Tyra and Blizzard gazed over the edge next to Ice, and at their seemingly only means of escape. A leap of faith down onto the earth below.

 

Of course, neither of them were afraid - they had faced more dangerous things before, and they trusted Ticktock and Ice's abilities.

 

"We are ready, friend," Tyra confirmed to the stallion, "whenever you are!"

As Radiant hooves toched the ground, Scarlet was pushed bounced off of his armor and fell on the ground. But because Radiant tryed to save her with his levitation magic, her hit was not lethal but she did not get out with out geting hurt eather.

Scarlet coughed as she forced her self to stend up, but she was not able to stend up on her own so she just lened on Radiant. She looked in the way of the drill and said with week voice, thet almost sounded as she was whispering "Look up <cough> it is almost time for the fireworks."

 

 

Up hight in the air, in the Scarlet airship there were still three of our small heroes preparing to escape. As they were planing what to do lifeless voice in background contineued final countdown "..4,3,2.."

Ticktock took a deep breath "Ok guys just to warn you in order to keep the shield around all of us i'll need to drag you guys down with me." Ticktock then cast a solid purple bubble around him, Tyra, Blizzard and Ice "Now lets get going before you guys can process what I just said!" Ticktock then jumped, as he jumped the solid bubble would drag his companions down with him, but as long as they kept their composure then they would all get out of there alive.

Radiant took the collar back out and put it back on Scarlet's horn and lifted her back onto his back. He didn't respond to her and looked up only in concern of his allies who were still up in the ship. However he begun getting ready to assist them if they help with the shield, whether it be reinforcing the shield or helping with slowing it down.

Once Ticktock activated his shield, Ice was quickly ready to jump down with him, which he did. He didn't want to waste anymore time there, as the ice landing was ready for them when they needed it to land safely. "Let's blow this popsicle stand already, huh?"

Tyra and Blizzard watched as the sphere appeared around them, Ice and Ticktock. They braced themselves to jump out in time with the others, ready to escape.

 

"Let us waste no more time, and escape this dungeon before the witch can pull another trick!" She called to the others.

High above the ground, above the city thet was onces known as Canterlot lifeless voice was finishing its final countdown with one lest number "...1." This lest number could not be heard by annybody because at this point in time airship, thet just minutes ago was place of final battle for Canterlot, was now empty with no life with in it. And now onli the sound of silence could be heard true thos long and empty corridors.

 

But even with Scarlet chaptered, she achieved her goal. Masive dril thet was drilling in the midle of Canterlot for lest day and a half, found what it was looking for ,"Lay line". And the moment drill struck the pocked of magic energy under the Canterlot, one masive beam rose from the ground high above the earth and made the night sky above the Catherlot glowe like it was just the twlight and not midle of night. As the beam rose to the sky, it gone right true the midle of Scarlet airship, thet was spining in place and one by one of its masive parts broke and fall on the Catherlot, destorying even more of this already destoryed city in process. 

 

At this point ground around the drill, thet was desolated place filled with destoryed rock's, dead tress and ruins of houses started to glow with strong blue color. And then in just a moments one blue spark fired true out the ground towered the south part of the city, and as it started to fly ground around it started to break a litle. It was not inaf to create a hole in the ground but it was inaf to leave scare on the earth. As soon as the spark left the close close proximity of the drill, ground around the drill stoped glowing and insted green grass started to grove around the drill hole. But this phenomenon, of fast flora growing did not stoped just there, insted flora started to grow from all parts where the blue spark passed.

 

Blue spark, thet was flying true out the ground at an spead thet could not be folowed even by the fastest of pegasus left the borders of Cantherlot and contineu to fly towered the south leaveing beacutifull flora along its path. And after couple of moments it got lost on the south horizont.

 

 

 

Scarlet thet was onces again on Radiant back, smailed as the blue beam rose high above the ground into the sky above and asked Radiant true her week voice "Isnt in beautiful?"

As Ticktock was falling he took note of what the drill had done and that aftermath "Ok guys i think that maybe, just maybe Celestia's going to kill us." At that moment Ticktock's hoofs landed on the ground and the bubble dispersed. Ticktock turned to Scarlett "Well as sadistic as you are, you are correct. Sometimes I do so love the beauty of destruction."

Ice landed next to Ticktock, dusting himself off as the group had finally touched down onto the earth. It was then when he realized that none of this had gone to plan, and everything had been blown out of proportion. Ticktock was right. "Could be worse."

Tyra and Blizzard landed next to Ice, both shaking themselves off and watching the destruction play out before them. There was something about it that didn't sit right with the mare.

 

She gulped. "Something is telling me this is not how this plan was supposed to go, yes?"

Radiant glared back at the mare on his back. "Stay silent, you will pay for your crimes." He stated still looking to her. "No punishment will be too severe for what you've done." 

 

 

Once the others returned to the ground he looked to Ice Blizzard. "This is as worse as it can go for Canterlot, a ley line is a magical channel that radiates magic that unicorns and Alicorns can tap into to assist their magic which is why Canterlot has such a large unicorn population as well as why the royal sisters reside here. I do not know what will happened now that the magic has been released but it will not be good, especially if magic absorbing enemies like Tirek find out about the loose magic." He explained looking back up at the sky. "Canterlot will be weakened but we will persist, I will make sure of that."

"You should not wory about Tirek..." Scarlet said ignoring Radiant order to be silent "...or anny weekling like him for thet mater." She sighed and smailed "No one will harm you, this all have been done for greater good."

 

Our heroes should probably move towered one of the tree outposts around the battlefild as thet would be best place to secure Scarlet and end this war onces and for all.

"I find that hard to believe, all your words are laced with poison." Radiant said looking back to the others.

 

"We need to regroup with Princess Celestia, take responsibility for what happened to Canterlot." He said beginning to walk in the direction of Celestia's outpost, his eyes scanning the ruins of what use to be his home. "This is a nightmare, Canterlot use to be quite the sight, now it lies in rubble."

Tyra bit her lip as she saw what used to be Canterlot, and was now a lump of ruined buildings.

 

"Sleipnir's mane," she muttered, the wings on her helmet actually drooping along with her ears, "did... did we do all this...?"

 

Her voice was shaky, as she actual started to feel nervous. Had anypony gotten hurt? Was all that truly their fault?

 

Blizzard gave her owner a comforting lick on the cheek as she walked alongside her, but it didn't do an awful lot to cheer her up.

Ticktock gave a heavy sigh "We may as well go see Celestia, but i mean should we really be down hearted about this, sure Scarlett broke the ley line or something, and yes Canterlot's in shambles but it could have been worse, in my eyes we've saved a lot of lives today and if Celestia blames us for all this then  she's more dense than I thought."

 

Ticktock then made a mental note "Note to self when you see Celestia be prepared to run... fast!" Then Dark piped up "Yep nice call there kid."

And with thet our heroes, exhausted from the battle thet was behaind them at this point, moved towered the north city boarder and contineu to walk towered the north outpost.

 

As the norther outpost came into the vision of our heroes they could have noticed thet there were litle to no guard guarding it, probabls some were stil out in the Canterlot stoping the lest fights with Aetherblades.

 

Our heroes walked passed frst tent but guards were more ocupaide by helping injured and escorting refugies so they come close towered our heroes thet looked like they did not had anny big injures and so if they wanted to talk to the guards they would have to come close to them frst.

 

Or if they wanted to talk to the Princess Celestia they would have to make there way towered the middle of the outpost, and enter her big commanders tent.

Tyra entered the camp with the group, glancing around at the refugees. A pain began to form in her chest from the look of them.

 

"I hope none of them were from Canterlot," she murmured to her friends, "and I do not wish to see Celestia's reaction to what has happened, yes?"

 

Blizzard gave her master a reassuring lick on the cheek, feeling her bleakness.

Ice followed along with everyone back to the main settler camp. He sure didn't want to know what Celestia was going to say when she realized what had happened yet again. Unfortunately, there was no other option. "Doesn't look like we have much of a choice..."

Ticktock took a few moments to look around the camp "Well this is certainly depressing isn't it, they're moping around like someone took away all there money, who knows maybe a bit of humidity will teach those rich snobs a thing or two!"

 

Ticktock gave a heavy sigh "Well Tyra, if not from Canterlot then where would they come from, i'm afriad to say they are indeed from Canterlot."

Radiant looked around at the now homeless ponies feeling responsible for what had happened not being able to stop the mare that was now draped over his back. "I can't believe I failed." He murmured to himself before spinning around to the others. "You three may retreat to your tents to get some rest if you wish, It is my responsibility to defend Canterlot and I failed, this failure lies with me. So I will not ask you to face Princess Celestia after what has happened."

 

Radiant turned around again and continued forward toward Celestia's command tent, his heart beating slightly faster as he approached unsure of what Princess Celestia's reaction would be.

Celestia tent was on the same place as it was yesterday. But unlike yesterday as Radiant got closer and closer he did not hear anny loud arguing, but he did hear some voices from the inside, so by looks of it Celestia was in her tent with some one.

 

When Radiant, and if anny of other heroes decaid's to foolow him, enter the tent they would see thet Celestia was on one side of the tent in her armor a d thet Tybalt was next to the door entrance. Celestia was moving some maps of Canterlot around, and Tybalt was talking something. If they would to pay litle atrention to his words they would relaise he was talking about Order of Whispers - they probably had this conversation because Order's leader, Eir , was dead and there was no one to lead the Order.

Radiant took a breath before using his magic to pull aside the flaps of Celestia's tent, he then walked inside only to immediately stop as he came inside. The captain rose a hoof to his chest in a salute and then bowed before Celestia keepING his head lowered. "I apologize princess, I failed you and all of Canterlot. There was no way to shut down the drill before it reached the key line below Canterlot. I did manage to take the mastermind into custody, but I know this does not atone for my failure." He said regretfully keeping his head lowered.

 

He was not sure what their responses would be but he awaited them nonetheless.

Tyra blinked up at Radiant as he told the group they could rest if they wished, while he confronted Celestia alone. There was sadness in her eyes, but at the same time, a glint of defiance. She couldn't allow him to take all the responsibility.

 

"Blizzard, go and rest in that tent," she murmured to the ice wolf, and nodded to one of the tents. The wolf obediently trotted over and laid down in front of the tent.

 

The mare then followed Radiant inside to face Celestia, her head dipped as well. "Nay, we failed."

Ticktock watched Radiant then Tyra go into the tent and put shifted from left to right, contemplating what to do now "Kid in my opinion you should not enter that tent, i think there's a good thirty percent chance that you will not come out." Ticktock sighed and began muttering under his breath "As much as i hate to say it Dark, i ... agree with you." Ticktock then took a few steps away from the tent "If it's all the same to you lot I want to live, so i'll just um... keep the wolf company, yeah that's what i'll do." Ticktock then went up to Blizzard and gingerly took a seat next to him and chuckled nervously "Hey there... good... little... wolf."

As Radiant walked into the tent, talk betwene Tybalt and Celestia stoped and there eyes were pointed towered Captain of the Royal guard and his quait prisoner on his back. For the moment his prisoner was quait.

 

"There is no point looking at the past litle one..." Celestia started with soft voice "...What really matters is thet you two are alive and well." She smailed towered two brave heroes, at thet moment Tybalt cut in, with more serius tone "If you are not going to point at eliphanf in the room Princess, I will. What are you doing with thet scumbag on your back Captain?"

 

Scarlet just rolled her eyes as Tybalt addressed her as a scumbag.
