Soul Flare 403 April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 It depends on your self control. For me, it would. I would buy a Rainbow Dash plushie and think "Hey, might as well get Applejack to go with her" then "But what about Twi, she's the main character after all" then "Well, I already got half of the mane 6, might as well get them all" and finally "But what are the mane 6 without some background ponies?" and so on. But that's just me. I am addictive like that :v 2 Hello everyone
Sceethe 704 April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 Wouldnt happen to someone like me, since i find the idea of collecting to be pointless. Even if i´d buy one, i personally would think something among the lines of "okay, and what am i gonna do with it now, besides looking at it for a couple of seconds, and then putting it on the shelf for eternity?" You should just look at your own personality and judge by that.

They aren't really used for much either besides sitting there and to be looked at. Who knows sometimes when your feeling down seeing your favorite pony may pick you back up. I kind of feel the same way Sceethe does, collecting isn't everyone's hobby. Trying to convince someone they should do that, its really up to the individual if they want to or not. I do mostly rock collections, so MLP related items wouldn't change my view of it. Twilight Frost 271 April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 Depends on the person. I have a few mlp toys and I want a few more lol.
ThatOneComrade 1,091 April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 You can get addicted to one toy just as you can get addicted to many. All that depends is how much self-control you have, and how deep you're willing to search your wallet. href="/monthly_02_2014/post-8308-0-69609200-1393191794.png">
Hopes and Memes 391 April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 I wish I had a room full of ponies, but so far I only have 2 posters, and 2 plastic... Model things. I just don't have any money. Amazing.
Suddenly Spiders 7 April 16, 2015 Share April 16, 2015 I wish I could have a room full of ponies as well. I at least have the money, but common sense prevents me from doing so because I move too much to make it easy.
Silver Letter 1,832 April 16, 2015 Share April 16, 2015 Would buying a toy lead to addictive behavior in the future? Well, if a person is prone to addition of a sort akin to hoarding then it could be possible. But I would claim that it is unlikely for most people to be a significant cause for worry. CC_Maud_Pie 6,431 April 16, 2015 Share April 16, 2015 (edited) Not for me because I don't have the money for buying all the toys I want yet. Plus, I mostly want plushies that are based off my favorite ponies and there are ponies that I'm not interested in buying. I'm also not into figures. Unless you are addicted to pony toys like some kids in the 90's were addicted to Beanie Babies, then it probably won't be an addiction because you said you just want a few of your favorites. Edited April 16, 2015 by CC_Maud_Pie All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.
