I take it back, I actually do have a claim to fame!
It's kind of lame, but kind of not? Depends on your perspective.

This week, I recently found out that I am related to a pair of musicians. Both of them are my half brothers (we share the same father, but not the same mother). They have released music singles/albums, their songs have gotten some radio play (only in their local areas, I believe), and they were near the bottom of a Top 10 list of up & coming artists. However, since they speak and release mostly Spanish music, they are only recognized as Spanish musicians. They aren't mainstream, they are obscure.

So... Does that count as lame claim to fame? According to Weird Al's song, the claim should be many degrees of separation. This is a direct relationship, but they aren't exactly topping charts, so one could argue they aren't extremely famous.
