Banned because I don't know either - been five years since I last logged in, the game has changed totally in that time.

You might want to consider the fairy ring quests though - after you complete three (all three? no idea if there are new ones) you can use the FR without a stave, and they are REALLY convenient for getting around without wasting runes.  Depending on your RC level, I guess you might want to stock up on runes you can't craft normally, and/or make a bunch of arrows?
