Explain where you're getting the magic to fuel this thing from please. At the end of everything it's too high tech and too far derived from show canon tor me personally to be comfortable with.

 

Not that such a thing cant exist, but it would make more sense as Lektra's implementation of Magitek to begin with rather than basically Steampunk running on magic powering it out of nowhere.

Either mana storage units (think capacitor/battery arrays), harmonic field reactors (drawing energy from the field that magic propagates through and draws energy from), ley lines (Ground-based foci for said harmonic field. Stronger than average.) or ambient atmospheric energy (present anywhere in Equestria, so yay).

 

Also, harmonic fields are named thanks to Unifying Harmony, which is this whole thing to do with why Equestria is so damned happy all the time, and gives reasons why alicorns and cutie marks and the elements of Harmony work/exist at all.

Ambient atmospheric energy makes more sense and would work well with how Lektra's Magitek works. Just go with that and it will make more sense closer to canon than using Steam stuff.

 

What's Unifying Harmony? Please don't say that's a fanfiction. I'd rather we stay close to the show. Unicorns can do magic spells and make up magic spells.

I'm not saying any of this needs to be involved in the RP, I was kind of rambling. Plus, being nitpicked at helps me refine my ideas.

 

...yes, Unifying Harmony is an dissertation I wrote on how the hell Equestria is Equestria, with all its random stuff that occurs and seems to basically contradict science. It's only five thousand words; no biggie.

So louls just wondering, how does your character not know where the plane came from? And ponies really shouldn't know the meaning of the word "plane" anyway. It was part of the battlefield, and the mare he's conveniently ignoring was the one who did that.

 

If you recall correctly, my OC wasn't really paying mind to the fight but the conversation he was carrying on with Sergant Strawberry and a certain somepony in the announcer's box. So for him to be totally distracted is plausable.

 

Also, I posted no more than a minute after the plane dropped and so since I didn't acknowledge it since i didn't know it happened I had to react late and recover. 

 

Besides the well being off IB would be a little more important than confronting Lektra about it, *Says as a nearly deciptated EWS crawls to the hospital.* XD
