The Order that killed the Light Brigade

 

The commander on his hill,

Honour needing a fill,

“Look- Many a big gun,

Is being taken- No time for fun!”

He sent the six hundred,

But the messenger blundered

Alas! The wrong guns attacked,

But the Light Brigade's contract,

Meant they could not wonder.

So with a charge like thunder,

Into the Valley Of Death,

Many breathed their last breath,

Through the enemy line they broke.

They would have been glad for some smoke,

To hide them from view,

But without they had to do,

Few made it back alive,

For the cannons were hard to survive.[/spoiler]
