Iwo Jima. A small little volcanic island located 700 miles away from mainland Tokyo and smells like sulfur. This little rock was barely heard of until February 19, 1945 when Royal Equestrian Marines conducted a daring amphibious assault on the island. This island was to be taken for 2 reasons. Radar on the island allowed for the enemy to spot our bombers and warn mainland Japan of an oncoming bombing and because once this island is taken it could be used as an airfield for bombers. With these reasons it was clear that the island would be of vital importance and should be taken. On February 19, 1945 the assault on Iwo Jima was kicked off with intense naval shelling before Celestia's marines started for the beach. When the 1st wave of marines landed the Japanese guns remained silent and allowed the marines to come ashore and move inland before opening up. Marines fell and died. Causalities were piling. It was a slaughter. Marines started to push inland and finally silenced the guns. The landing was over and know it was time to start the 35 day campaign to overtake this island.

 

Hello and welcome to my newest RP. It's been awhile since I've done an rp of my own and I thought you know maybe I should try making another one. Like some of my past ones this one is a WWII one. This one is set on the tiny little island of Iwo Jima. You will be playing as a marine of the Royal Equestrian Marine Corps, or REMC for short as you land and fight in the campaign to take this island. If you feel like joining just follow the signup like below.

I'm sorry but I can not allow you to have that weapon. As that the Gewehr is a German weapon there is no way to get it. If you're a scout sniper your issued weapon is a Springfield M1903A1. Fix these and I'll accept you into the rp.

The Thompson was issued to commissioned officers and NCOs. And yes if you want you can attach a bayonet to your M1.

I know they were commissioned to ncos and officers, it was common for a nco to have a thompson donesn't mean they alway's kept'm, (not trying to be hostile

It was common to take an enemy weapon as a souvenir, my great grandfather took a Japanese bayonet home

Well things like flags, knives, rank insignia cuffs, things like that it's a definite yes. But for keeping weapons like rifles and SMGs I'd prefer that you not use them unless your gun runs out of ammo and you're in a dire situation.

Excuse me, but could I use the A4 dedicated sniper variant with the Weaver telescopic sight? It seems more reasonable for the Designated Marksman role.
