After hearing somepony's shot, Assassin immediately woke up from her nap. She realised another pony went missing. "Where is this thief? Did somepony helped him escape? And not me?!". Assassin frowned and reloaded her pistol. She aimed it at the sky, firing another shot.

Caramel saw Tyra, Spellblind and Violet walking away. "Hold on there, lets not run of just like that. We already don't know where Lordy or Assasin are, I don't wanna lose you too." Caramel said with a serious tone. "I'm getting tired of everypony running off. We need to stick together." Caramel said a bit angry. "We can explore the ruins after everypony is back."

Still walking, Scarlett looks up notices the position of the sun in sky through the trees. "It's getting late, it's nearly dark. We need to find shelter of some sort-"

 

Almost cutting short of her own words "Wait, I just realized something. All the other ponies of that crew I found in pairs. And in a place like this, it's understandable. So, this leads me to ask you this"; she cocks her head back to where the hole was, "why weren't you with somepony?"

Caramel saw Tyra, Spellblind and Violet walking away. "Hold on there, lets not run of just like that. We already don't know where Lordy or Assasin are, I don't wanna lose you too." Tyra perked up as she spotted Caramel approaching her group, telling them not to wander off.

"I apologise," she said, bowing her head, "I was overzealous and it seemed to rub off on Spellbind and Violet, I am the one at fault."

 

She glanced over to the island again. "I was simply concerned about the dark presence we both felt when we met Scarlett."

Scarlett listened intently to the story, and then replied. "The history of Equestria isn't exactly a talking point form where I come from, not that there's much talking any way. I mean this right now is technically history for me." she abruptly continues "I mean we're making history right now. I mean, uhh, nevermind."

 

Going back to the subject of magic; "By rid themselves of their magic, I'm assuming they meant get rid of the ability to harness it. Magic is a form of energy, and energy cannot be created or destroyed. If you are a unicorn, then you do have magic. You might just not be able to access it."

"If you dont mind me asking... Where exactly are you from?"

 

He then had a little brain freeze... There was something he forgot... Oh... He remembered...

"I understand, I'm concerned about it too. Not just the ruins, the whole island has a weird vibe. Still, I don't want us to get separated. Best that you three return back to the ship. Maybe there is still something to drink." Caramel said looking at the sky that was turning dark. "Has anypony seen Scarlett, the mare we found in the ruins? I guess I gotta look for her too. I'll head out and look for them." Caramel started walking towards the forest.

Laughing she says "Oh my god you forgot the person you were partnered with from the crew! Oh I have to see this reaction when we find your partner"

 

Scarlett managed to stop laughing and turns around "Come on, let's go get your friend from that god forsaken hole"

Rave knew that it was getting late, however, he wanted to work a little bit harder. He was checking ancient scrolls, old warnings about the ruins. He saw information about the treasure and it's previous owner. "That is interesting, Cara--- I mean the Captain would certainly want to know this". He looked a bit more at it. He frowned. "This does not look that good". He was not feeling hungry, so he did not go to get himself something to eat, even though his stomach told him to do so.

She turned wide-eyed as she spotted Caramel returning to the ruins on her own.

"Wait!" She called out, and galloped over to stand before her, "You are not going in alone, are you?! One of us should accompany you, or better yet, we should all come!"

Laughing she says "Oh my god you forgot the person you were partnered with from the crew! Oh I have to see this reaction when we find your partner"

Confused but still walking towards the hole Scarlett says "What do you mean the other bunch? Do you mean the rest of the crew on that ship?"

 

Not a moment later they reach the hole. Looking down into the hole with no visability due to it being night she shouts "Hey, is anypony down there?"

"No, please. I will be fine. I'm not going to those ruins, I'm just going to look for Scarlett and the others. Please go back to the ship, start preparing for the ruins. I'll come back, I promise." Caramel said with a smile. "Don't worry, If anything goes wrong, I'll let you know." Caramel started walking towards the woods again.

 

Tyra let out a sigh, but nodded. "Very well, but on the first sign that something is wrong, we will come running."

 

With that, she began walking back toward the ship, set on doing exactly what Caramel had told her to do.

 

Prepare to take on the ruins one more time.

"That ruthless band, yes thats exactly what i mean. Lock me in a cage... like an animal... I have never been so disgraced... They sail a ship, yet their seamanships is terrible... Lets not talk about their military skill... Just terrible."

He looks down the hole and shouts,

"Hey! You still down there?"

Spellbind had trust and faith in Caramel that she would be alright though she did still watch her as she headed off towards the woods.

 

She looked back at Tyra as they headed off towards the ship. "Oh fudgesicle, this day is going to be perfect! Those ruins must be so exciting and fascinating..." It was clear she was getting excited for the soon coming adventure.

Caramel heard some yelling in the distance as she was walking further into the forest. "That must be them." she thought as she started walking faster. "Lordy, Scarlett, Asssasin, anypony?" she yelled. She kept walking, faster every step, until she started running. It was getting darker so she wanted to get to them as fast as possible.

Rave came above decks, he was looking for the Captain. He spotted Spellbind and Tyra. He walked over to them. "Have you seen the captain? I am afraid I have some bad news for her about the Shipwreck" he said with a bit of frown. "It does not look really good. Or at least from what I have been able to gather". His stomach rumbled, but he just growled. "Eh, don't mind that".

Confused she asks "Were you a prisoner or something? I thought you said they you were a part of their crew."

 

"You are obviously a lot different than the others. Apart from the fact that you appear to be part of some military."

 

Quietly she says "Actually, do you know anything about the laws on weapons in Equestria?"

Tyra spotted Rave and nodded at his question.

"Aye, she has went into the jungle," she answered, pointing a hoof to the island, "I wanted to accompany her, but she insisted I return to the ship."

 

She tilted her head, wearing a look of concern when facing Rave. "You do not look well still, you should not try to return into the jungle."

 

She smirked. "At least, not alone."

Spellbind greeted Rave, then heard Tyra's sly remark whcih she said while smirking.

 

"Oh, nononono," she said. "We can't afford for Rave to get into trouble."

 

"Well... I wouldn't know if it's unsafe for him to go out there while he's unguarded. Shouldn't we wait and see what Caramel thinks?"

Caramel finally arrived at what looked like a whole. She saw two ponies standing next to it but it was getting darker so she couldn't see who they were. she couldn't see their faces. "Hello, who's there? Assassin? Scarlett? Lordy? It's me, Caramel." she said while stepping closer.

Caramel finally arrived at what looked like a whole. She saw two ponies standing next to it but it was getting darker so she couldn't see who they were. she couldn't see their faces. "Hello, who's there? Assassin? Scarlett? Lordy? It's me, Caramel." she said while stepping closer. 

 

Turning around she can make out the darkened figure of Captain Caramel. "Oh hello Cap! Apparently Lordy here left his little friend trapped in the hole when I came over to save him."

 

She begins turning to the hole again, but turns back and asks "How's Rave? Has the poison worn off yet?"

"How should i put this... I tries to borrow some food. I was going to leave something behind... But never had a chance. I... I used to be... Sergeant Lordy Snow of the Imperial army, 1st row 5th column 23rd regiment of the 5th division, 3rd army at your service. After an unfortunate incident i lost my way... And never returned. And no, i am totally clueless to the laws of this land."

When the first heard movement, Lordy instinctively lifted his weapon but after hearing a voice lowered it back down.

"Um... Yeah... We're here"

Rave looked at Spellbind, his face a bit red. "I--I--I don't need any protection. I am perfectly capable of protecting myself. I know how to fight with magic. I am a student of dark magic" he realized what he had just said, and made a worried face. "And perhaps the Captain will need my help, I mean, I know the way, since I have studied the maps".

Upon his mention of dark magic, Tyra raised an eyebrow.

 

I knew it. She thought.

 

"Well, in any case, you are still recovering from poisoning," she nodded, "but, if you insist on travelling to the island, somepony should accompany you. I will let you decide on who."
