Blizzard conked himself on the head and said, "Oh shoot! I haven't told any of you yet have I? Anyway, I lived in the Frozen North as well, Crystal Empire to be exact. And I would always be searching around for things, you know? I couldn't keep my nose out of anything I didn't know about. I was just that curious and one night I snuck outta my house and found a strange crystal. I took it home to run tests on it and I couldn't get anything from it. Then one night, it became unstable, I touched it with my bare hooves, and then I had a vision as a blue aura coarsed my body. Within the vision, the crystal spirit told me that I was worthy enough to have my own ice powers, because everypony else who was after her crystal simply wanted to sell her. But for some reason she felt I deserved the powers that she once had. I don't know, but anyway after that, I had gotten my powers, and this was when I was a colt by the way, and I trained myself in the style of ice fighting until I could control them to the best of my ability and moved to Ponyville when I got older, and here I am! *dive rolls on the ground and shoots ice at a stump* The ice pone you see today! ....Sorry have I lost anypony? "

Red stared at him and looked around at each pony slowly. "Wow, you guys are weird," she said, which she would not have said when she was not getting drunk. She took another gulp. She noticed suddenly the mug was empty. What a rip-off. She ordered another and asked, "so, have you guys fought Alicorn the Scarlet before?" She asked.

As Blizzard told his story Ticktocks jaw dropped  "You got your power from a crystal spirit I have only heard of them in stories but to actual know a pony who has met one is amazing. Do you still have the crystal Is you do can I have it I would love to study it  !"

"I have heard stories of such a spirit," Tyra nodded, after listening intently as she finished her mead and ordered a refill, "but never of anypony actually receiving its blessing!"

 

Perhaps Blizzard is not as reckless as she thought. Which would really be the pot calling the kettle black.

 

She took a swig of her refill and tilted her head at Red's question. "I have not, but to have a title like 'The Scarlet'...I would love to challenge this Alicorn one day!"

 

The stronger drink was indeed starting to effect her too.

Blizzard laughed when he heard Red talk, "Haha. You're slurry Red. And about that evil woman, yes, she's a real force to be reckoned with. You don't wanna buck with her, she's been the one who's been giving us problems since we started this mission, isn't that right guys? And sorry Ticktock, but the crystal completely disappeared after I touched it. Sorry. "

"Crystal interesting," Red said. She received her cider. She bit into the mug, quickly realized her mistake and began chugging again. "Not slurry!" She said defensively. "What's your mission? I'm not sure I've heard it yet." She asked, changing the subject. She had to concentrate very hard to get the words out correctly. Perhaps she was getting a tad tipsy...

Ticktock was a little dis-heartened but also amused at Tyra and Red "Hahaha you to are starting to get drunk if I were you i'd stop while I were a head" Ironically enough as he said this Ticktock had a gulp of strong cider and his speech had become a bit slurry as well.

caliber was still laying his head on the side of the bar. "im hungry..." he said. he looked up at tyra, and red. "oh...and could i see your sword, per chance?" he asked. "i always like comparing swords to my own."

 

he yawned. then started ordering food. it was a full five minutes before he was done.

"You do not tell a mare when to stop drinking!" Tyra slurred, waving a hoof in Ticktock's general direction, and put that hoof around Red, "If we need to stop...we will stop!"

 

She cackled and took a larger swig of mead.

"But now, we will drink! And celebrate another victory!" Another swig went down, and she curiously shook the mug to find it was empty again.

 

Another refill was ordered.

Blizzard held a mug up, "And THAT'S why non alcoholic cider is best because there's no aforementioned repercussions! Haha! Literally no risks. You may say, 'No risk, no reward.' Bu I say, no unnecessary risk, no potential for losing your liver am I right guys?" He drank more cider.

Ticktock smirked and said with a slurry in his voice "Really well then lets test that shall we let us have a drinking contest you verses me loser pays for the drinks deal?" Ticktock then extended a rather shaky hoof and waited for a response from Tyra.

Icarus' ears perked up when he heard the words "Drinking Contest". " Oh no " he thought" I dont need anyone else drinking themselves into a temporary coma" He thought. He entered the Tavern and looked to everyone. " Excuse my absence,  I hope you have all been having fun" he said, smiling under his mask. "I am glad to see you fit in well Red. PErhapse we should have a chat some time" he said.

the bartender slid a dozen beers to caliber. " 'imma get drunk, and go to sleep..." he said, before downing them, along with food that was being brought to him at a steady pace. 

 

'and i should try to get my sword's polish in.' he thought. '...nah. tomorrow.'

 

"oy, tyra." he called out, "you want some food? i dont think i can eat all this..." he waved around a chunk of cheese.

Tyra smirked widely at the challenge Ticktock presented to her, and she waved her other hoof in his face.

 

"You are on!" She declared, "I will warm you though; outside Trotstheim, I an undef...undefeat...I always win!"

 

She blinked as Caliber got her attention and waved a hunk of cheese in her face. She answered by grabbing it in her mouth and swallowing it.

"My thanks!" She hiccuped, taking another swig of mead.

Ticktock smiled "Your on although you best be ready to pay up when I am tri.. Try .. when I win." Ticktock orders a dozen of the largest and most potent cider the bar has and the he starts drinking and drinking "Like... to see ya...  beat me now ..." Ticktock had never been drunk before but he did seem rather good at it.

"No," she said to Caliber, "you can NOT see my sword," she gave a rather disgusting burp and quickly covered her mouth. "I'm not drunk!" She said defensively to Icarus when he spoke to her. "I'm not! You're lying! You're drunk! I don't *hiccup* associate with drunks." Her head proceeded to bang against the table as she fell fast asleep.

"Hey, don't fall asleep," Tyra whined, nudging Red gently, "you cannot leave your sister in arms alone in the battle!"

 

She saw the cider arrive, and grabbed a bottle.

"Very well, I shall win this...for both of us!" She declared, and began downing the alcohol as fast as she possibly could.

Blizzard's jaw dropped and he simply said, "I think we might need some medical experts here soon. It seems like somepony may or may not suffer from alcohol poisoning soon. But if it makes you feel any better Tyra, if you pass out, you can count on me to lift you onto my back to the medical ponies. You too Red, if I notice you....not holding up that well, I'll carry you all the way to the doctors myself if I have to."

Red snapped up, grabbing a bottle. She slammed Caliber over the head with it. "I'm not short!" She hollered. "Don't call me Little! I'm not little! I'm Red! My mother--" she stopped abruptly. "my mother was drunk!" She said defensively. Her head whipped to Ice Blizzard and she banged the broken bottle over his head, too. "I'm not short! You can't carry me, because I'm not little!" Then she banged the extremely shattered bottle over Tyra's head. "Don't touch me, you nincompoop!" She proceeded to drink from the bottle, which proved problematic, due to the fact that the bottle was empty as it had all spilled out the broken end.

Blizzard got up from his seat, since he knew there was nowhere this could go but violent, "I'm gonna step outside for a bit. See you guys later when you're stable." He got up and sat outside on a stump to read his book, "Hmm, Red seems like a cool teammate. I just hope she sobers up soon because we gotta get going eventually."

caliber got up when he was hit in the head. he looked furious. 

 

"what do you think your doing!?" he yelled, as he grabbed a pool stick. he broke over her head. "your lucky im not slicing your legs off!"

 

he was looking around for another pool stick to break over her head. he found one, and started making his way back to red, getting ready to swing.

 

he was gonna keep at it until she was knocked out.

Tyra perked up as Red suddenly came to life, assaulting everyone near her with a bottle while screaming about not calling her short. She simply blinked when she was struck with the shattered bottletop.

 

"Awww, why can I not touch you?!" She whined, not even realising her new ally's trying to drink from a broken bottle, and wrapped her forelegs around her in a close hug, "Let me touch you!"

She began nuzzling her cheek, her lack of understanding personal space on full display once again.

"Get away from me, you freaks!" Red said. She slapped Tyra and jumped to her feet. "Buck!" She swore when Caliber broke the pool stick over her head. She was still rubbing her head when she saw him coming at her with the other. She jumped at him and began punching him in the face.

Blizzard heard what happened and jumped up with impulse, "No ya don't! Multi freeze!" Blizzard froze everypony solid in a block of ice, "*sigh* this is the SECOND time I've had to do this. I can't just let you guys kill each other over something stupid. Now stay calm, while the ice cools your heads and you can cool off and regain sanity."

caliber rolled back when she jumped on him, and used his hind legs to kick her in the stomach across the bar. caliber got back up, and picked up a chair, and threw it at her. "your going down!" he yelled, as he picked up another one. but then he was frozen. "god dammit ice! LET ME OUT!!!" he bellowed that last bit.

 

the bartender ran out.
