Beraha chuckles. "There's nothing left of that worthless village to attack. I nearly completely destroyed it, first by burning it then by freezing it."

 

He looks diwn plainly in thought. "But those meddlesome ponies will probably be protecting the villagers who survived my attack. You have a good plan, I hate to admit that, but we'll have to attack the group not the village."

"Thank you dragon boy, and you are right we will have to attack the villiagers themselves," Broken Heart said with a grin. "So get the troops ready while I get the device prepared for use."

Scare regained the ability to move when Fear left the area, walking in the direction the hoof steps were coming from, she suddenly felt tired and collapsed on the ground falling asleep.

[Buzz 1,769]

Buzz, followed by Rave, started to look for the other ponies in the town. They searched everywhere in the main area of the town, but could not find anypony. "Give us a minute" said Buzz, "I have an idea." With that Buzz flew into the air and started to look for any sign of life from the sky. Whilst scanning the area, he saw somthing that looked like a pony. When he concentrated on it he saw a grey mare lying on the floor in the middle of an ally-way. "Oh no" he said as he flew straight in her direction, leaving Rave in the centre of town on his own. When he reached the mare he found she was unconsious. "Hello, are you there, are you ok?" he said as shook the mare, trying to wake her up, and shouting for help.

Rave felt insulted when left behind. He made a puffy face. "Not like I need to help anyone". He made a gesture of leaving, but then heard the shouting for help. "Ugh, can't ever do anything right, can you?" he says to himself and runs in the direction of the shouting and arrives where the grey mare lay. He gave Buzz an annoyed look and bent down beside the lying mare. His horn glowed and the mare was enveloped in magic. "I am trying to relieve her body of stress, it might help".

Scare opened her eyes and saw a white pegasis and a gold unicorn looking at her in concern, "What are you two look so concerned about?" Scare asked the two  stallions. getting up she looked around to see if she dropped her small stone friend when she passed out, noticing him on the ground she picked him up and put him on her back. she then turned back to the stallions, "by the way, who are you?"

Rave gave Buzz a look and then looked back at her. "Well, my name is Rave Darkmane. I am an explorer and a cartographer. Other information about me are best left out or I might get into trouble" he looked at Buzz and then back at Scare. "You were lying on the ground and looked hurt. I took the liberty to use my magic to ease your body from any stress".

"And im Buzz, you know the one that found you and called this one to come and use his fancy magic to help you up!" Buzz said, giving a similar look to Rave as he had him, only with a more sarcastic grin on his face. He then turned back to the mare. "Are you alright, you looked preaty out of it?"

[Scare Effect 312]

"Well it is nice to meet you and thank you both for helping me my name is Scare Effect, and there is no need to worry im just tired from lifting a giant metal machine, and summoning a stone giant to fight a dragon." Scare said with a weak smile the stone figure nodded in agreement.

[Buzz 1,769]

"Ermmmmmmmmm......" Buzz replied, not knowing how to respond to that. All he could think about was how he complained about being tired after flying to the shops in the morning, but that was nothing compared to what she had just done. "so, your stone figure can grow, and move, and is actually alive?!"

"Ah yes, I met you when you were lifting that machine. And it was you that summoned the Stone Giant? Well, that was nicely done of you. I am sure the other ponies would be thankful for your support. Your help will have been invaluable to them" he smiled. He looked at Buzz again. "Any more ponies that need our help?" he asked with annoyed tone. 

[Buzz 1,769]

"I don't know!" He said bitterly, quickly turning his head to Rave till he had eye contact. "hey, here's an idea; why dont you use your wings, fly into the sky and see if you can spot any more ponies under the rubble and debris of an entire town!" Buzz said, a sarcastic tone in his voice. He had now become almost un-aware of the mare next to them.

"yes he has life and his name is Everest he has been my friend for many years," Scare anwsered Buzz turning to Rave, "I remember you, any way Rave I searched this area there is nopony here to save but my friend did suggest to gather some supplies so we can take the survivors to apploosa then i'm going to track down those ponies and that dragon."

Rave thought for a while, ignoring Buzz. "You won't do so alone... will you? You couldn't possibly put yourself at risk? Well, if you are, I can tell you that I am coming with you. This dragon must be stopped". He knew he did not sound very convincing, but he hoped it was enough. "If I do this, perhaps Celestia will forgive me and I will be discharged of all of my crimes" he thought to himself. 

[Buzz 1,769]

"Yea, for once i'm with him. You cant do this alone, giant rock friend or not, so ill come with you as well" Buzz replied, knowing that there was only two main reasons for him going: to keep his promise to those who had died that day and to give him more time to remember how he knew Rave Darkmane before today.

[Scare Effect 312]

Scare looked at the two stallions then smiled at their willingness to help, "okay but our first priority is to get these ponies to apploosa safe and sound, after that we will set out to find the ones responsible for the loss of these ponies homes." Scare told the stallions walking very slowly toward the group of ponies.

Rave nodded and looked at Buzz. "I guess we better see if the ponies are ready to travel and see who are still in bad condition. Those who are too hurt to travel on their own will require aid, so we will have to ask other healthy ponies to help us with that". 

[Buzz 1,769]

"Exactly what i was thinking" Buzz replied. "we better check what supplies we have left as well, appaloosa isn't exactly a quick trip. If need be we could melt some of the ice to get the required water and we may just have to ration the remaining food between everypony if it gets too low. We could also create some crutch like things, to help the injured, out of the wood from the houses."

Rave thought for a while. "I will allow you to handle those things. I for one know the quickest path to Appleloosa since I have traversed these lands often. I will also check to see if the foals and fillies are alright. I wouldn't be all to happy if I would discover that more are hurt..... or worse".

" hey you two," scare called at them, "i have an idea on how to make sure we get there quickly and safely and the injured wont have to suffer very long." Scare was now smiling like it was the best idea ever." Everest could carry them there. a 50 mile walk is a day to the big guy."

Rave looked at Buzz with a big grin and then back at Scare. "I think that would be a marvelous idea. It would save a lot of time, including a lot of strength. Ponies would not have to carry each other around". He really liked the idea, they would be a lot quicker.

"Yea, sure" Buzz replied, a little reluctant of the idea personally but was willing to go through with it for the others. "I just dont know who the ponies in Appleoosa will feel with a giant rock creature coming to their town though." Buzz smiled at the idea of their reactions

" I don't care how they will react we need to get these ponies to safety and he is the quickest and safest bet of the survival of these ponies so if they have a problem with it they'll have to deal with an angry rock giant," Scare said placing Everest on the ground,"alright everypony stand back he is about to get really big so give him lots of space." as the ponies stepped back Everest began to grow 10ft, 20ft, 40ft, then 80ft he stepped growing."alright big guy you know the plan right?" Everest nods "good boy." Scare passes out due to putting the rest of her energy to get everest to grow.

Rave levitates Scare. He looks at the giant. "Got a comfortable place up there where she might rest? I think it might be best that you carry her along with all the other ponies". He did not expect the giant to talk, so he waited to see if the giant would nod.

the giant nods and reaches down and picking Scare up carefully puts her on his shoulder. he then walked over to  the crowd dropping to one knee and putting his hand out to let the other ponies climb up to his shoulders. and using his other hand to lift those who could not walk up to his shoulder.

Beraha smiles nodding he actually liked her idea and get hated to admit that. He leaves the throne room going yo the garison. "All right you worthless ponies your mistress requires youe service. If you aren't up and out of here lined up in twenty minutes you become dragon food." He walks away smiling he was starting to really like this evil thing
