I hope this has taught you a valuable GMing lesson. It IS possible to be too assertive, and sometimes the GM is actually wrong.

Swinton didn't actually do anything! Honestly, it shouldn't be a crime to set reasonable restrictions on things like this. ^^' I'm sure a compromise could have been reached after a civilized discussion. After all, we're all on the same team here. Swinton was only trying to preserve the integrity of this RP and now he's being treated like a villain because of it.
