Honsou 399 June 24, 2015 Share June 24, 2015 Sombra's original character just wanted to have friends and to be loved. Above all else he wanted to go to the Crystal Fair with his ship, but for some reason that he didn't figure out until it was too late the Crystal Fair hurt him. Zejgar 25 June 24, 2015 Share June 24, 2015 I'm pretty sure Twilight was fueled by pure hatred when she was fighting Tirek.
Shanks 10,816 June 24, 2015 Share June 24, 2015 Yes and the most obvious example was the blind, irrational racist hatred that the ponies showed toward Zecora in the episode Bridle Gossip. Granted not every example of hatred in the show can be called racist but as the show itself established through that episode that ponies are capable of racism which itself is a rather nasty form of hatred it is entirely reasonable that aside from examples already mentioned that ponies are entirely capable of expressing hatred in pretty much any way that humans are capable of it. 2 Rarity Get's Cockroaches

221BTardisSt 101 June 24, 2015 Share June 24, 2015 (edited) Even in Hearth's Warming Eve, the pony race representatives agreed that they didn't hate each other, they just really disliked each other. In most kid's shows, you are going to notice the absence of the word "hate," because a lot of kids are taught not to say it because it's such a strong word. That being said, I do think that there have been times where the CMC have felt hate toward Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, but I don't think they would have said it. cider float 2,537 June 25, 2015 Share June 25, 2015 If you mean a continuous hatred of a certain somepony of course they do. The CMC huffed away Discord for just hanging around them, the mane six still negatively reacts at Discord's appearances until he apologized in Twilight's Kingdom, Applejack and Rarity have a bitter distaste for each other's standards even though they are still friends, CMC hating Diamond Tiara. Why would hatred be absent in any show? The only shows that don't have hatred are probably Teletubbies, Sesame Street, Barney or other shows like that. Cwanky 17,571 June 25, 2015 Share June 25, 2015 Just to hammer home the emphasis, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon definitely show hatred. The whole premise for them bullying the CMCs works the opposite way people think. They hate the CMCs. Its shown through their contempt of them and their desire to make them miserable and ruin their lives. There's also obviously Sombra, but let's not forget Starlight Glimmer. If that's not a face of pure hatred I dunno what is.
