In your version does life force replenish? Cause the way you make it sound you're basically aging yourself faster than normal.

It does, through food, as the body breaks the nutrients down into energy.

Alrahm, my OC, theorizes that souls are like batteries that are rechargeable. And not only that, he theorizes that almost every living thing has a sort of soul or soul-like energy, even plants. To eat and consume is to replinish soul and body. The life-force energy comes directly from the soul, of which helps nurture the body and keep it functioning. The soul is the will, the conscious, and the battery for life. Or so he theorizes.

The primal souls, while great in power, have no physical host to act from, and thus cannot generate any power on their own due to the lack of a catalyst. However, bound into an object that is in contact with with a suitable and preferable host, the host can use their own life force energy in conjunction with that of the primal souls to perform feats that would otherwise be impossible for said host. The feats performed are influenced by the primal soul's once physical abilities, such as Kazas summoning divine flames due to the pheonix lord's affinity for fire, or Lorec's Earth shifting through the Ursa King's dominion over Earth.

How well the host uses the power along with the amount of power they can draw out is dependent on what Alrahm calls " soul mass " and " soul characteristics." Soul mass is how large the host's soul is, and soul characteristics are essentially the personalities, emotions, and imprints upon the conciousness provided by the soul. The more alike the host And primal soul are alike, the more power that can be drawn out, hence why the primals are selective of their masters. However, the catalyst used to make the elemental phenomenons happen is the life-force energy of the host in most cases. This drains the host of life slowly while also putting immense strain on the body to contain the power. It doesn't age them, but slowly saps life.

That being said, one can attain greater strength of soul and soul size through training with the divines. It is also determined by the balance of the soul. The more emotionally balanced the host, the more stages and power they can draw. A host who " awakens ", or balances out the negative and positive aspects of their concious, can attune themselves to the power of the primal divine, actually starting to use the divines life force in conjunction with their own, obtaining greater power. Thus, it is a major goal to resolve crisises of the soul so one can become awakened.

However, there are more... direct ways of creating beings that would be perfect candidates for the power...

Essentially, the soul can be replinished like a rechargeable battery and it doesn't age them, but over time, the soul starts to lose power ( the hosts ) and aging is apparent. One can however, sap their soul completely, and thus forcing a bodily shutdown.

In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God, hovering above? At least it is true, that man has no control... Even over his own will.

You promised I could do the actual killing. We had this talk then I kinda couldn't last time, but I would really like to poetic justice him by having a mare kill him.

Ok, but there's rules:

1. Leks must find out for herself IC or else it's null and void.

2. No one can touch Carmine, until I say so.

3. He WILL do some of his....ahem...'asassin stuff' before he ends up caught ok?

We will get to 1 as time allows. I figure Celestia will announce it to everyone what happened with that event.

Which I hope Corona does. :D

Rebilac: "I'm supposed to be the only assassin, here. This guys competition."

"Ha! Who's marefriend have YOU captured?"

*blushing and grumbling*

@, Whenever you get this, everyone is hoping for Celestia's announcement. :P

I understood none of this. If you mean how he's not dead, because full dead wouldn't allow him to appear in the RP again so Ice is going with an as dead as possible without being actually dead thing, so we can all fight him again. Capice?

So basically a more complicated implementation of mana and getting tired, but with harsher downsides. Sounds cool man. A bit unnecessary, but elaborate and cool.

Well, I think its a bit necesscary because the amount of raw power being released can be almost staggering at times. If I'm going to roll on a lot of power, then that power must have consequences. So demands the law of equivalent exchange. Might as well create a system for it.

Rebilac: "I'm supposed to be the only assassin, here. This guys competition."
