I'm fine with everyone having a good time and all don't get me wrong. It's just a daunting thing to have two pages of stuff to read through when you get home is all. I would say please at least wait until 1-2 others have posted before posting again so that we don't leave others behind please. If it's just dialog between two characters then that's fine just as long as we aren't moving the story along so fast that others have to play catch up.

I wasn't trying to point fingers, I was simply giving my observation. Yes you guys did post quite a bit today as well, but from the earlier scene with the flutterlings up to now it seemed to me that their two characters started get a bit more 'screen time' then anyone else.

 

I'm really not trying to be mean or anything, I love to roleplay, and when I get into a plot of something I like, even if I'm not a part of it, I'll read it once, maybe twice, thrice, etc. through it.

 

I like my rps to take a bit of time and go into depth with the story, the plot for this rp is heavily story driven, so the reason I joined was because I figured we'd take our time to advance through the story. However, everyone does seems to be speeding through it a bit too fast paced... But then again, I suppose that's to be expected since the rp thread isn't over in the advanced part of the rp forums.

 

I will still gladly be a part of this rp of course, it's just going to be tricky for me to shorten down the length of my responses, quicken the speed so I can keep up, and try to find ways to get my villains more into this, but I'm sure I'll be able to manage.

Well I was going to say there was potential for it, like the teleporting directly to the castle thing, but I know Vinyl already said that was a mistype.

 

The only other things I was going to add was the fact that I had initially thought that it would take longer than an hour to get to the castle, long hard journey for bonding and everything, ya know. But! *shrugs* Midnights already going with it. Flareon and I have already discussed our way to work with that. So it's fine now. ^^

I'm sure with the use of the train (if it existed at this time) they could get there in an hour or so. I've looked at the different post people have of the land of Equestria. And, thinking realistically, since Equestria is a continent, it can sometimes take quite a few days to get from one place or the other especially since no one can go a whole journey with stopping to rest and eat. I don't really have knowledge of how fast a dragon can go, but at super fast speeds, I don't think ponies could hold onto their backs...

 

I've also traveled across the U.S. from one side or the other and back. At minimum by car it's a total of seven days from coast to coast.

 

But I guess it could also depend on where the characters started and where their going to. So it doesn't really matter I suppose

Ok from what I got to now, the castle is within site from the air which means the group should be close enough that when Beraha takes off he wouldn't have to use full speed. Secondly, Chrysteel was taking both Beraha's size and strength and endurance into account when calculating how long it would take. A full grown dragon, by dnd speed standards, can go at most 300+ feet every 6 seconds. This is with riders and his size he just has clumsy meanuverability while flying. A group of pegasi will be able to fly circles around him but he can out pace almost all of them. Flutterlings have high speeds due to using hope as a speed booster through the use of Valor's Wingstorm. Not only is it an interrupt effect but for a short duration afterwards it also grants a hasting effect. The interrupt uses aura field effect and can affect all targets in range of aura (30 to 60 feet radius).

No, I know it wouldn't be too far since they could see it. But even before that part was mentioned I had originally figured they'd pop out from the portal a distance away as to way they couldn't see it, possibly get directions, or even barely visible.

 

And, Dnd? Is that like, Dungeons and Dragons? I've never played any kind of rpgs like that. Plus, I can be pretty sucky in math.

 

But thanks for the details on the flutterings I suppose. Like I said, I'm just gunna role with it now anyway.

 

Trying to type up a response for Flareon, it's just gonna take a little bit. And I'm kiiinda waitin' for Yoshikupo to respond to something before I start going off what the two (currently three) of us planned.

It is fine. The hasting effect only affects the user so only those who can harness the silver aura of hope can use it. There is one downside, for the next combat round, all the user can do is move and defend. They can't take an offensive action of any kind.

I would say that sounds fine, so long as it takes a bit of time and isn't like, immediately after they defeat Nightmare Moon. I thought I saw something about that mentioned before here in the OOC, where the mane characters would be stuck there for a little while. Can't remembered if it was months or years after they beat Nightmare. But either way, there can always be a time skip to when she finally figures it.

 

But I mean, I think this is an question more for Flareon than me, since their the DM.
