emoji literally means "character picture" and what is that if it isn't a picture of discord?

Memed because the unicode supported list includes all Apple emojis, Samsung emojis, etc. Widely accepted as emojis. These are not emojis. They are emoticons. There is a difference and I will defend that until I die.
