Green got to the roof of the building. "Please don't do anything stupid." He said to Heat. "Just drive home. Rethink your decisions. Don't make me come find you, because next time you won't come off so lucky." He smiled. "I'm begging you just drive home don't try anything on your way, because I'll be there and I'll knock the hell out of you again and again until you decide that this isn't the best thing to do with you life." He offered him the soda which he didn't open yet.

Tempest noticed the helicopter and gave a slight smirk as small amounts of electricity arced between the spikes on his back. "Might as well show off a bit." He thought to himself as he performed several maneuvers in the air that would make most jet pilots black out.

Shade pulled around a corner and parked his stolen vehicle. He got out and headed to the nearest doorway. ((Which happens to be Fractal's safehouse.)) Shade knocks on the door and calls out, "Hey! Anyone home? I need some directions. My phone ran out of battery."

Sara turns on the camera above the door and examines Shade, "Where do you need directions to?" she shouts before beginning to search through a facial recognition database for him, looking to see if he's a known metahuman or just someone out on the street.

Emile had just returned home to get the rest of his equipment when he noticed his cameras started going out. "The other two can wait, they seem oblivious to what I'm doing, and they're far enough away from the cameras that are going out. This guy, on the other hand... Wait, he looks familiar..." he said, looking back at the footage of the shorted-out cameras. "Glad I got that list of known metas from those servers at the federal office downtown a few days ago," he continued as he executed a program to run through the list for a match. "Judging from his powers, I'm not gonna have much luck in fighting him head on... Shoot him in the back of the head? No, he might know something... I'll just beat him to the edge of his life," he said, smirking. As he got his gear together, the program had run it's course. "Shock Wave, member of a group of metahumans known for petty crime. Minor powers of electricity. Threat level alone: minimal. Threat level among partners Heat Wave and Sound Wave: slightly above average. Piece of cake," he said, wrapping electrical tape around his batons and the hilt of his sword to avoid making his weapons a lightning rod. After doing so, he headed to the location of last camera that was shorted out and hid in a cardboard box in an alley nearby, listening, waiting.

     Lilith Alsoomse woke up from her dream. Though it was more of a nightmare than anything. All her dreams were becoming the same. Each time a different person would die and in a different way. The last dream she had was of a man dying in a car accident, the car practically flipping multiple times before landing upside down in a ditch on the side of the highway. This dream though was different in this dream multiple people had all been gunned down by one assailant. She couldn't see the faces of the people that died, nor could she see the killer but she knew that she had had another vision. 

     Lilith rubbed her tired baggy eyes and climbed out of bed stepping on a bag of discarded chips on her way out. Her long lithe body feeling tired and aching from the constant nights of dreaming nightmares. She went into the kitchen of the house which was just as filthy as the rest of the house. Her hopes were to be able to get at least a bowl of cereal down but no such luck was to be had as her father had not gone to the local foodmart to get any groceries. She would have to go and get them herself. Lilith went back into her room and grabbed a pair of pants that was stained and lying on the floor like a discarded piece of trash. Putting them on she headed out the door getting ready to grab her father from the bar and to bring him home. Of course she noticed the hanging woman in the living room but like always she just had to ignore them. They only wanted attention and giving them attention never ended well. With a determined look in her eye she set out to pick up her father.

Aurora's eyes go red. She says in Midnight's voice, "Then why are we letting them roam. They clearly have wrongdoer written all over them."

 

Back as Aurora, "Midnight, we can't they haven't done anything wrong. Mom and Dad raised us to be law abiding. We can't break those laws or we face the consequences of those actions."

 

Aurora seems to be having trouble keeping Midnight in check at this time.

'Oh someone is actually home, and it looks like it's a she,' shade thought as he thought of an answer. "I need directions to some pier with warehouses. I'm not too sure what it is called. Do you know what I'm talking about?" Shade shouted back.

Sara nods, "Do you have any more details? There are a couple of different piers in town, why are you going there?" she asks, hoping to stall the man until she can get a complete background on him, or at least know what the government knows about him. Her eyes flick over to a display to her left as the results come in, Looks like a kindred spirit, could he be going to the same place? she asks herself.

Heat Wave stumbled, his head still hurt and he was still disoriented, having suffered several strong hits to his head "I just want to leave..." police sirens were heard near by, police heading to the scene. "shit..." Heat Wave shot out a hand and shot a burst of heat and flame and then ran off

The news helicopter then left, now having a story for the 3:00 news

Shock Wave was causally walking around the area, whistling to himself, as he pointed at cameras and zapping them

in her car, the DJ of the radio station made an interesting statement "Dont forget, the local Police is in need of real psychics and mediums in need of the FEAR case, so like if your one of those who can see and talk to dead people or whatever, go down to the station and let em know you wanna help! maybe they will put you on the pay roll!" after that the DJ and his co-host began discussing such people, bringing up stories and encounters and experiences with such people

Auroras mother put her hand on her shoulder "Settle down now, Im sure one of those crazy super hero types will take him down if hes really that bad"

"Now they wanna come?" Green saw the police coming closer. "Always wanted to try this." He slowly got off the roof and into the alley behind it. After that Green ran across the street on the opposite side from where the police were coming and walked into a store near where he was and moved to the aisle near the back where no one would look at him. "So much waiting."

Emile saw Shock Wave walk past the alley, stepped out of his cardboard box, got a better grip on his batons, came out of the alley just behind Shock Wave, and used the ends of his batons to hit Shock Wave's temples, wrapped his arm around his neck, and dragged him into the alley.

Tempest rolled his eyes and flew out of the city and landed in front of a house in the middle of the forest. "Ah, home sweet home." He thought to himself. The house itself seemed to blend in with the surrounding foliage and unless you knew what to look for, it was very easy to miss. The dragon then shifted into his human form and walked inside. He had all the necessities of life and a bit more. Tempest then made himself a small lunch and sat in his kitchen.

     Lilith wasn't too surprised to hear this on the radio. She had known for a long time that a lot of people died in this local town ((is this a town or city?)) What did surprise her though was the fact that the local radio station was mentioning mediums. She used to be ashamed of her gift to communicate with the departed but lately she had come to accept it. Her guide had even found a way into her life popping up at random inconvenient times, like when she was french kissing that handsome man from the bar after work and that 'coyote' happened to grab his leg. Today her guide was not in the talking mood, or the affectionate mood for that matter.

     After picking up her drunken father from the bar that the was passed onto her from him she locked up the place with the key and brought him back home. Lovingly she laid him out on the couch and put a blanket over him. He was such a hardworking man that had been taken advantage of for so long by the crooks of Tollopolis. Maybe it was time for that all to change. All the poor hardworking natives of the reservation were taken advantage of and it needed to stop.

On the television a news story was running about the FEAR killings

(a bit of both, a huge city with skyscrapers in the middle, branching out is a smaller city/town area and suburbs on the outskirts)

 

On a counter top was a newspaper, in bold one of the articles was about the police using psychics and mediums in the FEAR case, however one thing popped out about the article, in bold, it read "Police are willing to pay $5000 up front to any legitimate psycics or mediums who sign up to help investigators, in addition a monthly salary will be provided"

Emile hadn't been paying even the slightest bit of attention, a he looked down and realized that Shock Wave was wearing a helmet and started electrocuting him. He immediately dropped him. "You son of a bitch, I was going to go easy on you... I think I'll just kill you now," Emile said, throwing one of his batons into his face, hitting him in the eye and boomeranging back to his hand.

Aurora says, "Midnight's Empathy is detecting unrest and anger mom. She is highly affected by the emotions of others. She is still learning to control it. I am going to go to my room for a bit. My friends are all busy and Papa is still at the crime scene. Hopefully I can help him once I graduate from the academy. Let me know when lunch is ready, please."

 

Aurora heads to her room and meditates. Her and midnight train against eachother in their mental world.

Lilith new it was time to head into town. The job working at the bar just wasn't enough to support her and her father. She picked up the garbage which consisted of a banana peel among many rotten food debris. After that she kissed her father goodbye until she would see him later that night and headed to her parked old blue Ford truck. (( not sure what year I should make it but just know its crappy)). Lilith had grabbed the newspaper with her along with her purse and shoved it off to the side passenger seat. As she looked into the back she noticed the shape of the owl first, then noticed the blood red eyes that real owls did not have. "Are you going to be following me this whole trip?" she asked her guide out loud. The bird just simply looked at her with a slight tilt to its head. "Fine come along but you better not mess up this job opportunity for me". She needed to keep this a secret. If her father ever found out he would freak and then the family bar would go straight down the toilet. However no one said she couldn't make a little money on the side. So Lilith began her journey heading to the local town police station. She just couldn't help but feel apprehensive as the longer she drove the closer she got to whatever it was that was calling to her.

Shade was not to keen on reveling too much details in case the woman he was talking to would squeal on the police. "All I know is some warehouse 18 at a pier, didn't give me other details." Shade was not happy that his phone decided to die out on him. I could have just looked that up, damn it.

Sara shrugs, "I guess they might have meant pier two over near the Launch, but I don't know whether it's that or pier three over by main unless I have some more details... Do you have a phone I can look at? Seeing the message would make this easier for both of us." She lets her nanites begin to prepare her failsafe for this compromised safe house, knowing that now that someone's been here she should prepare a surprise if anyone else comes in.

Neri had finished cleaning his apartment and looked out the only window from his small apartment ''The night... Its too quiet'' when he said that he saw a red blur rush from a building into an alley, guessing it was something wrong with his eyes he sat on his bed and turned on the television just zooming past channels.

 

Sheroe had found the perfect group... Perfect indeed, Two twins and a regular human with no family left, they were held back by rope and had a blind fold each. He started making a humming noise similiar to twisting breaking and melting flesh near the two twins. He then forcefully took their bodies and using a near perfect resonance with the human skin he had them melt together until a point in where both of them died in an explosive way ''Another... Failure, like the rest'' he then went to the person who had no family left on this planet and started making a different sound. A sound so unbelievable that the subject started screaming in terror and pain as the sound forcefully split his body into two entities. One who had emotions and the other one the memories, just like himself. He then made the same sound as before that started merging them... But yet again it failed, sighing he left the building and started searching for more victims to make his control perfect.

Tempest sighed as he watched the news. He still had no idea who Fear could be, granted it was the first day he even started looking into the case more. "Something about this isn't right." He thought to himself. "I just hope the others will be at the pier tonight. Maybe if we can plan our steps, then we might have a chance at catching this guy."

The news mentioned that Maxwell Manhattan was now publicly funding the investigators efforts, and the police have been furthering their efforts to use psychics and mediums to help them.

The baton bounded off the visor, but managed to chip the fiberglass and caused Shock Wave to stumble backwards "ahh! punk!" he shot some bolts of electricity at him

Yelping a little bit in pain, Emile put his batons together, which then extended from the ends to form a bo staff. Running forward a few steps, he planted it into the ground and vaulted feet first into Shock Wave, kicking him in the chest with his full force, knocking him to the ground and hopefully knocking the wind out of him.

Lilith was worried about how busy it was inside. She had never seen so many people all running around in this kind of frenzy. She was used to the quiet laziness of the bar with the drunken men moping about and the girls that would come up to sing their sad songs. This was more like a bomb had gone off, though what kind she wasn't sure. Everyone seemed extremely busy. Even her guide was no where to be seen among the passing police officers in the building that rushed by. Though one person was looking at her. It was an officer. "Hello there officer perhaps you could help me?". Just as she asked the question she realized that the man had a bullet hole in the middle of his forehead. His sad eyes continued to stare at her unblinking and unchanging. She averted her gaze from the figure and walked up to an office desk with a lady sitting at it. "Excuse me. Perhaps you could help me with something? I saw this ad in the newspaper and was interested in applying for the job".
