Red chuckled to herself at Ice. "I couldn't imagine what you would have wished for," she said seriously, but did not elaborate on her own 'wish'.

 

She looked at the sword she had given Caliber-- should she give it to some-pony to be worked on? It worked, but... it could be better. It could be easier to hold, and it could be a tad longer. But that would cost too much.

 

"Maybe I should 'upgrade' my blade," she said, watching Caliber swing her sword, "but it costs too much. I'll save up, and eventually buy an even better sword. But this sword suits me."

 

She glanced at Ticktock once as he said his piece. She agreed silently with him-- it was ridiculous. She didn't know why she had spent a perfectly good bit on a wish. After a moment, she decided it had been peer pressure. She didn't really regret it, though.

Blizzard stood up defensively, "No. You. Don't know what I wished for!" he said as his face becamee tinted with blushing before returning normal. "Hey I got an idea, why don't we go near the cliffs and look out to the horizon and watch maybe some birds and other forms of nature. A-a-a nature hike. Who's with me?" he said before making ice binoculars.

caliber stared at ice blizzard.

 

"dude."

 

he kept staring. 

 

"iv been hiking around nature almost all my life."

 

continued staring.

 

"iv seen just about every animal species there is. nature kinda lost it's luster after about four years."

 

he looked at red. "if we were in ponyville, id totally buy you a new sword." he tossed it back to her. "but, alas, my personal house-bank is in ponyville. im downright broke right now."

Ticktock felt kind of bad for Red and how she either wanted a new sword or wanted to upgrade her old one. Ticktock turned to her and said " Well then Red please allow me to either pay for an upgrade of a new sword for you and I wont exept no as an answer it will be a welcome gift."

Red face-hoofed as both Caliber and Ticktock offered to buy her a sword. It was nice of them-- but she didn't want to accept their charity. What could she ever give back to them, after all?

 

"Thank you, Ticktock, but I'll manage it on my own in time." She said to him. "I've always survived on my own, I can continue doing so. But I do appreciate it." Was she being blindly prideful? Maybe... but she didn't want to be indebted to someone.

 

"A nature hike sounds fun, I suppose," she said, frowning slightly. She had no idea what it would entail, though.

Ticktock began to walk off "Guys I will be back soon I have to go and tend to some stuff I will meat you back here a little later ok?" Ticktock had I little plan up his sleeve and it was I plan he was sure would not fail no matter what his plan would work that he was determined of.

Blizzard then got an idea, "Hey  Red, you're like a sister to us. Why don't we all pitch in and but you a new sword or pay for you to upgrade your sword for you. I mean heck why not? I've got extra bits to spare." he said with an excited smile on his face looking straight at Red.

"I thought we were going on a nature hike," Red grumbled, flushing again. "Listen, I really appreciate it, you guys..." oh great, she was getting all awkward again. She sighed, calming herself.

 

What type of sword would she get if she got a new one..?
 

She wasn't getting a new one, though. "I really appreciate it, but maybe after all this is over," she said, deciding to put it off. "I'd have to train with a new sword. It would take a long time of adjustment."

Ticktock began to walk off "Well guys have fun doing what ever you intend to do I will be back at night fall at the latest, also if you need a place to stay over night then feel free to make yourselves comfortable in my tower." Little silver copies of Ticktock's house key appear in front of everypony "Feel free to let yourselves in" Said Ticktock as he walked out of sight.

Blizzard understood Red's point of view. He knew himself that a sword would take getting used to, so he retracted his staement, "Don't worry, I see." he then turned to Caliber, "Ok Calibro. What do you suggest we do for fun next? Anything you wanna do? I mean we're in Canterlot you know."

 

"Gotcha Ticktock." he said as he put the key in his mane.

Red took the key from the air and stowed it in her knife pouch. "Thanks," she called after Ticktock.

 

She turned to Ice and Caliber. "We could do something fun," she said, "or, we could do something useful and train." she added, "which I think is what I am going to go do. This has been very enjoyable, but.." She needed to get stronger. If she spent this entire free day lollygagging-- which was annoyingly tempting-- then she wouldn't be in shape for their next fight. "Yeah," she finished awkwardly.

Sun was already passed most of the sky as Ticktovk left rest of team alone.And slow but stedy this day of rest was coming to the end.And one thing ower heroes dont know is thet this may be lest suny day for Equestria ponys,Scarlet preparation where almost finished and with them,fate of Equestria is locked.

After Ticktock left the group he went to the sword shop thinking that if Red didn't want a new sword while the threat of Scarlett was still looming then he would give her a sword after the adventure. Ticktock walked into the sword shop and bought a katana with a red handle he then went to the enchantment place and got it enchanted before getting three letters engraved on the handle in gold the letters being 'R E D' Ticktock smiled proud of what he did and went back home after about 2 hours at which point he wrapped the sword in red silk and placed it under his bed and he was sleeping within about 10 minuets.

Blizzard nodded his head at Red's notion to train, "Uh-huh ok. I see what you mean, if we wanna have our chance against this woman, we gotta gear ourselves up before we head out. I suggest you train with my brother Cal, Red. He's one of the best damn swords in Equestria, he'll help you out. Me on the other hoof, I'll be dancing my way into training...meet you both back at Tick's place later." he said as he began to walk away from Caliber and Red.

Red nodded. "Alright. See you, Ice." She watched him leave.

 

She turned to Caliber after Ice had left. "Do you have any good places to train?" She asked, taking back her sword and sheathing it. "I'm afraid I... don't know Canterlot very well. Where were you training earlier?"

"i was training on the castle grounds." he said simply, "rarely no-body goes there, so its very peaceful, and ya dont gotta worry about being interrupted." he said, as he started trotting towards the location he's talking about. "maybe ill pick up some supplies from the guard training facility." he added.

Red followed him. "I would imagine them being crowded... interesting," she commented. "What sort of supplies do you have in mind?" She asked, glancing up at him. Which, she reflected, was annoying in of itself-- if she wasn't so small, she wouldn't have to look up at ponies. She should pick up walking on her hind legs. Not that she was small! She wasn't! She probably hadn't finished growing yet. Which was what she had been telling herself for the past five years... but she mustn't lose hope!-- wait, why hadn't she wished to be larger when she wasted that bit in the fountain?

 

At this point, she wasn't even watching where she was going, so caught up in her own thoughts. Her ears were laying flat on her skull and she was glowering in front of her.

"now...your pretty small, so it might be hard to find some weights your size..." he said, poker-faced.

 

"maybe a size small...or maybe extra-small...red, whats your size?" he asked.

 

they were nearing a shop, in which caliber emptied out the rest of his bits, to buy some equipment. this included weighted saddles, and a couple dummies.

Red paused. "I'm not small," she said edgily, trying her very best not to lose her temper. It was alright-- Caliber probably had bad eyesight. Yes, yes, he had bad eyesight. She shouldn't bring that up, he was probably sensitive about his eyesight. And she knew what it was like to be sensitive about certain impediments. Not that she was small, of course.

 

She coughed slightly. "I'm medium size." Which was far beyond her-- for some reason, the medium size was always a bit too big, even though she was small. "Not small." She added for good measure.

While Caliber and Red were doing their thing, Blizzard was busy clearing his mind of distractions and getting himself ready to continue the fight. He sat alone near the egde of the Canterlot cliffs, looking out to the horizon, while closely clutching his grandfather's book, "A good warrior stays calm and focused. No room for distractions. No room for error. All skill..."

And as the night started to fall,couple of white pigins flyed aroumd the canterlot,looking for evrysingle one of our heroes.And as they seen one,one wohld fly to thet one and give him a letter with order of Whisper simbol.Letter "Are you interested in whispering apples?Meet my at my apple shop.Tybalt.

Ps Destroy this letter,same as lest time.Get creative."

Ticktock woke up to the sound of a pigeon hitting the window. Ticktock opened the window up and read the letter "Well they always like to be cryptically obvious. Anyways to the apple shop but first." Ticktock levitated the letter onto some kind of pedestal and I gold beam went up from the tower. "Ha sending stuff to the moon never get old." Chuckled Ticktock he then went to the apple store and waited.

caliber got the note in the middle of training. "oh? red, we better go." he said, as he stuffed it in his mouth, and swallowed it. 

 

hey, whatever works.

 

he walked over to the apple place, and sat down, sharpening his sword. "oh, hey tick." he said, "i gotta tell ya, red here is pretty fancy with a sword."

Blizzard saw the letter dropped in and read it. When the thing said get creative, he knew what to do, "One creative paper destroy coming up!" he balled the note up, froze it solid into an ice ball, and went to meet his team. When he got there, he showed it off, "Hey guys, check this out. Wanna know how you cool off a kitchen?" he took a baseball pitcher's position and threw the frozen paper ice ball so fast amd far, that it flew through the window of the bakery, and put out the furnace used to light it as the frozen note broke to pieces. "Hehehe! Direct shot!"

And as trio of our heroes got to meeting place,sun was already gone and moon was up.Our heroes could see there where no ponys annywhere onli the one dresed in red.He smaild an start walking to our heroes,and as he comed in loght our heroes could see it was Tybalt "So I see you are all right,how was your day?" Tybalt started.
