A few months ago,
I was at the festival of Voelegem.
There were posters with my picture everywhere.
There were banners hanging above the streets.
With my name, in very big letters.
And once again that evening, I had a very enthusiastic audience, in the parish hall.
But when I arrived back in my hotel room,
all alone...Yes more people will have said this that night.
So on my hotel room I thought about the problem which actually troubles me a lot as a big star.
I grabbed my guitar and I made a song.
And it goes like this.

It's hard to remain unpretensious
when you're as good as I am
so cool, so charming and so friendly
you notice it in one second
I think when I watch in the mirror
I'm such an incredible chap
It's hard to remain unpretensious
for a guy with as much talent as me.

The most beautiful girls
Those who have only seen me once
They immediately fall in front of my feet
At every toe at least ten
I'm also very wanted by the males
But that doesn't satisfy me either
Because there's not one on this world
that is as good and ideal as me.

I don't want a film carreer either

However it's usual
You always get kitschy
And that's exactly what I don't want to be.
