I never stop.

 

With blood red rain pecking my shoulders.

Alone in the nocturnal embrace of night.

As I carry the heavy burden of mankind.

Trying to lift the sadness of others.

 

Shedding tears under the shining moon.

A sulk and moan is heard in an echo.

With bloodshot eyes and aching heart.

My feet tapping on the empty road.

 

Seeking to relief other of the pain.

To cure their broken hearts and soul.

Wishing to be the savior of all good.

Creating the guiding light to follow.

 

Every step trails a flowerbed of beauty.

Thorny roses growing from the prints.

Bare feet in the blood soaked soil.

Life blooming up in the hope of light.

 

Always searching for the better place.

An everlasting mortal journey of hope.

Seeing the distant shimmer of light.

Seeking the gateway from despair.

 

I walk.
