while the first paragraph is plausible, the second really isn't if you think about it. He would know they were fighting at least. To be totally confused where it came from, he must really be absent-minded? I would believe it then. I wasn't suggesting a confrontation BTW. It was part of the fight and he did ask for it. Just the total ignoring boggles me is all.
