Looking down a sighing, she replies "Yes. I have seen it, but I do not know where it is from here. I was actually just on that ship. Your friend is quite badly poisoned."

"Yeah..." said Spellbind. "I'd better take extra precautions." She found a piece of rope and tied it around her horn, blocking the magical force. It could be seen that it hurt a bit but she saw it as necessary.

 

"What happened was," she said, putting her hat back on. "Dark spirits started to unleash and my magic did random things involuntarily."

She nodded at her explanation, and listened to Violet as she landed next to them.

"Aye, I have a feeling Rave is plagued by such a force," she nodded, then glanced to the island, "shall we go forth and trek through the ruins?"

Scarlett grabs the musket with her magic, and spins it. While in the spin the musket balls all fly into the air, stepping forward and bringing the musket to her side, the ammo falls back in and she reloads it and points it back in the sky.

"It is necessary," said Spellbind, wincing a bit from the rope and holding onto it but not loosen it. "Crazy things will happen if I let the magic in my deformed horn react with the dark magic of that area. And as for the bit about it being painful... well, it's only Spellbind, so it doesn't matter."

(The gunpowder wouldve flown off from the first spin... And muskets arent equestrian are they =p)

He says as he loads it properly, ramming the cartrige down the barrel, pouring the powder from his pouch and locking the flint,

"Is a millitary weapon with fatal uses."

He aims for a thin branch and fires, the branch falls clean off.

"And in the hooves of a trained soldier, a unstoppable killing mechanism."

Scarlett listened intently to the story, and then replied. "The history of Equestria isn't exactly a talking point form where I come from, not that there's much talking any way. I mean this right now is technically history for me." she abruptly continues "I mean we're making history right now. I mean, uhh, nevermind."

 

Going back to the subject of magic; "By rid themselves of their magic, I'm assuming they meant get rid of the ability to harness it. Magic is a form of energy, and energy cannot be created or destroyed. If you are a unicorn, then you do have magic. You might just not be able to access it."

Caramel woke up after sleeping in Rave's hoofs for a long time. "Rave? Are ye awake?" She said softly. No response. Caramel got out of bed, trying her best not to wake Rave. She sneaked out of the room and walked above deck. "Good morning everypony." Caramel said with a smile.

Rave woke up later to find Caramel gone. He had not really talked with her, so he felt kinda sad. However, he pushed that thought away. He got up, feeling a bit better and sat by his table and started looking at his maps. Inspecting them. He tried to find something about the ruins. Perhaps there was some information that he had missed.
