talent, as well as practice to achieve high-efficiency mana usage." He inclined his head at her cutie mark. "Is that, in fact, your talent? Sorry if I'm prying, you just seem.. interesting, I suppose."

Wilhelm whistled softly. "At last, they get a room." He smiled, and turned back to Scarlett. "Really? Confused by Wilhelm's sudden interest in her she answers "Yea, you got my talent right. Precision magic. Though it didn't take and practice, it's something I just do. And no, it's ok, people often say I'm interesting."

 

Mumbling under her breath "Or things to that effect"

 

Rave fell down. He knew in fact that Scarlett had done this since he was all too familiar with magic. "She did not just.... she just did!!!!" he thought a bit annoyed. He was already lying on the ground since the stumble had been unexpected. He stood up again, with more difficulty than before.

 

Scarlett smirked and had hoped Caramel took the hint that she should go with him. After Rave went below decks by himself she sighed in frustration, but upon Caramel following him she nodded, and walked towards the side of the ship.

 

Seeing that she was no longer needed, and that none of them really knew where they were, she jumped off the ship onto land and began walking around trying to find something that could help her figure out where she was.

At Scarlett's disappearance and therefore end to their conversation, Wilhelm shrugged and went belowdecks to retrieve a stack of books- three, namely the Ars Demonica, Collected Works on Unifying Harmony Theory, and Airships: For the Military Too?. Balancing them precariously on his back, he trotted over to his well-worn sitting space, opened Collected Works, and began to read. It was rather peaceful; just the sound of the sea lapping at the shore, birdsong from the forest, and the dry crackle of turning pages.

While walking away Scarlett turned round again looking back at the ship. She began to think that maybe, just maybe, she could hitch a ride to somewhere where she could find a way back.

 

With all the magic she could work up, she was about to teleport into the cargo hold. She disappeared, and with another teleportation misjudgement she ended up somewhere in the nearby forrest. "Again, really."

(Well... I think i read the post properly a little bi too late... Im used to skimming stuff =p)

 

The gunpowder was wet... No way he could get another shot. Due to stating in such a moist enviroment he became too weak to shout back for help when he was called. Was this going to be the end? No way, he couldnt give up, he was the last decendent of the house of snow. All his forefathers died honorably... And him in a hole. No! He shook every single pec of gunpowder from his uniform and mane... Barely enough for a proper shot yet itd have to do. He loaded again and lifted the barrel. The flint struck the metal... Nothing. He drained the gunpowder and re-poured it. This time, the shot fired.

Startled by the sudden shot from very close to her, she spun around to see where it had come from and crouched into a defensive position. Looking around, she notices the hole that she had been in earlier. Shouting out in the direction of the hole she says "Is anypony there?"

Spellbind, wanting something to do and to get away from the scene between Caramel and Rave, for herself and them, she looked for Tyra and found her on the deck. She trotted up to her and joined her.

 

"The sea looks nice," she said not having much else she could say.

Tyra perked up and looked to see Spellbind standing next to her. She nodded in agreement.

"Aye, 'tis peaceful," she grinned, then looked to the island, "though, I have bad feelings about the ruins...and what dark magics it holds."

 

She looked back to Spellbind. "What do you propose is there?"

Spellbind thought for a few moments. "I'm not exactly sure, after all, why would I know? I wish I could have gone along with you... but that would have meant leaving Rave alone while he's injured."

 

"I remember a time when I was in a room with dark magic. My horn started reacting with it..."

Finally somebody...After clearing his voice a bit he spoke as loud as he could... Yet it still came out pretty weak.

"Indeed there is! A musket wouldnt fire itself now would it? If you could be ao kind and maybe... GET ME OUT OF THIS FORESAKEN HOLE... I shall be thankful."

Tyra looked to Spellbind, tilting her head.

"Is that so?" She muttered, blinking, "What was it like?"

 

She turned to look at the door leading to below deck, then back to Spellbind with a mischievous smirk.

"Shall we go and find out for ourselves what is down there?"

Finally somebody...After clearing his voice a bit he spoke as loud as he could... Yet it still came out pretty weak.

Shocked by the shouting and the fact that someone was in the hole, she looks over trying to see how far down the pony was. Noticing that he wasn't too far down, she wraps him in a levitation field. About half way up, she drops him a little bit by accident, yells "Sorry!" and pulls him up the rest of the way.

 

Exhausted, Scarlett sits on the ground; "Why am I having to use so much magic today..."

As soon as she heard Tyra's idea, Spellbind mentally and emotionally fought with herself. The two sides of her mind battled it out, causing her to have a breakdown...

 

Nah, this aint another emo moment. Her immediate answer was an equally mischevious yes.
