I'm planning on developing comic, fanfic and a possible game of sorts for Cloudsdale arena and other future projects. However, I'd like to involve the members of the MLP forums. I need everyponies help on suggesting team names, which ponies you want, divided onto a 7vs7 pony team, 5vs5 pony team, and finally a 3vs3 pony team, So far I have

Twilight Sparkle, Apple jack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Spike as a sample 7v7 pony team. Don't necessarily have a name for the team yet, possibly "Equestria Girls" however this is optional.

5v5 sample(s) is so far

Team name: ???

Horse M.D

Nurse Redheart

Vigilance

Screwloose

Raggedy Doctor

(all are hospital related ponies, get clever with elements like this)

Team name: Elite Entourage (optional)

Photo Finish

Midnight Fun

Roxie

Powder Rouge

High Style

(You can mix them up with other ponies if you like, these are just examples)

3v3

Team name: Cutie Mark Crusaders: (insert additional or optional name here)

Applebloom

Sweetiebelle

Scootaloo

3v3

Team name: Salon Splash

Aloe

Lotus

Quake

All of these are examples. If you like you can enter your OC's here and create an entire team for yourself to enter for a sketch/picture cameo role in the fanfic. All teams assembled with OC's pics, names, and team name can get illustrated by myself, or original poster too (yourself) if you like.

I'm just looking for more pony collaboration in my artwork. Thanks for your time!

I actually gotta get off for a bit, but leave your posts here, msg me, or both, and I'll get back to you asap.

Ohh, I should mention. You should probably message me who you want on your team roster if you do want a custom team, Those that help themselves to Hasbro copyrighted characters and message me first, have first dibs.

Teams should be ponies that usstally are seen together, like a good 3x3 team would be Lyra, Berry Punch & Bon Bon. They are 3 ponies that are usually seen with each other a lot and the community ships them a lot so it would seems like shops idea to put the on the same team, also I would suggest either 1 or 2 leagues and 3 classes on each league. Classes are determined by skill Classes C, B, & A would be great names and also A class S for special tournaments and championships. Another great team is Rose, Cherilee & maybe Big Mac, because Big Mac is on there, they would be considered either a high class B or a regular class A team. They more main characters the higher the rank. Did that help?

I'm the Son of Celestia And when i'm King who else did you think would be Queen?

I never have played paintball. I've only ever played semi casual airsoft, but this sounds legit!

For the cutiemark crusaders i would put The Fighting Fillys! :)

Essentially that's what all my examples were about, like one of the 3v3 teams was the 3 Spa ponies that are often seen together, Aloe, Lotus, and then Quake, the masseuse.

Same for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and Mane 6, including Spike

I'm all for whatever team designations and ponies, they can all be related in a sort of way, or not, it's up to the members,

Now as far as classes go, in the world of competitive paintball, there's NPPL, SPPL (actually renamed nowadays, but I don't keep up with scenario ball as much any more, and PSP. Essentially NPPL (which is what EPPL is spinning off of) There is 6 class registrations.

Pro

Semi Pro

D1

D2

D3

D4

However, I'm choosing to try and avoid this, maybe use a smaller class registration, instead I was thinking, of cutting it shorter, and I would avoid categorizing the ponies into higher classes, just because of their main character roles. There are many ponies out there that can be stronger suited to fields than the main protagonists.

I'm also trying to decide whether or not, to ban the use of certain gifted characteristics, like no Unicorn powers and wing usage.

This would make every pony equal,

but at the same time, the thought of aerial paintball combat is really amusing me, and I'm just trying to decide how to incorporate all that together.

Skill sets would be hard to determine for most of hasbro owned ponies as majority of them have never been screened alot, performing competitive tasks, Like Bon Bon, Lyra, Octavia.

On the show, there were ponies that can perform exceptionally, and skills that can benefit the sport, namely all your Pegasi.

Ponies that participated in "Sisterhooves Social"

Depending on the skills of said ponies, any pony can be fitted into 3 positions genuinely found on the paintball field.

Front:

or frontman (in this case, Front pony) : Genuinely are the ponies that are seen fit, fast, agile, and playing with a lot of reckless abandon. Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack would be a prime examples to fit in this category. however, these ponies while accuracy is indeed a questionable trait, carry a lesser payload of munition.

Middle: Ponies that are just as agile, quick and flexible between multiple roles (Like myself) can be best suited to fit in the midst of the 3 groups, responding to either frontman roles, or backman roles. Pinkie Pie, (because of her amazing gift to be just as quick as Rainbow Dash is many ways) and can adapt to conditions quickly, would be a okay addition to this role. Twilight Sparkle (as the head of the mane 6) is often required to be able to perform a little, but not all of the tasks with her fellow mane 6 (making her flexible) Essentially, any pony can fit here that are generally seen fit, can participate here.

Back: Backman roles can be filled with any pony period, it isn't a difficult role, but it still requires determination to fulfill. In the event a back player cannot perform his or her role, can lead a team to devastation. Without suppression fire, and controlling where your opponents will go, makes it that much more difficult for your front and middle players to perform efficiently. Back players, while maybe not as agile, can still be quick with overall snap shot suppression. Of the mane 6, Rarity, and Fluttershy can fill this role out. While they may not be the best at it, seeing as how Rarity would prefer not to get dirty to much. Fluttershy, because of her nature, can fill this role out, although I'd be pretty concerned with her communication skills. Majority of all back players carry a more abundant payload of paint, and keep the air filled with it quite exceptionally.

The mane 6 were just an example in the position deal. Any member can choose their ponies, and who they see fit to perform either of one of the three roles. It is very important to have a team that has a well balanced coordination of skills sets. Not necessary, but can prove to be a formidable force to be reckoned with. There have been known occasions where teams have been entirely composed of either all out frontmens, (I like to refer to these teams as a Heavy Front, fast assault types) or backmens, (Walls of paint)

i play competitive paint ball so mlp and paintball WIN

I blame one of my earlier guy fiends for getting me addicted to it, and I started working for a field back in 2005 and had been doing it for 5 years straight. I participated in tournaments, both recreational and more world renown ones. The last time I played was back in Huntington Beach, California for PSP. Nowadays, I play alot of SPPL related games.

What about you? Judging from your name I can tell you're into the Tippmann line up. You play alot of scenario ball? X ball? or PSP related air ball fields?

I didn't wholly get into the pump scene, although I have thought about converting one of my minimags into a pump, but I would have to say, my signature markers are all Planet Eclipse egos and eteks, each one of them, a variant of purple and black.

I love to play paintball in all it's forms and aspects, but like I said before, I've settled on playing scenario paintball lately, and I work the paintball shop on it's week days. You wouldn't believe how many markers I go through a day fixing lol, most guys don't like it when a girl knows more about their paintball markers than they do hehe.
