"Oh no, of course not!" Tyra cried, blinking up at Icarus as they exited the tavern, "Though, if one were to challenge me, I would not hesitate to battle it." She added with a mischievous aside glance.

 

She looked around the stalls with Icarus, grinning as she saw kids running around with plastic weapons dressed in little costumes. Images of the outpost and her home came to mind.

 

"Where do you suppose they keep the dragons?" She inquired to Icarus, glancing around, "You would think they would be hard to miss..."

caliber had continued to do what he does best. which is namely, wandering around. he was sad for tyra, that axe really was a precious item. but he was worried his sword might be next. he touched it for comfort. but why would that mare need tyra's axe? being dis-armed wasnt her greatest weakness...that would be himself. he sighed angrily. why does that mare need to be shrouded in mystery?!

"I wouldnt doubt it. I bet you could wrestle it to the ground too." He said" the dragons are Probably in a secure area. you don't want them getting loose." Icarus responded. out of nowere,one of the little colts ran into his leg.

 

" Sorry mister" He said, frowning a bit.

 

" It's fine child, but, do you by chance know were the Dragons are ?" Icarus asked politely.

 

" Yeah, they are near the back of the fair I think" He said before running off.

 

"Well, I guess that's one place to start.....what would be considered the " back" of the fair ?" Icarus said, thinking a bit.

"I must admit, I have often fantasized about performing such a feat," Tyra smirked proudly, imagining herself standing tall over a defeated fifty-plus-foot dragon after fighting with naught but her bare hooves, "It would certainly be something to tell the foals back home!"

 

She listened as a colt explained where the dragons were.

"Many thanks, my young friend," she called to him as he scampered off, then tapped a hoof on her forehead in thought at Icarus's question, "Perhaps we should circle around outside the fair until we find the 'back'?"

Blizzard had awoke and saw the axe he had bought was gone, "*yawns, cracks neck* Huh Tyra took the axe I got her...  She took the axe?! Yes! I wonder where she is." He saw Tyra and Icarus walking and a colt running up to them, afterwards he ran up, "Hey...hey axe girl! Tyra! *catches up to them, panting* So I was wondering did you like your present?!" He asked with this expression:

Tyra smiled as Blizzard sprinted up to her and Icarus, looking incredibly excited. It was nice to hear him call her by her real name instead of just 'axe girl' for once.

 

"I did, my thanks, friend," she nodded, glancing back to the axe on her harness, "I fear nothing will replace the real one, but it shall do in the meantime. And I appreciate you putting my name on it!"

 

She grinned back to him. "Would you like to accompany us to see the dragons?"

Blizzard wore another silly bug eyed expression  , "Dragons?! Yees! Whoo! Let's go!" Then his voice went serious, "But on a serious note Tyra, I'm glad you're happy. And don't worry, as long as a Blizzard is made of Ice *points hoof to himself* I'm gonna get that axe back for ya. !" Then he went silly again, "Dragons!!! Dragons!!!Dragons!!! Let's go guys! *slips on a banana peel, dusts self off* Hehe, that didn't just happen, let's go!" he said as he pointed his hoof in a random direction, "Uh...where's the dragons guys?  "

caliber was still wanderin'. he remembered last time he was here. heh, it sure was a shock when he looked inside his bag, and found an element of harmony! but that was the past. he looked around. "maybe ill go see the dragons" he said to no-one. he started making his way to the dragon's den. last time he was here, he tried wrestling one. he lost, since he wasn't allowed to use his sword. but maybe this time's different.

And as the night was slowly passing by,town clock started to to ring when midnight comed,and one by one festival light started to disappear.One by one,slow but steady and in just a minutes Dragon bash was left in darkness.But it wasnt long,cople moments after lest light disappered,huge light appered in the sky,behaind clouds.The light was making circles around town for couple of minutes,before it stopped in one place.Loud roar could be heard,and light started to come down from behind clouds.It was fest,and in just moments our heroes could see crystal blue,transparent dragon head appearing from clouds.And as it got closer and closer our heroes could see its wings and body.And as he was about to crush in the town announcement could be heard "Shadow of the Dragon is here,show on fear!!" and as this was said dragon started to raise and fly around town.Light started to light up again and everything was getting back like it was before,onli dragon was still making circles around town...

As he walked out Ticktock couldn't help but wonder what the connection was between an axe and magic it made no sense it had to have been something to do with the owners but then again she so seamed twisted that she would get objects this way just for fun. It all didn't make sense, all he hoped was it did not have any horrific circumstances follow it.

Radiant heard a loud roar coming from outside the city, he got out of bed and walked up to his window peering outside. The entire fair had gone dark and when Radiant looked out where the roaring had come for came a huge transparent dragon.

 

As it near the town it pulled up relighting the festival and continued flying around the city. "Hmm... an Astral manifestation spell. Probably being sustained by several ponies somewhere in the festival." He assured himself before returning to bed laying back down.

 

As he laid down on his back looking up at the ceiling, he could feel a bit of energy had returned to him in the last few hours he had been resting. Even though his energy was slowly returning he still felt weak.

Tyra perked up as the lights around the fair darkened, making everything pitch black.

"What is going on?!" She yelped, readying the replacement axe on instinct, "An attack?!"

 

She looked up at the sky and saw the clouds coming together, and before long a huge, beautiful crystal dragon emerged from it, flying around the fair. Everypony present was in awe of the sight, herself included.

 

"Sleipnir's mane," She gasped, putting the weapon away, "Such a beautiful creature...!"

Ticktock looked up in awe saying "OH MY GOODNESS! A DRAGON A REAL DRAGON!" He calms down a little saying "This is a dream come true I have always wanted to see a dragon" Then on closer inspection it seems (to him) to be a magical projection. He then thinks to himself "Oh well a suppose its better than nothing"

" I am not sure if it as dragon Tyra.... it might be a projection" Icarus said watching it. It was a beautiful site. The blue creature dove and weaved around the sky. the fair seemed quiet, so Icarus assumed everyone must be looking up at the dragon projection as well. " If that is a projection, the ponies doing it must be very concentrated right now" Icarus said.

Blizzard was intrigued, "Yeah, you might be right doc, but dragons aren't exactly 'rare' around these parts so it just might be a real one. Who knows?" Blizzard was amazed by the dragon, even though it may or may not have been real, "*yawn* So what are you guys doing for the rest of the night? Gonna catch some sleep, or are ya gonna stay up? Tyra, doc?"

"Have you no sense of wonder?" Tyra joked, nudging Icarus gently, "Perhaps such creatures are rare, and this festival is so it may celebrate its beauty?"

 

She glanced over to blizzard. "I shall enjoy the festival some more. I wish to see what other attractions they offer here! Perhaps a drinking contest?" She suggested, smirking confidently. "I shall show these locals how to drink."

Blizzard was amazed, "Wow a drinking contest  ? You mean alcoholic drinks? Damn Tyra, you must have intestines of steel! I'd love to come and watch that. Maybe place a bet or two on you. I'd enter myself but I don't plan on not knowing where I end up waking up in the morning.   " So are we going back to the tavern for the contest?"

Ticktock walked over to Blizzard ,Tyra and Icarus he asked them "Hey guys what are you up to? Do you mind if I join in? Now I know I haven't been all that talky with you but I want that to change because I have only been with you a short time but I feel that if I really tried we could be super good friends. So hows that sound * Face Ticktock makes *"

Blizzard replied, "Sure join us rookie. Tyra said she was just about to enter a drinking contest at the tavern right Tyra?  I'm not sure where exactly it is, but Tyra's leading us there. Isn't that right axe girl? I wonder if the local ponies have intestines of steel too?  "

"Well gees thanks Blizzard no pony has ever been that nice to me before and it would be good to spend less time thinking about stuff and get my spirits up a bit" Said Ticktock In the happiest tone he had ever spoken in his life. The kindness of Everyone had made him unbelievably happy.

As Radiant was resting wind starts to blow and opened the window in his room.And with the wind comes in one letter with his initials R.S.The letter comed right near him before it dropped on floor....

So we interrogation some capter molten soldiers.We didnt got much from them but what we got may interest you.They say and i quote 'fast-talking, silver-tongued, snaked-nosed trickster from the city' convinced them join forces to form a Molten Alliance.That trickster said they can be unstoppable if combine fire might of flame legion and iron weapons from the D-dogs.Its not much but this is all we got from them.

caliber was watching the dragon. he had seen dragons, before, but this one was pretty. walking around, he came across the tavern. "hm?" he was a banner over the bar, that read 'drinking contest'. grinning to himself, he walked in. there were already two ponies going at it, so he'll wait his turn.

As his window was forcibly opened by the wind, Radiant got up to close it when a letter flew through the opening. He closed the window and walked back to pick up the letter.

 

Once he opened it he saw it was more information on the molten alliance. "Well that's not much help, but it sounds this miss S or whatever she goes by is behind it all." He said to himself as he noticed who sent the letter. "Z why is she part of the interrogation, there's something I don't trust about her. One she got here way to quickly after my letter was sent. Let alone anyone linked to Celestia wouldn't bark at a guard captain like that... another note "with love" several hours ago she was biting my head off. I can't trust this mare, she's hiding something."

 

Radiant set the letter in his bag and he went back to his bed lying down.

Blizzard led his little group back to the tavern and saw Caliber again, "hey bro, having a good time? Tyra here wants to enter that drinking contest and--" *notices Caliber signed up* "Oh my god!  Cal bro you're gonna enter?!   Sorry Tyra, but Cal here has you beat in eating/drinking. But I'd still like to see you two compete against each other. I just know Cal will win though!   "

Tyra snorted as she saw Caliber sign up for the drinking contest, and signed up herself.

 

"We shall see," she smirked, "My uncle is the drinking champion back home, and from the drinks I have had anywhere else, nothing comes close to his home-brewed Frostfang Mead!"

 

She narrowed her eyes to Caliber, still smirking in challenge. "Though, you are welcome to try."
