You see a portal to Cloudsdale in front of you. What do you do?

Do you go through hoping some pony will save you, or you will turn into a pegasus or something, curse your luck at the portal not leading to somewhere more hospitable? 

 

Who knows -- if you splatter to the ground, you might get a pony afterlife or just be on the astral for a few seconds with Celestia telling you how stupid you were before you expire.

 

Or do you sanely walk away?

If the portal is slowly closing, that means I wouldn't be able to get back to the real world and I don't want that, so I wouldn't jump.

But if I wanted to go there, I think I'd try to ask for help through the portal before jumping.

I didn't notice the poll, and my first thought was: "I wouldn't walk through it, but I'd most certainly throw some weird stuff through it. Because lulz."

I would grab the edge and hang. If I wasnt a Pegasus. I would climb back into the portal and accept that I would die if I went through.

I'm pretty sure that I would fall through the clouds to my death.

 

Teminal Velocity is aptly named.  You fall through cloudsdale, and you are going to have some freefall time, followed by a harsh meeting with the ground if no pony saves you.
