'Another less than restful night. Recurring nightmares are such a hassle. Well my instinct tells me that today may be quite busy. Rest will have to wait.'

 

In little time at all, Wade was up and ready. But before he would go an meet up with everyone, he had his reports to write. Saying that you have nothing to report is technically still a report in its own way. "I do wonder where exactly in the world Atlantis is. Rave should have decoded that map by now. Maybe we'll get told later. Well, waiting doesn't really hurt anyone."

Aqua sighed and instead sat by herself somewhere quiet. She used her magic to take out a book that was in one of her saddlebags and then levitated it into her lap. "Just a nice relaxing reading session.." Aqua peacefully thought to herself. She opened it to the bookmarked page and began to read where she last left off.

"You make a good point my dear. I guess I'm a bit too excited to get on the water again. Take as much time as ye need." Caramel extended a hoof to help Tyra back up. "Be careful mate." She chuckled. "How many barrels did ye drink? I hope we still have some left for the rest of the journey."

 

Tyra gratefully accepted the help, getting herself back up onto her hooves, albeit still shaky.

"I...I am sure I only had the one barrel," She slurred, slowly blinking one eye after the other, "Aye, the one you asked me to get...nopony showed up so...I helped myself." She explained with a hiccup.

Aqua giggled as she could hear Tyra hiccup in the background. Her horn glowed with a magic aura and flipped the page. The corners of her mouth curled into a smile as she was really enjoying this book.

 

Aqua was about to hum but then coughed instead as she knew that she wasn't to hum or sing. "Ugh...you really need to stop with nearly humming." She cursed in her thoughts.

"Good!" Caramel said, putting an arm around Tyra's shoulder. "next time I'll be there drinking with ye. I promise." She smiled. "But for now, if ye didn't do it already, get yer things cause I can't wait much longer to sail." Caramel made a small jump of joy and then walked below deck.

"I would love for you to join me, friend," Tyra agreed, grinning back at Caramel, then watched her walk off, "I...I have my things in my room! I think...um...aye, I do!"

 

She grinned to herself and staggered around the deck, wondering who else was there for her to ramble to.

With nothing better to do with his time. He decided to take a little walk around the ship. He didn't have a layout flawless let, but one quick trip should help. Not long after he started walking, he made his way to the deck of the ship. The sight of Tyra drunkenly stumbling about was enough to stifle a small laugh out of him, before he approached the drunken mare.

 

"Hey. It seems to me that you might have had one too many drinks last night. You sure you're okay to be walking around? *chuckle*"

Lordy didn't need a proper room. Hell, the navy ship he served on didnt even have rooms for the crew, just a bunch of hammocks tied on the pillars between the two great cannon lines. Navy ships were all about efficiency and firepower, the crew was... expendable. He had a hammock tied by the cannons. Indirectly, that would give him the biggest room... As it stretched the entire weapon bay. Since the place was almost nearly visitor-free, he took the liberty of 'decorating'. He set up a tea-table from some crates and placed the regimental flag he always carried with him, for the honor of his passed comrades, over it. He also had a small painting made of the ship he once served on, the SMS Valiant, a truly massive warship, the biggest ever built, a floating fortress. He place it above his hammock, the place brought back all kinds of memories.

"And if you're going to be sneaky you need to work on controlling your voice. I could see you from the moment you spotted us. Good morning Aqua."

"*sigh* I told you so. You're cute when you're drunk." Wade put on both his gauntlets and proceeded to pick up Tyra with his front hooves, while standing on his back hooves.

 

@ "Sorry to ask this of you first thing in the morning, but would you be so kind as to open the doors for me? I would do it myself, but I'm under strict rules to not use magic while inside the perimeter of this property."

"Okay first of all, I wasn't intending to be sneaky." Aqua chuckled. "Oh whoa there Tyra!" She giggled as she saw her collapse against Wade. She trotted over to the door and then held it open for Wade. "Here you go!" She chirped, liking to be a help around these ponies.

"Okay okay. You weren't trying to be sneaky. Anyway, thanks for the help. Much appreciated." Wade walked with Tyra below the decks and looked for a vacant room that he could drop her off in. Not to far from the door was just such a room. Good size, lighting and location. "This will do for now." This one wasn't shut fully, so he could open it himself. He put Tyra down the bed and tucked her in. "Next time, try not to drink so much that you knock yourself out. I might not be around to carry you next time. I'll get you a warm towel. Should clear your head up a bit." Wade stood from the side of Tyra's bed and left the room.

 

"Aqua? Could you please keep an eye or her for a brief moment? I'll be back in just a minute." Wade left to go and get some warm water from inside the house.

Tyra gladly laid down on the bed, totally knocked out the second she collapsed on Wade. Her foreleg hung off the side of the bed, and if Aqua looked closer, she might have see a sliver of drool beginning to slip out her mouth onto the pillow.

 

Her gear sat strewn on a chair in the room, including her cloak, axe, and saddlebags.

Aqua nodded and gave him a wide and friendly smile. "Can do!" She chirped.

 

She quietly and slowly took a seat on a stool that was next to the bed Tyra was in. She looked around the room in an awkward manner and tapped her hooves on the floor patiently and quietly.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Wade returned after a few minutes with a bucket of warm water and a small towel. "Thank you for keeping an eye on her. You don't have to stay any longer if you don't wish. But I won't force you to leave if you want to stay." He kneeled down next to Tyra and noticed the drool. 'Tsk. Honestly. He wiped it away with a handkerchief he kept in his pocket before dunking the towel in the water, leaving it to soak for a few seconds before ringing it out, leaving some of the moisture in, but keeping it warm. He gently placed the towel on Tyra's head, trying his best not to wake her. Although the likelihood of her waking up now was very small. "When I joined up with these ponies, this is most certainly not where I saw myself being. I don't mind. Someone has to try and keep these young ones from hurting themselves. I'll stay for a few minutes to make sure she is sleeping peacefully. You staying or going Aqua?"

"No problem Wade." Aqua shyly smiled. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay or go. Anything could happen to her at this point. " It doesn't seem that the others would need me anyway... " Her thoughts started to take a negative current but she shook it off.

 

 

"I guess I'll just go." She shyly chuckled as she got up from her seat and walked out the door, shutting it behind her.

Left alone with Tyra, Wade took off his bandages and put down his hood. Opening his eyes for the first time in almost a day. 'That feels so much more natural. So stuffy inside those wrappings. Well, if I don't want people to ask questions, gotta make sure that they don't know. Hehe.'

 

He took the seat next to Tyra's bed and kept his ear up to 'keep an eye' on her movements. He let his mind wonder, thinking about the most pointless of trivia to pass the time.

Aqua, unsure of where to go, carelessly started to stroll away from the door and then pondered on where she should go and what she should do. She pushed up her glasses and then pressed her lips in a line as she was walking and thinking of what she should do.

Tyra, tucked in under the covers, smiled in comfort as she snuggled down into the bed. Not too long after, she began snoring quite loudly. No doubt it might have caused Wade some disturbance.

 

A few hours had passed before she finally regained consciousness, and her eye opened to see if anypony was still there.

"Uugh..." she mumbled, slowly blinking before sitting up, a groggy look on her face. She was not a morning pony.

Caramel was flying around the ship, making sure everything was ready for the trip. She had moved the last of the barrels of booze inside the kitchen storage, had checked all the new sails, stocked up on medical supplies and was now relaxing on a pile of hay above deck. If anyone needed her, she would be easy to find.

Aqua was smiling very widely with excitement. She just couldn't wait! Soon they would be sailing at sea! "Ah the sea..." Aqua thought happily. She just couldn't wait to sail!

 

Aqua squeed and twirled with joy, the seashells in her mane twinkling a bit. She had a canteen with her. Not always needed for a drink... But so she would always have water with her when she felt like bending it.

Scarlett walked through a portal from her room into the medical room of the ship. She stepped to the side as many types of medical equipment and supplies came forth wrapped in her magic and set themselves down in the right places. After the medical equipment was through a stream of her own things came through, though all that really came through was her saddlebag and some small metal spheres.

 

She walked up the stairs to get to her room, and she opened the door and levitate all the stuff inside. Now that she was done, she went up above deck to find Caramel and upon finding her she flopped down on the floor next to her and said "Well, I'm ready. I assume you're ready as well, so who are we waiting for? I think your love for the sea has affected me."
