The war to end all wars-

In the year, 1914. Archduke of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by Serbian Separatists, this lead Austria-Hungary to declare war on Serbia. The already mobilized Rushian Empire declared war on Austrio-Hungary to defend their allies in Serbia, which brought the Empire of Germane in to defend Austrio-Hungary. The Alliance between Prance and Rushia caused Prance to join the war against Germane. German soldiers had to pass through the small nation of Belgium to attack Prench forces. Equestria warned Germane to leave Belgium or else. Germane chose 'or else' and Equestria was brought into the war. Equestria pulled their vassal the Crystal Empire into the war. Then the Kingdom of Italy join the war on the side of Germane. And this where our story begins.

 

It is the year 1916, on the Western front of the war. Equestrian, Prench, and Crystal forces battle against the Germans and their Austro-Hungarian allies on the border. Hundreds of miles of trenches extend across the land as gas attacks, bombardment, and gunfire will the air. The land between the Trenches: No-Pony's-Land is full of corpses, barbed wire, and craters. Before our story ends, ten million ponies will lie dead. Because in this war, there are no winners.

Short Backstory: He was a lumber worker in Prance, cutting down trees and selling the lumber for money. He was deported once war broke out and ended up getting drafted into the military

Short Backstory: Deathmarks real name was swift shot. She lived on a farm, in equestria, that's were she learned how to shoot.

Nationality: Prance
Appearance: 5'9, grey eyes, dark brown hair tied into a short ponytail, good female figure.
Age: 27
Personality: Silent and Rebellious.
Short Backstory: No one really knew who she really was, she just showed up one day and started coming along patrols, she killed her fair share of enemy over the time. At first she used nothing but a old piece of gardening equipment as a weapon to sneak up behind enemies while they were suppressed by her fellow countrymen and brutally execute them with whatever she could get her hands on. She turned almost anything into a tool for death and she was very determined to fight the enemy. After surviving longer than most of the soldiers she was with she was eventually commended for her survivability and loyalty to her country. She was then made an official soldier of the Prance Army and went to the frontlines to face Prance's enemies.

Short Backstory: when he was younger wanted to join the royal air force but dropped out due to the his tendency to crash at high speeds so he decided to deliver mail instead. When the war began he was excited to serve his country and tried once again for the royal air force and once again failed and was moved to his current position  message carrier

Hey we are all the little guys in this war. Being privates we will see the most burtal action in a war that really didn't make a whole lot of sense. There is no bad guys expect the dundering commanders you ordered the deaths of thousands of mens lives... which they were on all sides

Honestly I don't know if they had any real power or if they were just figure heads. I just know they were alive
