Scarlett almost literally facehoofs at the comment about what Tyra thought the tube was full of. "No, that's not what the tube is..."

 

"Oh thank Luna, Caramel knows what's going on!" Scarlett says with a look of relief on her face.

 

She sarcastically continues "Everypony's a genius"

 

"It is strange," Tyra commented, sniffing at the tube some more, "Why would you put rum in such a small thing? Surely it would be much better in a flagon, or even a tankard!

 

Caramel climbed up the table, raising her glass to get everypony's attention. "Excuse me, Mares and Gentlecolts, Could I have yer attention please? I would like to make a toast to this incredible adventure we all have been through together." Caramel said looking around the room.

 

She perked up upon hearing Caramel's announcement, and grinned as she joined the others at the table, squishing herself in.

"Aye, a grand idea!" She yelled, "It was not the largest adventure, but it will surely be one to speak of in legend!"

"I will agree that it wsa truly an ...enjoyable experience... Except for the circumstances of our meeting... and an unwanted bath i took. All I wish to say is although of the ubfriendly meeting we had... with the unpleasant experience of a cage... What I'm trying to convey is, although i didnt really speak to that many of you. What I can say is, I salute our captain... for bringing us back on land... in once piece. Tyra, for being a suppporting companion in a time of need. And Scarlett for being one a great conversation partner... as long as he doesnt ... telep.... move you away." he says with a smile, " I consider we all depart as friends."

Scarlett smirks and does a mock whine "Oh, but I'm so good at teleporting other ponies away!"

 

Back to normal, Scarlett says "It has been fun. I may not have known you all for long, but from the time I have been with you, it's been fun! Thanks for accepting me, considering that I am, well, not from around here"

Tyra couldn't help but put on a wide goofy grin at that. She raised her mug to have her say when Scarlett was finished.

"This was my first experience adventuring as a member of a pirate crew," She explained, and smiled to her friends, "and from how our adventure went, I would not hesitate to do it again!"

 

She looked around the ponies at the table. "The gods have truly blessed me with the chance to meet such incredible friends, and I will make sure that you are all welcomed to my home if you are visiting!"

 

That included Spellbind. Despite their argument before, she still considered her a friend.

Spellbind had been in her own world, isolated from what was going on around her, sobbing on the inside, and then she looked up at Caramel who wanted to make a toast to the adventure. She ignored it and looked around the room aimlessly, drinking down her soda.

Rave looked up at her and smiled. 

 

"Aye" he said for the first time. "This has been a good adventure. Although we did not succeed with our plans, we still came back in one piece and have become the wiser. This experience will surely be useful in the future. Thank you Captain, for such a marvelous journey" he levitated a glass up to salute her. "And all of you here, you have added to my experience, I am not used to being around a team in my own adventures, but it has been an honor knowing you". 

Rave glanced to the doorway, where a bulky blue unicorn with a scarred face stood. He nodded to Rave and then left the tavern. Rave would have to leave soon.

Caramel said while trying to hold her tears. "I will turn myself in tomorrow and some of you, I may never see again. So I just wanted to say that I love all of you!" "I shall miss you, my friend!" She declared, "If you ever visit Trotstheim, tell the guards that you know me, and you will be welcomed there!"

Rave levitated his drink up. "To the family" he chuckled and downed down his own drink. 

 

"I will be traveling around, trust me, when you need me, I will show up, I have a tendency to show up at convenient times, hehe". He knew his brother was an impatient pony. He did not know what he wanted with him, but he would have to talk with him. His brother never visited him unless there was a reason to it.

Scarlett teleported a random drink from a nearby table, raised it up and said "To the family!" before taking a large swig, and teleporting it back.

 

"If any of you ever want to find me, well, I'll think of a way before we all have to leave eachother. It's been fun."

That is, unless you is a drunk Tyra or Violet. In that case, I'll probably bolt my doors and make extremely sure I didn't leave anything breakable around." He chuckled. "You both certainly do have a propensity for breaking stuff."

Wilhelm shuddered in mock fear, and raised his hooves in a gesture of surrender. "Please, not the cutlery! Cutlery is my greatest weakness!" He laughed lightly at his own joke and then turned back to his drink and book. At some point, he had also ordered a salad and had begun eating with gusto. "Hopefully, our travels won't take us too far apart; if you have another adventure, you'll have to count me in."

A small wooden tube appears in front of each of the ponies, "If you ever want to find me open these and the map will lead you to my home. Any of you are welcome in my place, and it will protect you from almost anything."

 

Scarlett drops the wooden tube in front of everypony and takes a big gulp of her drink, finishing it off.

"I am afraid you wouldn't understand" he gave her a warm smile and bowed in front of her. "Farewell, I hope I will meet you again" he had a bit of a sad look on his face, but he tried to quickly cover it up with a smile.

There was a heavy knock on the door, not a very kind one. Rave came to Caramel. "I know you are, I know that you all are. I love you. But..... I know this is just going to end, that you are going to give yourself in. I don't want to see that, I don't want to see you clapped in chains. It is something I don't want to see".

Caramel said pointing at the table where every pony was sitting. "And yer not leaving me without getting a kiss either." Caramel said with a smile. She kissed him and then hugged around him tight. "I'm gonna miss ye." Caramel said still hugging Rave, not ready to let go.

Rave stood there, he didn't want to leave. However, he knew he had to. He shot a smile to everypony else, waving at them. Then he went for the door. Outside stood a very irritated bulky, blue unicorn. "I have been waiting for you for like 2 days now you little gnat. Now let's get going, we have a lot of work ahead of us. The princesses are not going to overthrow themselves you know?". Rave sighed. "It is lovely to see you too brother" he closed the door behind him.

Caramel walked back to the table after Rave left. She was sad and yet happy. She was confused, that was for sure. "Alright, so Rave left, if anypony needs to be somewhere, please tell me now. I wanna know who is gonna be there when I turn myself in tomorrow. I don't wanna do this alone plus somepony is gotta take of the money." Caramel looked at everypony in the room, waiting for an answer.

Tyra watched as Caramel returned to the table, a hint of sadness on her face.

She looked at her with concern. Rave hadn't returned, and she was asking where they would all go after this.

 

"I am happy to travel with you and collect the money," She offered, smiling widely, then she perked up with an idea, "Perhaps I can use it to pay your...what is the word...'ball'?"
