Radiant remaining at a distance continued focusing on his swords slicing every dog he could, him and Tyra were managing to keep them at bay again "Hopefully we can keep this up until Tybalt gets back. Both Tyra and I are on our last legs here." He said to himself and looked down the streets.

 

The entire street was lined with the bodies of the dogs while the north gate had mounds of bodies outside it. "So much death, lives should not be played with like this. Between Tyra and I a few hundred have been killed. Not to mention how many the others have killed." Radiant inhaled deeply and exhaled continuing to cut down any dogs that were going for any opening on Tyra.

Tyra hopped onto Radiant's back, using the momentum to cut through any dogs planning to flank him. Her smirk had returned, and her axe was thirsty for these monsters' blood once more. Plus, she was really enjoying the feeling of teamwork amongst herself and her fellow warrior.

 

"You should not have beaten me up so badly, demons," she taunted, slashing and bucking through every one she came close to, "Because we are going to drive you all back to whatever hell you spawned from!"

The moon have started to sad on this bloody and ratchet night,leaving the flames of the north to put them out themself.Our heroes where exhaust and hurt,from this Molten assault,they have barely standing and enemys where just keep rushing in.And in this lest minutes of night Hoelbrak was burning.
Red dawn started to appere on horisont,it started to shine on this sorrow day,red day.Death and destruction were supreme on the Crystal Mountains.Molten army atacked without warning or mercy and it wasnt ower yet,battle still rages forward.But the forces of good have started to reach cold north and with it Molten army was slowen down in its onslaught of terror.

Our heroes have been pushed back and the city have started to cramble,one street,one home at a time.The Hoelbrak was falling in the enemy hand.But as the enemies reach center of city wind from south started to pick up,and across whole city there could be herd mare voice "You heroes  relly know how to stop MY FUN......" and with the end of this sentence arrows started to rain on Molten army.Enemis was confused and started to fall back,and one black figure appeared on roof of tavern "Now its time to strike back at hart of our enemies.Show em  mercy as they showed us.Leave no one standing." From south part of town there could be herd "WHAAAAAAAAAA as ponys dressed in blue and red charged at molten army pushing em back to the walls and gates of town.....

Blizzard was grateful and pissed at the same time, "It's about time you got here! We have been dying! Dear Celestia! Uh, I mean thanks, but please don't keep us waiting longer than necessary next time. Now come on ponies! The assistance is here! We still got a chance, hit 'em with all we've got! ATAAAAAAACK!"

Icarus watched as enemies poured into the streets of the city. It was now time. On the several streets he had set up on, snow poured from the roofs onto the invaders, stunning them or snuffing their flames. In some streets, his smoke potions were activated by the heat of the enemy, popping the containers and releasing the the smoke, witch also acted as a flame retardant. The enemies of his sector, at this time, were confused and disorganized. And that is when, a hail of arrows fell upon the confused dogs. Icarus' gambit seemed to have payed off.

 

It was a counter attack of some kind !

As more ponies begun to flood the streets pushing back the enemy, Radiant let out a sigh of relief. "Thank Celestia, I've pushed myself far beyond my limits. Now I need to rest before I kill myself." He said as he collapsed into the snow to relax bringing his blades back sliding them in his bag. His body was missing patches of fur from all the fire and his burns were still seeping blood.

 

He could.tell Tyra was still ready to fight, he lifted his head. "Tyra it's time for us to fall back. Being a soldier now once the reinforcements arrive that's out chance to get out of the battle. I can tell you're exhausted so fall back that's an order!" He commanded standing up heading to the tavern.

Uniformed ponies began taking over the streets, effortlessly fighting back the invaders. Tyra panted and watched as the soldiers took on the dogs; much like Radiant, patches of her fur were missing thanks to the burns, but she still felt the urge to fight.

It would be much easier, and much more fun, with reinforcements!

 

She was about to act on it when Radiant called her back, demanding they return to the tavern and rest. Taking glances between him and the fight, she finally decided to obey him and dashed after him toward the tavern.

 

"Perhaps it is time we took a break," she called to him, "and my gear needs repairing!" She added, remembering that aside from her helmet, she was totally naked.

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant entered the tavern with Tyra following behind him. "I know how you feel not often I feel so exposed myself, having to stop using my armor to preserve my energy." He said walking up to the bar helping himself to more cider.

 

Once he had two mugs he left the tavern again to stand outside the door to keep watch to make sure no dogs manage to get into town and attack them when they relax.

Tyra walked in after Radiant to grab her broken gear. The tunic had almost completely burned through the back, and the harness straps were snapped and charred. She frowned; they were both made specially for her, and she really hoped they could get fixed.

 

She sat back outside with Radiant, grabbing a mug from him and taking a hearty drink of cider.

"Hopefully there is a repair store still standing when this is over," she commented, glancing up to the larger stallion, "I feel...strange, all unclothed like this."

 

She never could figure out why some pony civilisations, like Equestria, could live without at least one piece of clothing, but a foreigner commenting on local customs was not the smartest idea. She learned that the hard way.

Blizzard noticed his allies enter the tavern, "Yo wait for me! Dynamic Entry!" He said as he skated through the tavern door, "That was awesome! Oh man you should've seen me I was all like 'pew pew' with my ice beams and 'p-pow' with my punches and kicks. I love fighting! Don't you?!"

But then he needed some rest, "Ugh, I am tired! Call me whenever you may need me guys. I got a beautiful maga--O///O I mean need some rest. bye!" But before he could get upstairs, he saw Tybalt and decided to stay down, "Took you long enough. We could've been dead by the time you got here!"

Radiant looked at where had set his second mug, after Tyra took it. He had brought it out for himself, he looked forward again not really caring about the mug he is always happy to help an ally. "I like being unclothed, I feel unhindered. Although that's my preference, if it weren't for my armor spell I'd be wearing my guard armor probably." He said noticing that ponies were beginning to return to town now that the invasion was being pushed back.

As this trio taken well earn break from battle in tavern Tybalt walked in looking glorious in red armor,with black cape "I'm like your hero in red armor" with grin on his face he started "I see you done a great job here.Hhh.Onli half down was burned.Hahaha" Tybalt looked around "Where are the other two?They dont whant to take a break?" Tybalt than pulled pice of paper "You three come with my,we have made outpost not far from south gates.I will put put message on Tavern doors for other two to know where to find us." He than opened dore "Anny one need help geting up?"

Blizzard was indifferent, "Thanks but no thanks, dude, I can handle myself." He then tots outside and trips over a cooled lava rock. He turns around and says, "That didn't just happen. Now what are we waiting for? Come on let's go let's roll! Let's get movin'!" He then turned to Tyra and Raid, "Come on get up and move! Let's go let's go!"

Radiant stepped forward away from the door "we're fine, Just one second I need to.take care of something." Radiant said walking back into the Tavern and went up to the counter.

 

Once at the counter he refilled his mug and left a note along with 40 bits on the counter to cover what they had helped themselves to. He went back outside rejoining the others.

Tyra nodded, listening to Radiant as she watched the ponies driving back the dogs.

"It seems we are finally winning again," she grinned.

 

As Tybalt stepped in once again, he made another address for them to follow him somewhere. All this disappearing and then reappearing to tell them to do something was getting rather tiring.

 

"I need no help," she snorted at the stallion, getting onto her hooves, and glancing to her tattered equipment, "though, I will require a repair store..."

Blizzard decided to wait, "I'm gonna wait here for Caliber and Icarus, you guys go on ahead. They're probably gonna need somepony to tell them what just happened anyway." Blizzard then proceeds to wait for Caliber and Icarus, by sitting under a dead tree near the tavern.

"Its fine by my,i just think you whanted hot meal and cleen and quiet tent far from this burning battlefild." He than pointed to south gates "We are not far from gates,come whan ever you are ready".

Than to other two "Come,on the way you must tell my every thing about battle,im dieing to hear begining of your Legend..."

Blizzard then seizes the opportunity when they all leave, "Well since I'm waiting for Caliber and Icarus, I might as well get back to reading my Rarity magazine!   " But then he started to wonder, "Where are those two? I hope they get back soon, I don't wanna leave them hanging, especially out here by this partially destroyed town. Come on guys I know you made it." He then proceeds to read his magazine with no one around. "O///O *nosebleed"

OOC: I'm posting this to occur when you all are gone, just a heads up.

Radiant follows Tybalt south through the town with his mug of cider floating under his chin. He glances back at his saddle bad beginning to think on how he is running low on money having paid so much out the the tavern.

 

As they are walking Tybalt asks for details regarding their exploits. Radiant glancing at him taking a sip of his cider. "I'm not a pony who boasts," he says looking back to the north looking back at the streets lined with corpses all the way up up to the gates. "Besides what is brag worthy about cutting down hundreds if not thousands of lives. Even if they were attacking us the dogs were being controlled."

Icarus would soon arrive back to were the group had gathered. Underneath his mask, a wide smile had formed. Though he had been grossly outmatched, outgunned, and outnumbered, he had managed to delay and help destroy the enemy force with a simple yet cunning strategy. His traps had been a success, even if the did rob him of all his leftover smoke potions. 

 

"I see we have been victorious" Icarus said, " Even at such a large cost of life"

"It was them or the city," Tyra cut in, glancing up at Radiant as she carried her own mug in one hoof and her tattered gear on her back. Her harness just barely held onto her axe.

 

"If we had let these creatures did what was commanded of them, we would leave thousands of ponies without a home," she continued, nodding sagely, "besides, those creatures...they were not normal. No dog has blood made of lava."

 

She took a hearty swig of cider, and a smirk grew on her face. "And it was a glorious battle. The closest I have been in in a long time!"

Tybalt looked at Radiant "Well this isnt  boasting,evrything you say will be written down and put in Chantry of Secrets so out operatives in future can use this to know weaknesses of Molten army." He than pulled one book from his bag "See this?" he pointed at book "This is my legend,i stil dont have name for it but i was thinking something like Tybalt the lefthoof.When you get time you shoul read it have evryhintg.The rise,tragedy adventure and i hope you five." He laugh as he looked at his burn hoof.Than he skipped in front of our group as they reach south gates "At list tell my where there something.Unusual this sort of things must have something weird."

"There are many strange creatures in equestria, I am afraid that is not the most unusual. But we all seem to have come out of this with minimal injuries, though Caliber will need some medical attention when he arrives." Icarus said to Tyra.

 

She was right, the city would be destroyed without all of them there to defend it.  But luckily it had only been magically enhanced diamond dogs. Had they been true hellhounds as he feared at first, he was unsure how this battle would have gone. But none the less, he watched as everyone gathered.

Radiant sighed "I'm well aware of what was at stake, otherwise I wouldn't of cut down My share of dogs. I'm just saying more so that lives are not something that should be thrown away like this. The flame legion did this and they're at fault for all these dogs being corrupted and slaugtered." He said.looking into his cider. "It's unforgivable! On my honor as a captain of the guard, I will cut down the beast that is to blame for.these atrocities!"

 

Radiant stomped his hooves in the snow "... or die trying." He said grimly before taking another sip of his cider.

Radiant took another sip of his cider followed by another sigh "I will tell you of the weaknesses and different beast's we faced. If you want my.exploits you can ask Tyra. Otherwise sharing my exploits either way feels like.boasting." Radiant said as he begun filling in Tybalt about the dogs, the larger dog and then the huge monstrosity that explodes when it dies.

 

"That's what I have to say, unless Tyra has any other details that I missed."

Tyra nodded in agreement with Radiant; whatever dark forces that were behind those...demons, would be put down swiftly, and justly.

 

She let out a wide toothy grin at the mention of her name. Being part of a legend would bring great pride to her village, and especially her clan!

 

"I fear I will have to find at least a general store," she quickly frowned, glancing to her back, and the charred gear on it, "or hopefully somepony who can repair burned clothing. I would hate to lose something I have taken so far with me."
