I'd say the only other issue might be that having the ability to boost other unicorn's spells isn't going to come in handy much, since so far you're the only unicorn in the group (aside from the NPC that will be joining you).

Alright, our unicorn dropped out.  I guess that leaves room for one more, or we can just go with four.  However, I would like to note that we are very pegasus-heavy right now.  We have one earth pony and three pegasi, and no unicorns.  Next in line would be Beraha, except that he wants to make a pegasus also...

Nah, that's okay.  Technically you won't be the only one who can't fly, since the NPC that will be joining you is a unicorn.

 

I think because of the necessity of asking for die rolls and making other RP OOC notes, OOC comments will be allowed in the main thread, so long as they're clearly marked as such.  I'm probably going to mark them ((like this)) or something.

 

Speaking of die rolls, GURPS uses only regular six-sided dice.  Everything (except for damage rolls) uses 3d6.  You roll three dice, and if you're equal to or lower than the skill level or stat that you're testing against, you succeed.  3 / 4 are critical successes, and 17 / 18 are critical failures.  So in this game, it's good to roll low (except when rolling damage).  I'll probably just go on the honor system, so long as everyone is truthful in their die results.

 

My first post will be a long one that sums up the history of the setting, which will be necessary so that all the characters understand the background.  After that, I'll need a post from everyone on what they're doing, before I bring them together.

 

One last note: based on your backgrounds, it's possible that Hidden Antler and Aurora may already know each other, or have at least met sometime in the past, since they both like animals and are both likely to be found in the forests (although Hidden Antler is more likely to be found in the Everfree forest, specifically).  If you both want this to be true, let me know, and feel free to share any more background info with each other that you'd like.

Sure.  What kind of character?  Think about strengths, weaknesses, personality traits and stuff.  GURPS is a very flexible system and can handle pretty much anything.  I'll send you a message with more character creation details once we have a base to work from.  I'll do most of the heavy work on it (calculating points and figuring out what still needs to be added and such).

I was thinking about a pony well versed in nature type magic specificaly plant manipulation his cutie Mark would be a tree with a vine wrapped around it he doesn't take guff from no pony but he isn't unpleasant about it with his friends he's warm and nurturing protecting them even if it cost him his life and he's a feeder he can find food in just about any setting as part of his magic he always caries seeds of different types of plants like different vines and wooden plants for his combat capabilities he is also practiced with a quarter staff and snake spear which he can also manipulate with his magic (all these are ideas and all final abilities are at gm discretion)

As for weaknesses he typically shuns most other ponies until they earn his friendship and he puts himself in very dangerous situations for those friends to protect them he is un able to use any other types of magic aside from his nature magic and he doesnt bother with money of any kind prefering to get what he needs from nature itself

Nope. It may actually help in bringing the group together. Could have helped her care for some of the animals she tends to allot.

You can live there if you want; Fluttershy doesn't live there in this setting. It's also right next to the Everfree Forest, which would explain how you two have seen each other.
